I loved the room. Awesome jetted tub, full kitchen, and a balcony. I heard the manager reception was nice, though we didn't participate. Loved how the rooms had just about everything you would need for an extended stay.
The pool, although nice, could use an update. Was a little on the small side. Not to happy to find out that WiFi is available but only at a charge ($10 isn't much but since most hotels include it it was a bummer) . Not alot of choices entertainment wise (not alot of cable choices or movie choices at the front desk). And maybe make sure the dishes in the kitchen are clean. I get not wanting to waste a load of dishes to clean a few glasses but can't you guys swap out the dirty dishes for clean ones between customers? It also would have been nice to have some chairs in the crows nest (I get that it's off season but at least a couple folding chairs?)
My family and myself had a wonderful time staying in this hotel. It was beautiful and clean and the jetted bathtub was a nice touch. We would definitely stay here again.
We loved our room and the setup . We had everything we needed.
Great location, one block from the main street of town. Very near to the beach. Comfortable, spacious room. Fully equipped kitchen. Room was spotless when we moved in. Nice breakfast (biscuits & gravy[!?], oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, cereal, yoghurt) and free coffee & tea in the lobby all day.
Home away from home feeling. Continental breakfast was great!
Refreshment time from 5 to 6. Great chance to meet other guests.gusts
Updated tasteful decor. Staff extremely friendly. Substantial breakfast buffet kept well stocked and area clean.
Jam or something sticky all over cupboard knobs. Most dishes in the dishwasher. Coffee left in pot and dirty coffee cups.
The city is odd. Seems to be geared towards younger grouos? We are in our 30s amd many olaces were either arcade to eat, or theyvwere closed, no one was in there and the "irish pub" was not an Irish Pub. The room was great though!
Are stay was great. Good location and enjoyed all the amenities. Will definitely be back.
The mattress in our room needs to be replaced, very bumpy and not real comfortable.
The staff was very friendly; accommodating; made us feel like we were home. We will definately be staying there again soon. The room was comfortable and very clean, wish we could have stayed longer.
just a short walk to the shops
that you have to pay for wifi
Room was comfortable and clean.
Room should have been checked before guest arrival. Jetted tub didn't work until GFI was reset, phone didn't work until port was switched, some of the dishes were missing. Woke up by maintenance man who had the wrong room. Wifi should be free.
From the moment we stepped in, we were completely enraptured with the room. We took full advantage of the fireplace and the jetted tub. While we had good intentions of using the kitchen, the local restaurants made it impossible to want to stay in and cook for ourselves. Rivertide Suites was truly a little paradise this holiday season.
Breakfast was ok at best. There need to be some hot food options. Manager's reception really needs to be called a wine reception. The Manager was great though!
Visiting Seaside for Christmas with family. Rivertides was PERFECT !
loved the hotel, the staff was nice and it was perfectly placed. not too close to all the shops, but definitely within walking distance.
jetted tub in the hotel room did not work, and the water was a little cold.
Excellent service and very friendly staff.
The amenities were excellent! Bed very comfortable. When we needed assistance somebody was at our door within 2 minutes! We wanted a quiet getaway and we got it! Well worth the $$ !!
They didn't have the Thursday night football channel! :-( Other than that, it was a perfect stay!
The room was very nice and spacious - a small apartment. The furnishings were modern and the bed was comfortable.
We found a hair on the pillow band another one on the nightstand near the bed after the room was cleaned! The coffee pot didn't work. I was not allowed to check in because I had made the reservation in my husband's name. This is a ridiculous policy! I made the reservation, but they required his ID. They weren't very friendly about it. We've been married for 25 years. I was told they could change the reservation into my name and then I could check in. This makes no sense.
luxurious, clean and friendly/helpful staff
the noises the jet tub made
We left early d/t the pending snow storm and checked out on 11/13. I lost the card the nice woman gave me with her name. But I wanted to give a shout out for preparing a care-package of breakfast.
Clean and comfortable rooms. Hotel is in walking distance to beach and downtown. Good location.
Staff was not very friendly. I paid for a River View King Suite. They stuck me in the room that was literally one step from the lobby. We could see the front desk from our door. When we asked if another room was available, the staff simply replied "no, we are completely booked." He didn't offer any other suggestions or explanations. Meanwhile, many other guests come checking into their rooms hours after we checked in, and somehow they are able to get their rooms on a higher level, away from lobby noise. I could hear the phones ringing and guests talking all through the day and night. Not my best first impression to have of this hotel. Not sure if I would book a room here again.
The rooms were very warm and inviting. The jetted tub helped relax after a long day walking along the cold beach. Surprised to see complementary beer and wine. Now that is a happy hour. Great stay! Thank you all!
Very minimal issue. No Free wi-fi for the price of the room, it should be covered. Luckily I had my own hotspot and was able to use the Internet and connect to my work. No Channel guide to let you know what the channels were or what was showing.
Wonderful room, staff was great.
The Wifi didnt work at all. and if it did, it was a $10 charge
As for headline suggests, these are basically condos that you could live in full-time if you wanted. The location is great, just a few blocks from the beach. It is very clean and quiet, nice balconies also.
As with most places, the breakfast hours are limited. If you want to sleep in, like some of us do on vacation, you can forget about having their breakfast.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable, room was cozy. Breakfast had lots of fresh options, fruit, yogurt, bagels, biscuits, cereal, juice and fresh coffee.
$10.00 to use their Wi-Fi. I was not the only guest that thought this was strange. Even cheap motels offer free Wi-Fi. :(
