close to rocky mountain national park. I liked the trout stream running through the property. I actually don't fish but others did.

bath drain was a little slow.

Comfortable bed, nice to be able to hear the creek. Clean, easy to get to, off the bypass route.

My room was just a cinderblock box, with a small "balcony" to view the creek. Nothing like the picture on the web site... Lots of rules, on how many stayed in the room, which was the same price for friends who were staying at the same location, and had 3 more than I in their party....

    Nice area. Nice helpful staff.

Run down room noisy people upstairs. Cabins looked much nicer.

    On the river. Friendly staff

Expected to be in a cabin rather than motel. TV's were out of the 60's (old and small)

Picturesque location along creek within a mile of Estes Park downtown area. Very close to entrance for Rocky Mountain National Park. Staff very helpful with recommendations for hiking or area restruants.

Studio room type (sold as Old Mountain Mountain Lodge room) with walkout patio are very dated and in need of major renovation. Carpet and sofa in need of cleaning. Daytime temperatures warm, but no air conditioning or fans in room. If you have a choice, and can afford it, pick one of the "Cabins on the River".

was quite disappointed to end up in a basic room with a terrace leading to the parkinglot as there are just pictures of wooden huts and I expected to have booked one like that. Also "Fabulous" is something else........

Location, it is close to everything and easy to get to. Relaxing atmosphere, clean, friendly staff, your backyard is a trout stream and attractive. It is basic accommodation's with a perfect setting. Nothing fancy but well worth the money!

A few more parking spaces would be nice and a hair dryer. Not much to dislike when you look out your patio door at a trout stream and green grass instead of asphalt.
