Staff were great And the manager was the best quality and made it feel like home
Location Staff very friendly & helpful Small enough to be more like a B&B Bed comfortable Relaxed atmosphere
A/C very noisy TV channels all confused due to change in provider - need to straighten that out.
It was very clean and comfortable. They mix their own soaps, shampoos and conditioners. The food was great. The staff was very friendly and made sure you had everything you needed. I would definitely stay here again!
It did get noisy at night being right on the river walk but they do have good windows and curtains to help with the sound.
Breakfast Location Free wi-fi Charming and Historic
Location to the Riverwalk, Alamo, and other downtown locations.
Parking avalability. Tring to find a parking garage during activities at the convention center was very stressful.
I loved the historical feel, beautiful rooms and windows. Also, the breakfast was delicious and the lemonade and complimentary wine was really nice. Can't imagine goin to San Antonio an staying anywhere else honestly.
The bums and other people standing by entrance and corner make it kinda eerie to walk by to get in.
Great location, and a really nice historic property steps from the Riverwalk - friendly and helpful staff.
They promised things that they didn't have. There was no pool or fitness center onsite. They did not offer wifi either. All these items were listed as amenities and they did not any of these things.
I liked the history it had, it was very cool and the uniforms the staff wore just added to the atmosphere.
I did not expect it to be a historic hotel.. I must have missed that somewhere. I hated that I had to park across the street and down the block for no less than 36 dollars a day and sometimes more depending how many times I needed to leave. I was there to see my husband graduate basic training and I had my small baby in her stroller so I was by myself most of the time, walking from the parking garage was really scary at night and getting up those stairs by myself with a stroller and all my luggage was kind of awful. The hotel itself was great but I really would never stay here again.
A wonderful historic property with excellent facilities and service with breakfast included in a great location right by the Riverwalk.
The entire staff was terrific and very knowledgeable.
The location is central to the Alamo and the Riverwalk- my trip was a short one and I wanted to be within walking distance of everything I wanted to see. The hotel itself is located in an historic building with high celiings and personality everywhere. I will stay there on my next trip.
The corner room facing the street was a bit noisy but in all fairness, the Spurs will not be winning game 7 at home every day.
This hotel is unique, you feel like in the past, along with today's comfort. Incredible place.
In our room, some noise coming from the macdonald's one floor below.
I highly recommend the Riverwalk Vista. It's charming, unique, in a great location, with friendly staff and amazing breakfasts!
Noise on the street. I was facing Commerce Street and it was quite loud. I come from New York City, so it wasn't new to me, but if I were coming from a quieter place, I imagine this would be an issue.
Unique blend of old and new. Very friendly staff and comfortable room
Couldn't find a single thing wrong
historic building, unique and distinctive style (i.e., not a cookie-cutter hotel), lovely shower and bed
very loud, raucous bar crowd (my room was facing the main street) rickety old desk chair staff was nice but not especially helpful in terms of helping give directions and locating different amenities/resources.
This hotel is a gem. It's historic roots and amazing inn keepers made our stay a huge positive highlight in our trip. We highly recommend the Riverwalk Vista
Road noise outside
Large rooms with large windows. Nice bathrooms. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Beautiful design, unobtrusive but helpful staff, location, fantastic shower!!!
was a little noisy from street noise, bed could have been more comfy, more lights or more powerful lights would have been helpful
too much street noise, a/c unit very loud, ceiling fan made noise. No amenities at the hotel other than room for breakfast
Historic, great staff (helpful, friendly), free breakfast, close to riverwalk, comfy bed
On one of the days one of the lobbies and stairwell was pretty warm, but it is the summer in San Antonio and an old building, so this is completely understandable. Room a/c worked just fine, though. Also, no "therafish" in the room as I had expected, but again, not a big deal. Overall a wonderful experience!
I liked every aspect of this hotel. The rooms were beautiful and felt comfortable. The showers are huge and everything is well taken care of. I like the personal feel of this hotel; since there are only 16 total rooms the innkeepers are there whenever needed. The breakfast is outstanding; homemade quiche is one of a kind. The location is exactly what we hoped for; literally walking distance to everything we wanted to see. This hotel had excellent reviews when I booked it and it far exceeded my expectations!!! It also impressed my fiancé, which says a lot because he is quite picky.
There was nothing I didn't like!
Historic building Location particularly near the riverwalk Breakfast Interior design Staff courtesy
Air condition was noisy and smelt dusty Design whilst quirky was a bit dowdy
The room was excellent, our room was upgraded to a king, free of charge. Our window overlooked the nice view of the city with the river walk right across the street. Breakfast was great not your usual prepackaged fare. The hotel is decorated with antique quilts and memorobilia
City construction made it difficult to get to the hotel. The city noise was loud but the hotel had special windows to help with the noise
