Wonderful receptionist Lawrie was very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We had a ground floor room which was huge. Very comfortable bed and all very clean.
I had a terrible experience over the road at the dreadful pizza place. Exceptionally rude staff who clearly need to go for a course at Charm School. We ordered two pizzas to eat in; my husband's arrived so he ate it. Mine was no where to be seen and when I asked the woman said it was cooking. It eventually was done after waiting 45 minutes but I had had enough and asked for it to be boxed up to take out. All done with very bad manners, no apologies or anything resembling a smile. There is no where else to eat in Loa unless you want to go back up the road to one of the small towns about 20 miles away. What a shame this pizza place lets down an otherwise pleasant stay.
Lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Nice included breakfast. Really nice room (two storey queen suite with three beds) with lots of space. The best value for money on our entire trip.
Not enough chairs, and no table, cutlery or crockery. Since Loa does not have restaurants, these are important.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. Can't say enough about the staff.
The only bad thing was there was little choice for places to eat.
Limited quantity of breakfast items but what was there was quality. Thank you. Our room was very nice. Nice fridge with nice size freezer compartment. The young man who checked us in and out was extremely polite and helpfull.
Wi-fi was not strong. Kept losing signal.
This hotel had lots of charm. The staff was super friendly, breakfast was great, the wifi was great, our room was comfortable. We loved our stay here.
beautiful room, nice lobby and breakfast area. super clean. we would stay again
We were upgraded to a suite which was wonderful. Lots of room, and it was nicely furnished. Two of the days that we were there, the girl who was at the front desk and running things was the manager's wife, and she was extremely pleasant and accommodating.
The bathroom fixtures need to be replaced, they are definitely looking shabby.
Friendly staff. Period property with history. Near to amazing Country Cafe.
No coffee maker No ice machine available, (although when requested ice was made available). Window removed in left in room. not very effective a/c until morning, (maybe reason for window removal).
Bed was very comfortable
The hotel ran out of hot water in the morning so cold showers were the only option . The management knew this and let us know but a warm shower in the morning is a basic requirement for us and we will not stay there again.
Simple elegant furnishings, quiet atmosphere, comfortable bed.
Barely adequate breakfast
The furniture of the room was pretty new. Helpful staff; good wifi internet; I could use the kitchen there (the microwave of our room was missing) - here I see quite a potential for the Road Creek Inn because something like a shared kitchen is rare in the US.
Microwave and remote control was missing and there were some leftovers in the fridge - it seems the room was not well inspected after the last guests. The room itself was clean.
Staff very friendly. Very nice stay.
AC poor. Probably due to age of building. Other than AC not keeping up, very excellent stay. No close eating establishments. Have to drive 8-20 miles to eat.
Great staff at front desk. Very helpful.
No sound proofin between floors. You could hear every step. Extremely limited food options.
Warmhearted staff, good price, and the whole settings and decorations.
Beautifully restored and decorated building. Immaculately clean. All bedding and linens luxurious for a moderately priced hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. A real cut above normal hotel stays.
We had the room in the basement - it was awesome! We have never had an in room sauna before! Everything is so clean and fresh - loved it!
Can't really say there was anything we didn't like - the breakfast could use some protein foods but we understand that is more expensive.
We find that we can count on the Road Creek Inn to be one of the best place to stay while in their area. They are always happy to help in any way they can.
There was nothing to dislike.
The Inn Keeper was delightful and kind. He carried my suitcase up the stairs for me. The Inn was clean and looked warm and welcoming. Nice and free continental breakfast! Great value and great location.
The mattress had seen better days.
The small, quaint environment made us felt better serviced than the larger hotels.
Friendly staff, nice sized room.
The fluorescent light was kind of odd...didn't fit with the decor.
The staff. Very helpful and knowledgable about the area. Anxious to please.
Room was very stuffy. Only window filled with a less than to be desired air conditioner.
personnel very friendly, huge room with nice beds, simple but adequate breakfast. location close to capitol reef np.
room on ground floor had a window, but could not look outside as it was place really high and was very small, room had no airco but a ceiling fan, room was noisy as it was located near the entrance, pretty damp bathroom. WiFi signal very weak and slow. would stay here again, but would ask for a room upstairs. no restaurants nearby only a pizza place across the street where they serve deep freeze pizza ( yes they realy do ! )
Excellent overall. The staff was very professional & friendly. I was surprised to find a neat gift shop with items from water to guides of mountain trails. Built in 1912, yet all of the updates for the present day traveler.
