Old charm with modern touches. Very clean and comfortable.
Nice breakfast included by pleasant hosts.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Cleanliness. Room size was good. Nice continental breakfast.
Walking distance to downtown. Staff recommended restaurants nearby that were great. Breakfast was homemade by the staff and was very good. Location was quiet.
Bed not very comfortable.
Very clean rooms and very friendly staff. Location is good in a very small town. Very cozy feeling. It was very comfortable and clean. Will surely stay there again.
no downstairs room
We enjoyed the very comfortable room. The staff ,Marcus and his wife were very knowledgeable and interesting to talk to. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and a kettle to boil the water for tea!
Very charming little inn. Spacious, beautiful room. Clean and updated. The general manager (Clay) was very accommodating and helpful. Given the price, we weren't expecting this level of quality and service. Wi-fi service was great.
Breakfast was pretty scant. My wife would have preferred a softer bed (maybe a pillow-top mattress at least). TVs are a little outdated.
The front desk man was very friendly and helpful. The quilts on the queen beds made us feel at home. The continental breakfast food was great, although I saved room for the big cinnamon rolls and small pies that are sold at the Gifford Farm House in Capitol Reef National Park--mmm mmm good! The room was quiet, spacious and furnished nicely. There was a Butterfinger candy bar awaiting us in the room when we checked in. There was also complimentary candy available at the front desk.
There were limited places to eat in the immediate area. We had to drive about 20 minutes to Torrey to have a selection of about 10 restaurants or so. But the drive there near sunset time is absolutely gorgeous, so it was worth the drive. The bathroom was a little tight.
The beds were awful! If they spend some money on foam mattress covers it would improve the place with little cost. Also have black out curtains in the front suites to block light from street light which is right in front of windows, I felt like I was in Vegas.
Old style hotel, very clean. Staff very helpful. Left too early for breakfast but it looked like it would be good.
Few eating places in town
The room was very nice furnished , clean and comfortable. It worth to be there becase of the low price.
Big rooms, well furnished, attentive staff. The history of the hotel in a converted Co-'ll building. Would be great for a one night stopover while travelling.
No individual air conditioning in the bedrooms, just one system for the whole hotel, so no individual adjustment. We stayed to visit Capitol Reef and struggled to find a hotel closer. Very little option for evening meals in Loa, we travelled a 30/40 mile round trip to Torrey each night.
Cassidy and Markus at the reception was so helpfull and nice.
Our room was far from reception and wi-fi did not work there, but it was not a problem.
Cheap, good breakfast, nice room
Asked for an upper floor room but got a room in the basement with no window (just one to the hallway). You could hear every step the people above you took very good. Air conditioning was very loud - but it was cheap that mattered for us!
room décor quilt on bed breakfast staff
There was nothing to dislike. Would have liked a box of Kleenex.
The onsite managers were VERY friendly and the hotel was very clean. I would come back here just to see the staff. Thank you.
The water line for the fridge ran all night and kept us up but it was tolerable.
Staff - exceptional - breakfast - good for the price of the room. Huge room with both fridge and microwave. Love the pebble ice!
Bathroom had some water issues - luke warm water in the evening - water damage floor - needs a new shower curtain.
Wonderful receptionist Lawrie was very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We had a ground floor room which was huge. Very comfortable bed and all very clean.
I had a terrible experience over the road at the dreadful pizza place. Exceptionally rude staff who clearly need to go for a course at Charm School. We ordered two pizzas to eat in; my husband's arrived so he ate it. Mine was no where to be seen and when I asked the woman said it was cooking. It eventually was done after waiting 45 minutes but I had had enough and asked for it to be boxed up to take out. All done with very bad manners, no apologies or anything resembling a smile. There is no where else to eat in Loa unless you want to go back up the road to one of the small towns about 20 miles away. What a shame this pizza place lets down an otherwise pleasant stay.
Lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Nice included breakfast. Really nice room (two storey queen suite with three beds) with lots of space. The best value for money on our entire trip.
Not enough chairs, and no table, cutlery or crockery. Since Loa does not have restaurants, these are important.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. Can't say enough about the staff.
The only bad thing was there was little choice for places to eat.
Limited quantity of breakfast items but what was there was quality. Thank you. Our room was very nice. Nice fridge with nice size freezer compartment. The young man who checked us in and out was extremely polite and helpfull.
Wi-fi was not strong. Kept losing signal.
This hotel had lots of charm. The staff was super friendly, breakfast was great, the wifi was great, our room was comfortable. We loved our stay here.
beautiful room, nice lobby and breakfast area. super clean. we would stay again
