The staff was friendly, room clean, food great!
Old style but charm. I like the old look and style(log). Staff is good.
I think they can improve bit more inside the room.
Your landscape and fountains were so pretty the duck pond it was a bueatiful quiet place
We liked the availability of the 2 outdoor and 1 indoor pools. But the weather was a bit too chilly for outdoor swimming. Staff was very friendly and hospitable.
Rooms were very outdated and a bit musty smelling. (We lit a scented candle and it seemed to help.) Beds were too hard and had a hard time getting comfortable.
Friendliness of staff
No fridge - no tea or coffee making facilities No heating No hair dryer
bedding, mattress, hot water and A/C were OK. The outdoor pool looked OK (didn't use it)
Noisy, "clanging" pipes under our room all night, musty smell in room, dirty carpet, very outdated bathroom fixtures, no hairdryer,...
wonderful staff, the owner, Mr Green knew our names the first day.
I like that it is pet friendly and clean
The settings and landscape
The room was old, dirty and moldy. The sheets were not pressed and seemed used. A pity because the place looked very nice. We ended up changing hotels.
Location and the staff and scenery.
The first room they gave us wasn't ready at all, beds not made, garbage left in the room and didn't give me a discount for the inconvenience. Gave us a different room no up grade.
Multiple outdoor activities like volley ball, tennis, pool, horse riding.
Rooms were not clean. I asked for fridge and called 3 times, still no one came. Phone was not working, no one came even after calling them.
Location was great. Close to Lake George. Near many other interesting destinations. The outdoor pool was usable (best thing I can say about this place).
Cleanliness was awful. Facilities were a joke. Indoor pool was unusable. I literally would not let my kids go in. I was scared to visit the spa after seeing the pool. Rooms were filthy. So-called "playground" was just a dirty, dilapidated plastic slide. "Water slide" was a plastic inflatable that was not functioning. Tennis courts were overgrown with weeds, had cracked surfaces and potholes. Nobody could possibly play tennis without injuring themselves. I cut my visit short because the place was really awful.
Roads bad. Room musty. AC not working in one room. Rear screen door fell off.
Not much. The Bees in my room didn't sting me. Rest of the place looked okay, but I wasn't staying there.
No frig, insects, remote from the rest of Hotel. I think the building I stayed in was for staff and they put us there because they were full up. Building ( no exaggeration ) should have been torn down long ago. The TV was a 13" or 15" Zenith, (are they still around). Deck looked like a Roller Coaster and our bureau had a10% pitch to the wall. We booked at the last minute but this was the worst room I ever stayed in, and I'm a biker.
The property was quiet!
The breakfast was less than expected and the road leading up to the check in was horrible; especially for motorcycles(we were there for Americade).
The staff was friendly and accommodating. The three pools were very clean. The masseuse was excellent.
The ranch could use a little TCL it needs to be updated a bit. We had to be moved to a different room. The first room was mildewy, the sink overflows, it smelled like moth balls extremely humid. They had odor eater pine trees the kind you place in your car hanging from all the lamps. And the sound ie. Footsteps coming from the upstairs tenants did not let us sleep. Definitely ask for a second floor room.
the place was beautiful outside, the grounds was nice,
in the room they didn't have a up dated t.v. the extra bed was to close to the bathroom. the indoor pool was close,
cold shower no coffee maker in the room
