The place looked run down. The carpets were tore up, our tolit had a sewer smell. The staff was not abalible. The beds were uncomfortable not mention we know the bedding was not changed while we were there. Our sheet had a hole in it. That made us wonder if they even changed them after the last guest. We won't return

For a one night stay, this motel covered your basic needs, a bed to sleep in, a tube tv, a shower, sink, mini fridge, Wi-Fi, and a coffee maker. Friendly staff. Free parking. Nice cafe shops near by and the beach and zoo is just walk away. Overall, it's affordable and you get what you paid for. The pillows and sheets should be replaced. It almost feels like they have been there since the 90's. And the towels were small and not thick enough. These can be easily replaced by shopping at a value store such as Walmart. :)

Leaving The personnel were very rude! They charged me almost double the price on the website! They just kept saying, "well we are the cheapest on the internet" which is untrue (Redroof inn is $60 per night) The room was filthy. The sheets had holes in them and gave my children rashes! I believe drug deals and prostitution was happening all night outside and in the other rooms. Not a family place to stay! Never going back again!!

There was a Muni stop outside the hotel. This was the only good thing about it. If it was possible to give this place a minus rating I would. The room smelt and an air freshner had been stuck to the wall to cover the smell. The bathroom was filthy and had human? Hairs stuck on the tiles. The room its self needed deep cleaning to try to improve it but I think that would be a waste of time. The best thing that could happen to this place is demolition.I Stayed at six different hotels on our journey and this is the only bad review. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything that is going on next door and above. Not very pleasant. This place is not worth its money.DO Not stay here.

Walking distance to the zoo. Noisy, dirty, poorly maintained. Management unresponsive, almost reclusive. Does not want to be bothered.

It is very basics - you will have shower running, a bed, or 2 beds, tv, a phone, a small fridge, and a microwave. The staff is pleasant, and helpful. The motel is located at the end of l lane, close to the Zoo. So it takes about 25 min to get to downtown, cost of ticket is $2 for one direction. My boyfriend ate a breakfast at a close facility and said it is overpriced and not of good quality. The area looks really poor, and the motel looks the same, very, very poor. My boyfriend who really does not care much about the appearance of things, felt kind of taken down when first entered the room at the hotel. He even asked me if we could afford something better. So the motel and the rooms create kind of really gloomy and sad feeling once you enter it. Looks old, poor, and depressing. A little overpriced for what you get. However, we stayed there only to sleep. Smoking is allowed, so we liked that. Surprisingly it is also quiet. There is a flat screen tv in the room, and a small coffee machine. The housekeeper replaced that every morning, she also changed the bed linen every day, and cleaned the room. If you are on a budget, and don't spend time in the room, it is ok. Just very basics, and don't get depressed. From the other hand, it is quiet, clean, hot water running, and you don't pay for parking which usually runs about $50 in a hotel downtown. We just slept there, and that is it. There is so much to see and do at downtown so the motel really did not matter to us, or we just did not pay much of attention. I would liked to have a little lower price that what we actually payed. For a little more money I could have gotten a room in a hotel downtown, but that will be next time. Sf is awsome city, and there is some much to see, and do, so that completely takes any discomforts away.

I wanted to go to the Zoo, and we ended up staying right across from it! The hotel is a very short walk from a lovely cafe, and a short drive from any other facilities one might need such as grocery shopping. The shower head was very short! Both my husband and I had to sort of squat to get under the water. Also, my sister's room had bars on the windows, which she found troublesome since the neighborhood seemed safe enough.

The staff were very nice. My kids knew them by name after three days. The location was great for what I wanted to do. Ocean beach is only a short walk from this motel and the zoo is right across the street. The public transit is right next store also so no driving to and from in San Francisco which was a majore plus. Beds were very comfy and clean. The showers were a bit old fashioned. It was hard to get the water to the right temp expecially for my kids. Other than that it was fine.

Availability at the time we needed. Not even up to Motel 6 "standards". No soap, no wash clothes, plenty of dust bunnys. The bed was good though, and there was hot water! Due to the New Year holiday, it was about the best we could do without robbing the bank. It did serve the purpose, but I do not recommend it.

I had read the reviews after I booked and was worried, but you know it wasn't bad. The lady that check us in wasn't overly friendly but wasn't rude either. The next morning we called to ask for a late check out and they gave us an extra hour with no problem. We were given extra towels upon requesting them. The heater didn't work and the remote was broken but it was alright. Heater didn't work Remote didn't work

I liked the price and closeness to Fuscia Gardens as my son got married there. My son and the wedding party all had rooms there. Management did not like the wedding party hanging out in one room. Instead of asking what was going on they wanted me to pay more money for everyone hanging out in one room and eventhough everyone did pay and have there own rooms. I didn't pay more i just thought it was rude

Public transport was really close to hotel. Very close to the beach. Reception staff seemed very distracted - one was sat behind reception with a towel on her hair and didn't even come to the counter to deal with queries. Room was very poor - towel rail broken off, bathroom floor dirty, bathroom shelf trim missing etc etc.

The location next to a tram station is perfect for exploring sf. Park the car and take the ride into the city. No hassle and no figuring out lines etc. This motel is really only about having a decent room to sleep. The rooms are worn down and there are old stains here and there, but its pretty clean and decent. However a 100 per night is pricy I think. I guess thats sf for you.

The motel is on the L train route and close to bus routes, making it very convenient to get around town. The owners were available and helpful with advise/directions. Daily room service with clean linen and towels was provided. The pacific ocean was only a block away, with a trail parallel to the beach.
