Rodeway Inn - Berkeley  

Mu husband and I have a daughter at Berkeley. This was our first visit to Rodeway Inn after tolerating some of the other motels on University. First impression is beautiful use of flowers around the rooms. The motel appears to have been remodeled, rooms clean, bed comfortable, and most surprising a wireless internet that can actually be used. We will definitely stay here again.

Good location

Disappointed that there were no rooms available with two beds available. Had to share a bed with my co-worker. Also,there was a slight Indian food smell to the room, not terrible, but could smell it.

Good location when visiting UC Berkeley. Cheap.

Air quality could be better. Breakfast place is like in train.

The room was clean and appeared as advertised in the video. We enjoyed our stay for one night and felt reasonably safe at this location in the city. We would stay here again.

I liked it because it is very clean, good price, breakfast is free access, the rooms are comfortable, the bathroom clean and give you shampoo, soap, towels changed every day, the atmosphere is friendly, staff very good, and very close to downtown Berkeley and the University of California. Very good hotel.

I was satisfied with the hotel, met with what I expected.

I liked the convenience of being close to the UCB campus. I liked the free parking and free wifi. I liked the ease of check-in and the friendly manager. I liked the spruced-up grounds (fountain, flowers).

The noise factor - too many people coming and going on Friday night and not being mindful of sleeping neighbors. The bedding in our room was a bit old.

There were several tings to like at the Roadway Inn-Berkeley. The staff was very friendly and checking in and out was very easy, the rooms were very clean, comfortable and (for a single female traveling) appeared very safe. There were several resturants within walking distance. Was able to walk to both Berkeley and the North Berkeley Bart, so I saved on not having to rent a car. A contenental breakfest was also provided that had several options to chose from. The cost was very reasonable. I enjoyed my stay and would definately go back.

Because cars park in the enterence to rooms, it could be noisey, but even that was occassional when people locked their cars.

The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Internet connection is fast and stable.

It was central, clean, nice room and bathroom. The breakfast for a continental modality was more than fair. The manager was nice and always there.

No , allthough I would enjoy a firmer mattress.
