Great location, room was too small... but still nice.
Not so great if you drove in. Parking spaces are limited and not angled well.
It's cozy, trendy, super clean, and I can stay in the Bronx vs Manhattan. I always get parking out front but there is private parking across the street. Breakfast is great. I only stay there in the BX.
I luv this lil hotel
Lift is not working. With baggage it is difficult. Stuff is not helpfull.
There was marijuana smell all night long . It's was a horrible stay. As a customer I will not recommend a place to any of my coworkers or friends.
I loved everything the cleanliness very respectful stuff. Comfortable stay Quite
I think check out should be extended to 12 just a suggestion & prices But overall everything was excellent!
Very "New York" like from the outside! The inside was clean and the room, although extremely small, was well designed and comfortable. That's New York -- tight and vertical. The hot breakfast was great too, and you had more than that continental-type danish selection: eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, etc. The area was very safe, in my opinion. I had been leery of that. But New Yorkers don't appear to be as "mean" as people say. Strangers were cordial and business owners wonderful. I would book this hotel again if I visit the Bronx.
We never could get wi-fi reception and ended up using our (expensive) hotspots on phones to access internet. Parking was ridiculously tight. There were 32 rooms in the hotel, according to my count, but only 8 parking spots. I ended up walking 20 blocks round-trip to the business section and catching cabs to avoid moving my car and losing my spot. No other complaints.
Clean, the most comfy beds, great breakfast, attentive staff.
There is nothing not to like.
The hotel looks modern, breakfast is good.
Customers should be informed prior to making a reservation that parking is limited to 7 vehicles on a first come first served basis. If no parking available we have to look for street parking or pay for parking at a gas station across the street. Manager is very rude with the guests over the phone. Rooms are never completely done. Some days you get back late in the evening and room is not done.
Room was of a higher quality than I expected. The hotel looks like it's been renovated recently. Would have easily paid 3 times as much for a similar room in Manhattan.
There was supposed to be free wifi, but I wasn't able to access it in my room.
Easy to find. Close to the zoo.
Parking very limited
The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Most important the under window AC unit has been bar none the quietest I have ever encountered, and helped me sleep very well. I needed a room to attend the Bronx 10 Mile race the next day, and it was close to subway to get me to the start/finish line. Be advised, parking is limited, however it did accommodate my SUV.
The WiFi even though it was for free, made me feel I was on dial-up again. I ended up tethering of my phone which was faster. In this day and age WiFi should be able to maintain a decent speed for normal web browsing. Other than this no complaints.
New place. Good neighborhood. Walked around even late night. Parking free but limited.
breakfast better than average. 12 min walking to subway station (however very distant station from the city center). clean and new room. friendly staff.
poor sound isolation (doorflaps all morning). small parking. terribly small room for this price. unstable WiFi quality. bad view from the window.
Was close to where I needed to be. Room was clean and comfortable.
Staff was very accommodating and helpful! Very knowledgeable about the surrounding area! Room was cozy and clean, very comfortable stay! The breakfast served was not your average one you get at most hotels in addition to the usual items (toast, bagels, muffins, pastries, cereal, fruit) they had eggs, bacon and sausage to choose from as well! Very excellent experience would recommend to any one wanting to stay near the city but not spend alot of cash to do it! With the extreme accessibility of the subway station within walking distance being just a few blocks up from this hotel it couldn't have been easier to travel to and from the city and other places we were wishing to travel too! We did not have to worry at all about making sure to catch the last shuttle to the hotel so there was not near as much stress on this trip! As well as free parking at the hotel for the entire stay! Felt safe in the hotel as well as to and from the subway station - - even let our teenage daughter walk to the car and vending machine area at the hotel without worrying about her being safe that's how safe we felt here! A+++++++
Parking lot needs to be a lot bigger! Also need to have YES network within the tv channels as well as a channel guide in the rooms! Sounds petty for a complaint but the hotel was so good and it was a GREAT experience that these are the only things I have to complain about!
Location, location, location
Friendly helpful staff. Close to subway. Felt safe in the Bronx.
Parking could be a challenge. 8 spots total available for whole hotel.
Everything was great, I was really surprised, given that from the outside looked so small.
They need a bigger parking lot.
Left car keys at the reception in case car needs to be moved as insisted by receptionist which is understandable. Came down next morning to find the windows of the car left open. No tangible reason was given for that. Luckily all valuables were intact.
It was a fair value. The breakfast items were good.
Room's were very small and the facility smelled like smoke through out.
the room was clean
the room was a little small
We chose this place for its proximity to the NY Botanical Gardens. They were fantastic! We appreciated the staff taking care of our car in the front parking lot. Space was limited but they had the keys to move it when necessary.
It was further from a subway station that we realized. Maybe 8-10 blocks which was hard for me since I can't easily walk long distances any more.
