We never could get wi-fi reception and ended up using our (expensive) hotspots on phones to access internet.
Parking was ridiculously tight. There were 32 rooms in the hotel, according to my count, but only 8 parking spots. I ended up walking 20 blocks round-trip to the business section and catching cabs to avoid moving my car and losing my spot. No other complaints.
Very "New York" like from the outside! The inside was clean and the room, although extremely small, was well designed and comfortable. That's New York -- tight and vertical. The hot breakfast was great too, and you had more than that continental-type danish selection: eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, etc. The area was very safe, in my opinion. I had been leery of that. But New Yorkers don't appear to be as "mean" as people say. Strangers were cordial and business owners wonderful. I would book this hotel again if I visit the Bronx.
