The morning office gentleman was very kind and pleasant!
The manager that checked us in the evening we arrived was rude an not of any help. We booked 2 rooms an the heat didn't work at all in one of the rooms he said to wait a half an hour or so to let it warm up. He also told us to let the water run for a half an hour in the a.m. to get it to warm up. He said he put us in the end two room so that we could help get the water an heat flowing to the rest of the building. Really on my dime. Terrible customer service do not stay here.
Paper thin linens. Random wires coming out of walls. Human hair all over the sheets and bathroom. If you stay here I'd bring a sleeping bag and beach towel. I paid $110/night, and it wasn't worth $50.
location, close to the event I was there for.
1) Seemed poorly maintained 2) The free breakfast wasn't available till after 7am. 3) Bathroom was VERY small and the door to it was difficult to open & close to get in & out of.
Was a shower and a bed with internet
Seemed a little dirty and smelled like cigarettes
It is located right on the edge of old downtown, where only a couple of other hotels (much more expensive) exist. Otherwise, you are up along the commercial strip coming in from the airport. Makes it a good value if the old town location matters (which is a nice place). Good grocery store directly across the street, as well.
Some of the the other guests, people hanging around the parking lot, etc, were a tad sketchy...if that bothers you. No one caused any problems or concerns during our stay, but if GJ has a bit of a seedy side, it seemed that much of it meandered through this block. Also a pretty noisy bar/club right next door that was thumping on a Saturday night. Continental breakfast is bad coffee in styrofoam cups and plastic-wrapped cheese danishes, but no big deal.
Price. Supermarket and liquor store within walking distance. Very close to Colorado National Monument.
Exotic clientele. Motel is right next to county courthouse and Sheriff's station. To be fair, we had no problems. Check-in guy was ignorant of basic courtesies, but got the job done.
I did not like anything. I am not one to report things and write reviews but I did not like anything about this hotel. There is nothing good
It was in a bad part of gj. Not 3 minutes after I got there the police came arrested somebody at the hotel that was living there. I have a service dog, they put me in the filthiest room I have ever stayed in, worse then my 3rd world room in Indonesia, it was that bad. It is the type of hotel that very low income people live in, they hang out in front of the room hollering back and forth smoking cigarettes. I would never recommend this hotel not even to animals it is that bad
The phone rang through the night people banging walls and doors, and I swear there were crack heds on the front sidewalks
We have stayed in this hotel before and like the location to the downtown area in Grand Junction .Grocery store across the street .
The room was not really up to last years standard . The room we had was kinda run down. It needed a skilled Handy man to touch up a few of the "rough " edges .
Bedsheets are so dirty and a staff is not kind.
it was a good travel experience. the staff was nice, the room clean and comfortable. We did not use the wifi.
Location is good
Floor covered and bathroom design
Close to downtown and train station.
The rooms are very old, the TV had no remote, the place really needs to be updated or discounted further. Should be priced about $20 less per night than it is.
We felt that we really "lucked out" I chose the motel because it was on our route and easy to find. We didn't realize it was a block and a half from a wonderful section of town; a lovely urban renewal of Main Street. Great restaurants and shops, designed walkways, plantings and sculptures, plus good parking, offered us the opportunity to enjoy an alfresco meal and a walk. Altogether a very pleasant evening!
The accommodations were basic but comfortable. Having issues with mold on the tub side of almost every shower curtain in every motel we stay at, and because the tubs/showers are narrow, its hard to avoid brushing up against the stuff.
Close to downtown
Bathrooms were very small!
Close to train station.
It needs to be remodeled.
Room service came at 9:00am and check out is at 11:00am
