Rosen Inn Closest to Universal  

Fridge//Microwave/Iron & Board/Hairdryer/Coffee Maker/Safe/Air Con &TV & Wi-Fi in Room. Washing Machine and Tumble Dryer for use at $8 each & Free Ice Machine in hotel on numbered floors. Rooms cleaned and fresh towels issued every day. Hotel pool almost like a private pool as it was never busy and there was a towel hut stacked with fresh towels for you to use as you wished. Hotel is located within a 30 minute walk of Universal Parks. Wet n Wild almost directly across the street. Maintenance man was up within 5 minutes when I phoned reception to say I had a problem with the TV. Stayed at this hotel 13 years ago when it was The Rodeway Inn and liked the location and quality then and it is still as good as it was then. I would definately recommend this hotel for it's price, location, cleanliness and freindliness of staff. If ever visiting Florida again this is where I'd stay.

No dislikes only that it would be good if there was a veranda where you could open the patio doors onto. There's not a lot of storage space for clothes especially if there are 4 sharing the room and there's nowhere really to put the suitcases once you've emptied them. However we did manage and this is only a minor dislike. The drawers for the clothes are very deep and were able to hold everything we had it just meant tops, shorts and underwear all in the one drawer The suitcases we put at the top side of the beds.

claimed had free transportation to and from theme parks, which was my reason for booking this hotel. very very limited transportation to and from theme parks. Had to be on there schedule to use service. only ran 3 or 4 times a day. would not stay here again if were going to theme parks.

The hotel staff were noisy in a morning. There was an inch and a half gap at the bottom of every door which could be a fire hazard and let light in the room at night people were putting towels under the door at night.

Its a good hotel for the money. The room is nice and it has a fridge and microwawe. The location is good but maybe a little bit to close to all the big roads. The noice is not bad but its there.

They say they have renovated the hotel. Yet i was given a room at the building on the back of the hotel. The room was ok. Small and crowded with all the stuff. They need to improve the badrooms. The bathtub was dirty. For the price they ask what can i expect. But cleanness must be a priority on a hotel.

Comfortable and clean at a reasonable price. Located in an area of shops and restaurants that allowed us to meet our needs without having to drive. Friendly, helpful sstaff. Altogether a nice experience

Great value, clean rooms. Staff went out of there way to help me get a 13 page fax sent out even though they were very busy. No charge !

Nice place for the money! Very clean, and the most amazing this was that the beds were so comfortable!

Bathroom was pretty small. Adequate, but small.

Very unhappy with staff. I was told at check-in, that i could not use my AAA club card for any discounts. Then, when i go to check out, i was told that i could of used my AAA card for discounts. But that it was to late to do anything. Shower/tub would not drain. Will look for other hotels on next visit.
