The smell of curry!
older building, no view or pool.
Fleas, very dirty
The location allows for easy access to downtown Newport
Our room smelled of wet dog and cigarettes, 2 out of 3 lamps in the room didn't work, nor did the bathroom fan.
Despite the building looking run down and old, the rooms were pretty clean, and breakfast was in a small hot room but was fresh
The staff was horrible, woman had an edge and was ready for a fight, it's looks trashy with undesirables hanging outside smoking. For the money I wish it was closer to the water and shops. Pay the extra money for something better and closer!
The room is cleaned.
There was a water leaked on the shower. The water in the tub goes down slowly.
Place was filthy particularly the bathroom. Had to slep on top of covers. Cab driver told us the place does not have a good reputation, View from the room was the dumpster!
Bed hard as a rock Seedy area
Fairly low accommodations, tight bathroom but they were clean. Couldn't open up the curtains to let light in as no sheers, room was poorly lit.
It was a good value for the money. We wanted something close and inexpensive since we were out all day and did not need much in the way of accomodations. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable with a hair dryer, iron and board, and a refrigerator for our snacks. Office personnel were pleasant. It had all the basics at an inexpensive price.
It is on a main road but the noise was not bothersome.
Someone messed up reservations I made for July and set them for June instead. I didn't even know until I received a survey about my stay. That is when I realized booking made a mistake, I was charged for their mistake and now have no place to stay on dates requested. If the survey hadn't shown up I would have arrived in July to find out I had no place to stay. Very disappointing!!!
This motel is seriously out dated. Mini fridge did not work, tub was clogged.A/C stopped working on the second day. We did not receive any house keeping in the 3 days we were there. Breakfast is served from 7 to 10. Twice on a row we went down at 9 and breakfast was already put away. I would not recommend this motel.
It is good location right in front of the National Police Parade route so you can watch it without going further away.
It's not sound prove so sometime you can hear party noise upstair
Constant door slamming in the hallways, loud conversations. It seems there are people living there indefinitely, as homeless or welfare recipients. I will never stay there again. We checked out early.
location near to downtown Newport
facility reeked of curry. stairway to second floor was danderous and lacked handrails. continental breakfast was a joke.
It is good location and if you are planning on being out all day it is perfect. Plus we travel with our dog and this place was very welcoming.
The bathroom is old and the bathtub has old stains and the water would not drain very well. The breakfast was poor quality.
It was close to Newport and that was it!
The odor the minute the door was open hit us in the face, it was disgusting. The drain in the tub was so slow! The water was past my ankles. Not clean. A bag of dirty laundry was leaning on the ice machine as well as through out the entire hallway. The staff was less than friendly. We went elsewhere for breakfast. No microwave in the room. I will never go back and won't recommend it to anyone. Wish I could get my money back.
Nothing. Towels were stained as was the sheets. No shower head on shower. Toilet not working properly. Said breakfast but nothing not even coffee was on dining area and lights were turned off in dining area. Poor excuse for a motel. Shame on rodeway inns. Won't use them again. Have pictures to prove poor condition of rooms.
Can't think of anything good to say about place. Getto
Location with nearby attractions, WiFi...........
long stands of hair (women"s)stuck on the walls of the bath/shower, showere head very disfunctional, only hot water came out, couldn't lower temperature.....toilet very noisy and took long time to fill, very noisy bathroom fan......didn't tell me at check in that heater in room doesn't work...had to call front desk, then they told me they will turn it on!....not many wall plugs to use for computer....no tissuesback security door doesn't close by itself, had to pull it closed........
The inn is right in the middle of Middletown, RI, and therefore extremely close to basically everything on Aquidneck Island! The rates were very inexpensive.
The motel was a little bit dirty, and didn't feel very inviting in the rooms. The rooms were out-dated and a felt a little skeevy. BUT, it was only $40 a night!
Hotel was in close proximity to downtown Newport.
The staff did not clean the room and shower area until I went to the front desk; apparently making up the bed and removing trash was all they felt compelled to do. Additionally, the room was freezing and, most annoying was the fact that guests would smoke outside my room (1st floor)
roomy , comfortable bed,
staff at night, staff kitchen...need better microwwave,
Carpet was filthy throughout entire complex Bath towels were shabby and old.
Good value for the rate charged
Breakfast was very minimal so went to a restaurant
I am struggling to find something positive..it was close to Newport port .. The key is price: had this hotel charged 50 - 60 $ a night it would have been different
The guy at reception "welcomed" us with a complete lack of charm...the hotel is located on the main road so I asked for the room facing back but he did not have it..I Then asked for the room on the first floor which he gave me but not without making expressions "you are tiring me" style.i later saw that the whole upper floor was empty he simply didn't want to give us a better room for the special discount price we got..110$ A night! To bare a smelly dirty carpet, the smell of urine coming from the bathroom and a mold from the walls..it did have a tv , a coffee ,soap in the bathroom but it all felt so dirty and worn out that we couldn't wait to get out of the room
