Good location, friendly staff, clean rooms. Nothing fancy, but that was okay because you go to Southern Utah to hike, not to stay in a hotel!
Room was small and in need of repair.
Location was great. Beautiful view of the Blue Mountains.
No hot tub. Pool closed at 10:00 PM
noise , no water in pool
Very nice little town with super friendly people.
Hotel was in serious need of an upgrade. Breakfast was poor. No guidance by staff and not even any brochures. Came there to tour Canyon Lands and had to wing it for info.
Very Comfortable bed, and nice room. The staff was very friendly and efficient. There was a breakfast area, and there were good choices.
A hot tub was advertised, but had not been operable for some time. There was no landscaping, which may not matter, unless you are staying for several days and want a place to relax outside in the nice weather.
Not friendly checkout person. Not enough room to set at breakfast
Very helpful staff, very very nice bed, lokation perfect, okay breakfast, coffe 24hrs avaibly in the lounge. Very nice hotel for the money.
We could not lock our door ..but the staff found another room very fast.
The interior of the room is good.
The breakfast is not as promised. No hard boiled eggs.
Parking to accommodate our stock trailer. Comfortable bed.
Noise from highway. Loud water pipes when using shower.
The AC/Heat/Vent was very, very loud so we could not use it. Unstead, we slept with the window wide open, despite no screen on the window and very loud trucks driving by all night. We were in room #230.
The beds were very comfortable.
A smoke alarm in an adjacent room was doing the beep indicating the battery was getting low. Why do smoke alarms always do it at night/early morning instead of say 6pm in the evening, this happens at home also.
Room was clean and bed comfortable.
When we arrived they gave us a room but then we had to change the next morning because they were shampooing carpets. We stayed 4 nights and the first two we had come in around 9:30 p.m. On the 3rd night we came in around 6:45 p.m. and our room had not been made up or cleaned. This was a little frustrating.
good comfortable bed. Room clean. Mic oven and frig
The staff was nice
It was very noisy and the beds were very hard.
The couple running the Rodeway Inn at Monticello were extremely friendly and were very helpful.
The card to the handicap room was very difficult to work. It took about 6 or 7 tries.
Charming and helpful front desk staff. Excellent breakfast was included, and their brewed coffee was first class. My king room was the nicest of the 5 hotels I stayed in on my trip. Fast internet.
No complaints. It was an excellent value and a fine night's sleep.
They offered us the handicap room so we did not have to climb the stairs.
Could not get the temperature set right for comfortable sleeping
The room was clean.
The staff was I attentive. The property was unkept with trash lying around. The pool seemed not well maintained without the proper chemicals. The breakfast area was messy.
Friendly staff, rooms and equipment are clean and well equipped. Continental breakfast is quite alright.
There was plenty of parking... (red flag!)
The place reeked of insense to the point we all had headaches. We had small children and they found an RX pill on the headboard. the pillows were flat and the bed was very uncomfortable. even the floor in the room was sloped. definitely not worth the price we paid.
Location - many National Park and the Monument Valley within a 1 Day drive. Good list of breakfast items. Coffee at the breakfast only, but on my request we got coffee whenever we asked. On the third day the hotel got a transport of food and all the breakfast items were on their places. A good indoor swimming pool.
We arrived the first day of the shutdown and the staff was completely absent-minded about check-in. Next day the breakfast was very poor. We got a room at the side door - in use 24h a day and workers (they were proceeding with some geologic surveys) staying in the hotel were using the door up to midnight and from 4:30 AM)
clean and confortable great pool
Our room was dirty. There was a soiled face cloth under the table by the window and another draped over the shower curtain rod. It was obvious the carpet had not been vacuumed as there were crumbs over a large portion of the carpet by the entryway and fridge. The floor had not been swept - there were several pieces of some sort of brown wrapping on it. We needed to use the in-room fridge but the shelves were sticky. While listed as a non smoking room, our room as well as the entire second floor smelled of cigarette smoke. After a few hours in the room, our eyes stung. Lastly, the carpeting on the stairwell and the hallway had obviously not been vacuumed. There was quite a bit of soil visible throughout. There were candy pieces in the stairwell and an empty quart Gatorade type bottle left on the stairwell ledge. Breakfast was adequate. However, if one wanted waffles there was a commercial sized bag of dry waffle mix by the sink with a corner torn off. You had to mix your own batter. Having stayed in numerous hotels over the years we understand that you get what you pay for, That being said, this hotel was not the least expensive of the current 3 week trip, but was by far the worst experience we have had in all our years of travel. Unfortunately because of this experience, we will never stay in a Rodeway Inn again.
