Sloppy housekeeping, dude in office in a white t-shirt looking like we woke him from a nap, homeless people wandering through the parking lot.
parking lot was dangerous the cleaning wasn't thorough I paid a lot more than what it's really worth for the bad area
The front door was dirty, the room was very small. Motel 6 would have been better. Traffic noise was very loud and the windows were filthy.
No breakfast, homeless people
1)price 2)Owners seem to really try to keep place clean 3) Mini mart across street 5) a Couple cool diners and doughnut shop across the street
Kind off rough area and there was a ton of construction noise early in the morning due to new building being built across the street.
Front desk manager very friendly and kind.
Many homeless camping on sidewalk next to hotel. SF has very poor and unprofessional police force.
Spacey, clean room with HD TV, fridge, microwave, etc. Friendly, professional service.
Just not a good part of town, lots of homeless people and beggars, including on the premises of the motel.
The TV program
The beds are very uncomfortable
It is clean and the staff is friendly.
The lift could not work.
Friendly helpful staff. Convenient location. Nice room.
Staff was very friendly
Internet was slow
Great location if you don't mind being downtown. There is a Starbucks so close and Trader Joe's a few blocks away.
The hotel was located close to MUNI --- particularly the train. The management team at the hotel were very friendly and quick to respond to issues.
The area is a bit rough --- but people are generally friendly. It looks scary at first but people are generally harmless. Just be aware of what's going on around you when out and about.
The hotel is old, refurbished with carpets, microwave and fridge. Nice size of the room. Nice managers.
Scary neighborhood...homeless people laying on the sidewalks sleeping, or passed out. Parking is on street level, not protected from wanderers into the parking area. Two windows in the room but noise was so bad, we could not keep them open. We had the TV on at high volume the whole visit. A fight broke out in the room next door, with of screaming foul language and then slamming of two bodies against the common wall. A balcony was in front of the second floor rooms, with great danger of being thrown over, when the fight broke out. The room had two queen beds, bath and cost $150 for the one night. This included the parking garage cost. NOT WORTH IT, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU THINK YOU WILL BE SHOT...while we were on vacation.
The pillows need to be changed.
The homeless people.
Availability was good. Staff was hard working.
Location was too noisie. I could here people walking and talking through out the building from my room, it Really made it hard to get sleep.
Near to the city center and available with alll the possible tools (flatiron, hair drier, etc).
The hotel is surrounded by homeless people
Bathroom was very clean with fresh towels.
The rooms were always spotless, and the bathroom/shower facilities were new and clean with plenty of towels. There was some on-site parking, which is really rare for downtown SF. The staff were helpful and courteous. Definitely high value for the money.
I don't mind the area, but others might. It's in one of the more run-down areas of the city, but the whole area is getting better and better every year. I personally had no issues at all here. There was some noise from streetcleaners at 4 AM a few days, and the day seems to run late and start early. Didn't affect me much, but others might want some sound dampening.
Walking distance (5 mins) to the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. We were only in town to see a concert and this hotel was a great place to stay the night afterwards. It's not really fancy, or spacious, but it's good place to rest your head for a great price. The staff was friendly as well.
The parking lot very tight and the homeless people that wandered around were a bit off putting. But overall a great room for the price.
Satilite tv.comfortable bed.
Staff-front desk worker-employee wouldn't honor special request from person who wanted to pay with there card before quest arrived. Then wanted way too much for security deposit which was charged
