That is was pet friendly for a great rate.
That I was charged for a hot breakfast when they didn't have one. After I explained I paid for a hot breakfast the staff treated me like I was crazy. Booking.com had to fix it all. Once the hotel had completed the construction it will be a nice place to stay.
Smell so bad, Rooms were not appropiate for hotel , walls broken with no painting, very bad condition
The size of the suite
Broken furniture, Torn and worn furniture. carpeting pulled away from the wall and floor, floors that were not clean, TVs that did not work well, dead bugs on the room, vending machines that were broken, hallway carpet that was dirty, computer center that did not have a printer.
It's old. Really need to do some updates.
AC did not work right, beds were hard, did not have enough wash cloths or towels for second night and also they had roaches and other bugs and the phone did not work and the breakfast was awful cause it was not a good variety of food and drinks....
It was a very cheerful hotel with modern rooms. My room looked like it had been recently updated. Ashley, the lady at the front desk, was very polite and helpful! She gave us several recommendations and helpful information.
The toilet had a dark ring like it had not been cleaned in a while, the sink where you could tell that it had not been wiped off. (Evidence of a former soap bar and places where someone had spilled. ) parking is a bit of a walk from many of the rooms.
The breakfast was excellent.
The beds where horrible you couldnt sleep because they had your back hurting so bad.
bed was firm
Room was not clean and reeked of mildew. Found a note on the floor that was left from a previous tenant-how's that for housekeeping?? TV was not even hooked up!
- love the comfortable sleep and facility
- Far away, but with the price, that is fair enough
Roadway inn is in a great location It is close to shops and restaurants and not too far from Tybee. I had some issues with the first room but the staff moved me to another room and it was much better I only suggest that that upgrade their rooms with a mini fridge and microwave
The first room had an electrical issue the chair at the desk was broken and there wasn't a minute fridge or microwave
- rust in room - wierd smell of air - nois during the night Not that cheap when you compare with what you get. We spent there only one night, arrived very late, left early morning. You wouldnt consider the room clean, not even sheets on bed (we found some stains, you can just guess if it was coffee or blood...) And for 80$ for one night, never again.
no cups no ice buckets not enough towels bedspread had stains on it
The lobby was sparkling with shiny new white floors. The staff was courteous. The location is excellent for my needs in Savannah.
The room was dirty and old. The toilet lid was stained, the tub looked dirty, there was visible dirt in the bathroom corners, the carpet looked dirty. Our room was on the far side from where we were told to park, and I wondered if they were doing over some other parts of the motel and sold the oldest rooms for the bargain price.
The continental breakfast was decent.
The hotel was old and smelly. The outside was okay. Just when you get inside. The hotel need some upgrades inside.
Lack of elevator. Pushey front desk. The guy at the front desk didn't act friendly and we had to go pick up our own towels .
For the price we couldn't ask for a better place to stay especially since its so close to everything. Tybee Island is my favorite spot and wasn't a far drive at all. The only slight complaint is the continental breakfast there wasn't much to choose from. But if you aren't a breakfast eater anyways you'll be fine. Very clean!!!
The pool and breakfast was great! More than expected. Everything is what you make it. I had fun.:-)
You had to go get towels and rags, the phone didn't work. But my girls got things for us.:-)
We were on our honeymoon and needed an affordable place to stay that fit in our tiny budget. We spent around $100 for two nights and it was exactly what we needed. Everything was decent. The rooms were old but clean. All in all, it was a decent place to sleep.
The continental breakfast could have added some sort of protein ( it was just waffles, cereal, and oatmeal). If you are looking for a hotel of "luxury and leisure", then spend the extra somewhere else. If you are just wanting somewhere to sleep for a cheap price that is 5 min away from the fun, this place is great. :)
Conveniently located minutes from downtown Savannah & Tybee island and the mall is literally down the street.
The place needs new bedding asap, I don't like places whose bedding feels and looks like the stuff from a 1980 motel 6.
Location and staff was friendly
Noisy neighbors with loud radio.
Nice place and near Mall shopping.
The air circulation smells cigarette.
The beds were actually comfortable and the location was great.
It smelled like mold and bug spray. The beds were made daily but thst was the only thing touched. Had to ask for towels.
The pool area was nice
The room was dark and damp.
Service was really bad, the receptionist had bad and the cleaning staff put dirty towels on the closet, pillows were on the dresser, one of the rooms didn't have bathroom curtains. Two of the rooms didn't have microwave nor refrigerator after we had requested it several times in the booking. The manager just apologize to me but didn't Make no effort to acomodate us in another room abs he seem very anoying by us.
