Rodeway Inn & Suites Fort Lauderdale Airport / Cruise Port  

It was very close to the Ft Lauderdale Airport (less than a 10 minute drive) and was quite affordable.

There's nothing that I disliked about this hotel, but it definitely wasn't a luxury property.

The over all experience was a fantastic stay.

Location and service was very good

The young lady at the front desk (Crystal) obviously does not like her job because she made us wait a few minutes before serving us and she rattled off her ready-made speech about pets, smoking, etc. The gentleman that coordinated the shuttle service to the port said some disrespectful and vulgar remarks about the elderly that we might meet on the cruise (O2 tank tossing, wheel-chair races on deck, moaning we might hear not being sex but trouble breathing). An attempt at humour that was out of line!

It was close to the cruise ship with free transport

Staff were not trained to check people in. They gave our room to other people while we were in it. Overall neg. Experience and I would never recommend it to anyone!!!! Things too numerous to mention took place.

waited for one hour for a shuttle pick up. fridge in room was noisy and had to be unplugged. night staff was not as friendly as the morning staff.

I loved your pick up service to and from the airport and to and from the cruise terminal. Organization to do this was excellent! Check in was quick and food in the dining room was good. Having the complimentary breakfast was another plus. Selling wine to take on our cruise was a nice surprise!

From the reception area to the rooms everything was spotlessly clean and tidy

The hotel was very convenient The room was a bit run-down. The most disappointing was the staff- I overheard a man with a problem & they said pretty much that no one there was "in charge"- a bit scary!

We always enjoy our stay here. we have a timeshare in Miami, but we have to stay there at least a week before we can use it. A top selling point for us is that they have truck parking. Whenever we come to Florida for a short stay, we stay here. THANKS!

Excellent coordination when transporting to pier. Helpful staff with a lot of experience. Nice breakfast area and the gift shop girl gave us deodorant samples for free. They sell wine and other alcoholic drinks for you to take to the cruise.

Driver wasn't so nice. When we arrived to the airport we called the hotel to informed we arrived so the shuttle can come and pick us. We waited but apparently The person I spoke with gave me wrong directions as of where to wait for the shuttle. The driver called me and was mad at us for not being where we were supposed to. So he told me that he had wait and he was not going to pick us up. He was going to drop some guests at the hotel and then come back in around 20 mins. At the end he came back because the people in the shuttle told him to pick us.

Having to lug heavy bags upstairs - no elevator!

-the free shuttle service -the shuttle drivers were expremely helpful and really nice -the walk in shower was a plus

-the fact that I booked for handicap accesible and was put on the second floor -the fact that I waited for an hour for the bellboy to come to the second floor to get my lauagge after calling repeatedly and finanally having to go down to the office and speak to someone face to face

Close to airport/cruise terminal. Drivers very good and helpful. Attached 'Reef' restaurant very good. Friendly and helpful staff. Good pool and garden area.

Coffee at breakfast worst I have ever had, like colored water! No other eating facilities nearby and had to use taxi to get anywhere. Noisy air con units.

I don`t like about the treatment coming from the two girls who received me. First a girl named kara asked me for the reservations papers. As I had to take the paper from inside my pocket, she tuned your back at me. 2 seconds after I said to her I had found the reservation paper I told her I`m a 65 years old and she would not turn your back to me. In this moment the another balcony girls, a newer girl beginning to laugh. I saw with my eyas. I said to them thgat I`m a dentist in brazil for 40 years, and I had nevr treated my pacients like they are treat me. For this grade 0(zero), for these 2 girl that not know how to respect the older people. Never more I`ll reserve this rodeway. I beg the directory and staff this motel one only thing: don`t take thesse girls off, but teach them the educatioin in receive guests that are paying. They are over there behind this balcony to receive very well the people who come there to rest and need at least a smile of respect. Grade 0 (zero)

The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the most helpful. Like the location easy to get about. Close to eating houses.

The fast Internet was a bit of a joke it only worked well in the front foyer.

Clean and appreciated the Airport Shuttles.

We were billed a higher, incorrect amount.

Very friendly staff. Kept people entertained while waiting for free shuttle service provided and was outstandingly organized. Excellent food in Grille and Bar.

Close to our destinations....but very loud airport noises

Service from the port. Age and decrepit condition. No handicapped accommodations. Landscaping in poor condition. No accommodations for early travelers.

Not much......other than Freddie on the front. I hope her boss appreciates how much she covers in a day.

Location, you had better like road noise to stay here. Want to turn on the air conditioner to cover the road noise? It was even louder. This is a very run down hotel. The breakfast was a huge line up for waffles, you made yourself. We left and went for a decent breakfast. My husband said the best thing about this place was the "rodeway out".
