Hotel design, friendly doorman charge for tooth paste, shving cream, water - etc- made me feel like i was in a turkish bazar which was westernized just enough to piss me off. |

We liked the location of the hotel and the free internet services. The hotel has a good feel to it. We did not like the staff at the hotel, they were not friendly and helpful. |

Very nice room! Location was good, and doorman was very helpful when I asked about city sights, etc. Must be "growing pains," but one cannot use a Canadian debit card to pay for the room. Canadian credit and debit cards are separate cards, so I had to use either my credit card, or withdraw cash to pay for the room. Also, I cancelled the wake-up call and told front I wanted to stay another night, but that was not noted. The next night price jumped to almost 400 dollars, yikes! I can understand it was a busy weekend though. |

Charming rooms, very accommodating and helpful staff. we were twice given incorrect instructions about the mass transit system (e.g., that 96th st across the Park goes both east and west. It doesn't, only east). Of course, we asked a young woman manning the desk and perhaps we should have asked the concierge. Still, people should seem authoritative if they are not. |

The room was spacious and the bed was very big and comfortable. i liked the location as it was central but in a quiet steet. the decor was good but the hotel prices were quite expensive with a lot of hidden charges. |

The hotel staff was extremly helpful and friendly. The room was immaculate. At night the entire lobby was awash with candelite which my boyfriend and I found extrmely romantic. This is the second time we have stayed at the hotel and it will not be our last!! |

They charged us way way way more than what was agreed upon through booking.com 165 plus tax, when we booked it through booking.com it was 125 plus tax. We are extreamly upset by this, and will not use the service again. |

Kelly the lady at the check in desk, was very friendly, as was her colleague. (they both worked together, on Jan 15 in the evening. I checked in around 8:30pm. note: 'she was al ears for a 'long story'' very funny! |

The service was the hightlight of our stay. All the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. The heating system. It's loud and it doesn't work in the bathrooms. I was freezing inside the room - even when it was on. |

Good room, very good staff. Central but in a quiet position Too high deposit (100USD per nigth). No complimentary water, no kettle in the room and several items in the bathroom are extra (luckily not the essential like soap and shampoo) |

Everything, was a wonderful hotel, in an excellent location run by an excellent team of friendly but still very professional staff. They ring you within 5 minutes of entering your room to check your happy with everything, they greet you every morning with a smile, they have the friendliest door staff who are a team of security guys who open the main doors upon your entering & exiting everytime, you are literally treated like royalty here! Location, price & reviews where key when choosing this hotel & the location was spot on , (2 min walk to Empire State, 5 mins to Macys / Madison Sqr) , there are too many good things to say about this hotel, you must stay at this hotel. The bathrooms are fairly small, due to this the sink & toilet are attached to each other & the actual baths are not the usual full body size bath, I'd suggest they replaced the baths with full length showers to free up some space in the bathrooms. |
