The staff were great! Really a wonderful place to stay.

The room was a bit hot.

I liked the service and the fact that everyone called you by your name. I also liked the cleanliness of the room, the luxury linens and availability of toiletry items you may have forgotten. I liked that it was a non-smoking hotel, too. The entire staff seemed eager to help - giving directions, recommending restaurants and tending to every need. A couple of my friends came back to the hotel and we relaxed in the lobby with a couple of bottles of our own wine and no one seemed to mind. The desk attendants offered to get us glasses and make us comfortable. It was truly a wonderful, relaxing experience! I highly recommend "The Roger".

The front desk staff was excellent - very efficient and friendly. Gave good directions and suggestions for restaurants. Design was fun and interesting. LIked small size. Quiet.

Food was mediocre

Contemporary style, free internet, relaxed atmosphere, comfortable beds, good position on the map and not too noisy. I recommend it.

...The sequence of private questions they shoot on you starting from the bell boy to the front office people. Water from the tap is normally undrinkable because of ny clorine, but the distilled water bottle in your room sold at 10 $ ( 5Cents per liter is given for charity. "Smartwater" isn't it? May be too smart) does not help your digestion.

This hotel has a perfect location at Madison Ave. The beds are very comfty. They have an excellent hotel staff that are always taking care of you.

Great hotel, very professional and helpful staff, beautifully designed and decorated, good shower and comfortable bed. Location is perfect, and subway 1 block away if not into walking.

Could be isolated incident, but housekeeping does not clean thoroughly, bedsheets was dirty upon check in, bathroom was not properly cleaned and floor definitely was not hoovered. However, this was resolved very quickly once complained.

The staff was pleasant, helpful. The price was reasonable. Convenient location. The decor was modern and cheerful. The mezzanine bar had a good menu with prices that weren't bad for New York. My room was very quiet.

Bathroom was uncomfortably small, I thought charging for additional amenities in the bathroom was a bit tacky.

worst quality/price ever in New York City. 485 $/day for a very tiny room and no availability of a larger room.

The front desk staff were very kind and helpful.

The air conditioning system was very loud which made it very hard to hear the TV and get a good night rest. We notified the hotel staff and they stated that they understood the problem and would have someone fix the system but the air condition remained very noisy for our entire stay.
