Decor was nice. Staff very helpful in finding us a little but larger room.
Our first room was way too small and the bathroom was ridiculously small (corner room) bar closed early on Sunday night.
Location, quality of facility.
Staff slow to accommodate an early check in.
Staff were willing to help with any requests
Paper thin walls impacted sleep due to noise from adjoining rooms
Beautifully redesigned hotel, with great rooms despite being in a relatively tightly cramped building. Lots of stylish media and fashion executives too.
One surly staffer, and a pushy maid on my floor. But those are small comments.
Location and good bed and linens
Room lighting is just too dark
Warm staff, great breakfast, superb mid-town location, free wifi, super comfy beds
breakfast is a little expensive, unless part of a package
Good Breakfast (extra cost) Location Helpful Staff Comfortable Bed
Our room on the 3rd floor was rather dark due to trees outside, not helped by inadequate interior lighting. Poor sound insulation, interior walls seem very thin !
Superior Service, very attentive staff. They get the small things right.
Some rooms on the lower floors are very noisy with street noise due to insufficient window insulation.
Excellent spacious bedroom and bathroom Marvellous location and was able to walk everywhere in central and to south Manhattan, very close to Empire State Building Madison Avenue is a lovely road and many excellent cafes and restuarants nearby The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to make one feel comfortable We only sampled breakfast once but it was of high quality, great range of savoury and sweet foods, and very leisurely time to enjoy
Lack of cupboard space for hanging clothes for the whole week and had to ask for more clothes hangers (which were quickly provided). We had to use our suitcases for some storage of clothes during the week
The photos on the hotel website were an accurate reflection of the hotel. Cosy and inviting. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was quiet, beds comfortable and clean. And location ideal, Emire, Times Square all walkable
The only down side of the hotel was that we were informed on our last day that there was a small charge outstanding on our bill, even though the price quoted by Booking.com had already been paid. This was annoying and unessecary as it was otherwise a great hotel.
Great location, big room, free wifi, nice atmosphere...
No view, small bathroom...
Room, especially bed, interior design and feel of hotel was quite cool. Staff helpful & genuinely friendly. Perfect location in Midtown as a base for visiting all areas in Manhattan. We will book it again!
Limited seating area in foyer
Staff was personable and attentive. Room quite expansive for a NYC hotel.
Walls are paper thin and could hear my neighbor when the AC/Heating system was turned off. I think that is why the system is so loud. I understand they are working on this issue...once resolved, I will return!
comfortable bed breakfast was abundant central location just 5 minutes away from empire state
location / staff / comfort
overcharged by $390 on checkout !!
Very stylish and nice hotel with friendly staff. Our room was relatively big & stylish room. Super comfy bed. Breakfast buffet had a good quality breakfast basic. Some people might consider choice too limited. Dinner menu is also good quality.
Bathroom was modern and nice, although very small. However it's arrangement was ok enough for one person. The room was a bit too dark for my liking.
The most comfortable bed I've slept in for a while.. I didn't want to leave the room
Breakfast a joke, over priced and poor preparation, poor lighting in room, bar areas not inviting, no room service
This was the worst of the hotels I stayed at in NY. For $400 per night you are getting a tiny room and ridiculously small bathroom. On top of that the service was poor. You can get a much better deal in central Manhattan. Hidden fees are unacceptable in my view.
The location and friendly staff
A small bathroom
best value - quality relation comparing to all the other offers. trully excellent location.
no major things. a bit loud in the morning but most probably you cannot avoid it within manhattan area
Very helpful staff especially bill men all where very friendly, accommodating and extremely helpful.
I love the decor and the ambiance. It was my second time staying at the Roger and I would definitely go again.
I felt that some things should have been complimentary that weren't. There was not a full length mirror in all rooms.
group of girls travelling together- felt safe and staff service was great. in the midtown so a $10 cab to most of manhattan.
not much to do around hotel itself- requires travel or walking (other than empire state) could hear the neighbouring rooms but not as bad as other manhattan hotels!
