Nice rooms - rather spacious for NYC. Great breakfast in a nice atmosphere. Good, very central location. The free WLan was a nightmare. 9 out of 10 times you could not log in since there were already too many users registered, if you were able to log in the connection broke down after 5 minutes. I needed the conncetion to work in the room at night and this was really a big minus!

What did I not love! It was the best hotel I have ever stayed in and will be back to this exact spot when I return to New York. I have one major thing to say! The room was awesome! When I say clean, I mean clean! The bed was nice and clean and comfy as well. It had a down comforter on it and I was not expecting that. Surely made me feel like I was at home. The actual building was so clean I just couldn't believe it. After looking for weeks and being "scared" because of all the reviews I read I found this one. So happy this fell into my lap. Oh! And the location. Omg! Half a block from times square. And I don't mean a big block! You need to stay here! Def worth the money!

The staff at the room mate grace were amazing, very helpful and very attentive. The room was as it was on the website, clean with everything you need from a hotel for a long or short stay. The Location was awesome, it was on the same street as time square, we couldn't believe how close we were and the best part was at night we couldn't hear a pin drop. I couldn't recommend this place enough, everything was first class, if I was to be very picky, the gym isn't much of a gym, but when your on holidays who really wants to work out?

Location On the afternoon I arrived, there was a loud knock on my door which was then opened without my answering. There were two people at the door who barged into the room asking if I had anything in the save. They explained that the former guest had left his passport in the safe which they then opened in my presence. There were several passports, 5 to 10 in a stack. I have considered reporting this intrusion to the ny police department. I was not offered any compensation for this so I called and requested an apology and compensation and was given a free item from the store. This was unacceptable treatment of a guest in any hotel.

The location was excellent-- a few steps away from Times Square. It was clean, surprisingly quiet, dark and cool. The small room was charming and well-appointed. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful with maps, directions and suggestions for local attractions. The room was very inexpensive-- a real bargain! I have no complaints-- I'll definitely stay there again.

The beds where very comfortable and the shower was fantastic. The rooms don't really look like what they are described as. I think the only reason why our room was a deluxe room was because it had a table and chairs in. If you want to use the internet when you go away on your travels then I defiantly would not recommend this hotel. As we left our new born son at home with grand parents we had planed it out in advance that we would Skype our family so we could keep in touch. This was not possible as the internet connection was ridiculas. It kept on disconnecting and when I contacted the front desk to sort the problem they gave me a number to ring for technical help. This wasted alot of time and was very frustrating. Also it advertised a swimming pool which was right in view of the main reception where everyone could see.. It wasn't very private which is what I myself personally would have preferred. Other than that I would say it was fair...

Too expensive for what it is. Nothing " Delux" about our room! Yes there is a pool but it is small ! There is too much to see in ny so why do you need to swim in a box? Decor obviously cheap and nasty. Rooms too small.

Overall, it's a good place to stay. Less expensive than the rest & perfect location. We were able to walk to everything. The staff are very nice & helpful. The rooms are small as all are in nyc, but it works for people that are there to enjoy the city & not stay inside. Clean, no bedbugs, and the bed was very comfortable. I would stay there again. Just don't go there expecting too much. It's nothing fancy, but it works. And it has a bar/indoor pool. Noisy on Saturday nights, but again who stays in the room with Times Square just outside the door!!!

The hotel was very clean, staff was helpful and the location was excellent. The beds were very comfortable. I booked online and the room that was shown on the website is not the room we had. I understand this is a boutique hotel but there was no seating in our room. lighting was poor, the mirror on the wall was falling off.

Rooms are small but very clean and tidy. Plus the room has items important to travellers: shampoo/etc., hair dryer, larger towels, good shower, tv, bath robes, safe, and refrigerator. The location is superb and the hotel is safe with the front desk well-attended to. The hotel was fine. The bed setup is odd but understand it is a way to maximize space. Plus, I have travelled worldwide so understand this to be more typical of European hotel room. The setup may surprise some travellers but I found the room so tidy and the bed very comfortable so that more than made up for the unusual setup. We were not sure that the refrigerator worked (it was warm). Perhaps leave instructions for how to adjust the settings for the refrigerator.

I was upgraded to a delux room and it is quite spacious for one person. Very nice trendy layout and facilities in the room, free wireless internet, iHome, safe, fridge, bed is big and comfortable... just about everything I needed for a very comfortable stay. Breakfast is till 12 noon, great for sleeping in. Love the pool area. It is so quite during the day, I'd just sit around to watch the silent movie after breakfast and feeling so chilled ( It was so cold in outside when I visited ) Dont expect much of a view from the room.. the one I stayed in looked into the wall of the neighboring building, so I did not even bother to open the curtain even during the day. They are usually busy so don't expect a late checkout is possible, but they will store your luggage for you.

Quirkiness of design Waited ~25 minutes to checkout, with paid transportation waiting outside the entire time. Lobby is small and cramped. Music from club could be heard pretty clearly from third floor, but I'm a deep sleeper.

I got an amazing price from Booking.com. For that low price, I thought Grace provided a good room. The hotel & room were modern and clean and stylish. Fantastic location in the heart of Times Square. All of the staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. When I told the morning front desk manager that my tv had not been working right, he apologized and offered me a free breakfast at the hotel. I thought that was a nice gesture! If you need reliable WiFi access, don't use Room Mate Grace! Most of the time I got a "fail" message that said "too many subscribers are signed on." Then, on my second and final morning, the Internet connection completely crapped out and I couldn't get online.

All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful from front desk to cleaning crew. We felt very safe and welcomed here. Rooms were no fuss and compact but enough room for me as I spent most of the time out and about. I liked that it was only a block from Times Square. The only thing I didn't like was the construction noise outside first thing in the A.M. but that wasn't the hotel's fault. Found a better and cheaper breakfast just a couple of doors down where there are 2 deli's with breakfast food.

Really liked this boutique hotel. Front desk service was very helpful. Can't beat the location; very convenient to restaurants, times square, subway. Would like both sides of bed to have access - one side up against wall made room bigger but not convenient for the second person to get out at foot of bed.

It's location is very good. You are right in the centre and can get to everywhere in the City easily. There's a good deli only a few doors down the street. The bed was comfy. Safe was big enough to fit laptop. Fridge in room. Room were quite small. Bathroom door didnt really close properly. Air conditioner was very loud. Bed was made very loose meaning the sheets came off the bed pretty much the minute you got in. Staff not able to type correct credit card details into computer.
