Roosevelt Hotel    

The hotel was comfortable and the facilities were clean and easily used. It was unique that the shower was in a separate room from the bathroom, which I found to be convenient.

The only problem with this stay was that when using the shower the temperature would fluctuate. After setting it to a comfortable temperature it would randomly shift so that it was either freezing cold or burning hot.

Continental Breakfast was sparse and mediocre at best. A little more effort is all it would take to be make it worthwhile.

Room 2001, which was more comfortable than any hotel room I have had in years. And Jeremy at the front desk, whose was more helpful and polite than any hotel employee I have dealt with in years.

I liked everything (except the lack of sunshine!).

The central location--the rooms were very nice and clean -- the staff very helpful.

It is an older hotel so the bathroom is smaller than what some may expect but was fine for us. The breakfast was very basic and not that fresh.

It is an amazing Hotel and i can highly recommend it. The Hotel staff was super friendly... The location oft the Hotel is wonderful - shopping and dining in walking distance. The Train to the space needle only 2 Blocks away...

Seattle itself wasn't that nice. Lot's oft violence and poorness...

The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Great first impression by everyone working in the hotel!

The street/homeless people downtown. There are so many and it's very tragic. I wouldn't feel safe at night downtown alone or with women. During the day I found the young people selling memberships/asking for donations for organizations very annoying as they were on every street corner.

People at front desk were pretty responsive. Location was good; morning coffee in the lobby was nice touch.

Information about elevators scheduled to be out of service was not distributed well. No notice in room (not even phone message); no notice on each floor in elevator lobby area; no notice on check-in. Then the next day the same thing! Housekeeping did not clean room and when tried to reach them, no one answered the phone; had to complain to front desk and were told "they have gone home...." Eventually that evening someone did come to clean. Rooms are small but comfortable.

The location is brilliant. It is just beside Westlake station so you can go anywhere easily.

The room is pretty small, considering the price and the level of the hotel.

Close to the concert venue with easy taxi service and also close to the freeway and the city view was cool

The staff was friendly, room was clean, convenient to everything (incl convention center - 1/2 block),was about $100 less than surrounding hotels, had a separate living room/sitting area (not all rooms are like this, but staff let me pick the layout of my room), had to leave early and they agreed to refund balance on a "non-refundable room!

Really, nothing NOT to like. Von's (the place that others mentioned with the martini bar) had moved across town and there is no workout center (but lots of city streets to walk)!

Location in the centre of everything. Large room with sitting area. Friendly and helpful staff. Cozy lobby, internet available . Good value for money.

Bathroom a bit small. No restaurant at this time. It would be nice to have a drink in a lobby lounge environment as it is the kind of cozy lobby condusive to an end of the day glass of wine.

Location and that I can take my daughters there and have a overnight in Seattle without spending a fortune which we do not have.

I asked for a room with a view of the water. The gal said all the two queen size bed rooms were facing the city. It would be nice if you had some rooms with the two queens facing the water.

No Hot Tub/Spa or Restaurant. Vons closed shop a week before I arrived, I was told. Parking could come down a tad bit.

This hotel is in a great location. It is located in the heart of down town Seattle. Great shopping and dinning all within walking distance.

Great location for most all downtown Seattle activities. Shopping, Theater, Pike's Place Market, restaurants,waterfront.

Expensive parking, needs a small refrigerator in room and microwave
