Quiet place to stay, 08 miles from the convention center, clean
The heaters were very noisy Need to renovate the bathroom and the room, they were mold around the bathtub not really great if i may say... Too pricey for $175 and the internet connection did not work well..
Parking is close to room.
The facility is in dire need of repair; weeds and dead plants on my balcony, spider webs in bathroom and closet, holes in the wall where pictures once hanged. Breakfast was only breads, dry cereal, and canned peaches in syrup - the staff's response was "it's free." Never, ever again.
Clean sheets and towels
Stains on walls and carpet in our room. The walkways outside had not been cleaned in weeks.
It was available.
Bathroom had numerous problems. Floor needed to be sealed, door frame was rotted out at the bottom edges. Rust was on front edges of tub. Toilet was very small, comfort toilet would be better. Beds were way to small for two people to sleep comfortably.
Location to palace for trade show
Just gross n to expensive
Walkable to convention center
Rundown and dirty rooms. Dryer sheets stuffed in the vents to cover smells.
It was relatively quiet as well as being near the areas we wanted to visit.
The overall conditions of the hotel were very poor. Ripped carpets, the window in our room had a gaping hole in a few of the panes, the bathtub drain constantly backed up when the shower was used, and breakfast room was a mess.
Clean, comfortable. Continental breakfast great
Little noisy. Needs some TLC
Almost everything-horrible breakfast, horrible room and expensive. Staff couldn't be more bored.
This tired property needs to be razed. It is nothing like the picture--very run down and old. Beware.
I loved the location and everything that was included
Our room was stripped down. No TV listings, no information booklet in the room. Burned out lightbulb, clock not working, flickering light on table. Only one blanket on our bed. There was dried dripping below the sink on the soffit. The manager did go to examine it at checkout after I described it to him. They did reduce the bill for us and were polite when I shared our concerns. We would not stay here again.
This place was good for the inexpensive cost. It is nothing luxurious but the room was clean & comfortable. Breakfast was ok - but it was free so no complaints. Location is excellent & we walked almost everywhere in downtown SLC. The hotel was dog friendly. We would stay here again.
The outside was not great - run down & not clean.
The bathroom door would not close the WIFI wouldnt work the room phone didnt work and when i tried using my DVD player the man changed something and then it stopped working
Overall everything meets your expectations and the wifi there is perfect. Good location too. And it has free shuttle to airport or nearby area too
Bad breakfast, broken security door to the rooms, need a better logo to show the location of it..
Close to brewvies
The staff was rude
There was blood splatter on the wall behind the toilet, the box spring on one of the beds had a huge hole in it, the bed itself was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on. Also, all the outlets were so loose that every one of them I tried to plug my phone into so I could charge it, the charger would just fall out of the wall. The TV would make a horrible sound and get streaks across it every so often. The blood on the wall was the worst part for me. I didn't feel like the room was clean because of that. ):
Good Shower--i.e. water flow Cost
Daily police patrols. Panhandlers. Did not feel safe among other guests.
The location is perfect. Close to every l need.
Good location. Within walking distance to Salt Palace Convention Center. We were put in very quiet location in a secure nonsmoking building. Staff was courteous. Appreciated the 2 separate sink and vanity areas. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Thick, absorbent bath towels. Good housekeeping. Hot breakfast available at 6 a.m. Price point was the best in the area.
Tired, worn furnishings. Stains on upholstery and blackout drapes, loose arm rests on chairs.
Close enough to the center. Included breakfast (not the best, but also not the worst).
Room was not very clean - we could find trash in the corners.
They offered free breakfast
I didn't like anything about the staff they were rude and made me leave because they says I had to many people visiting me at my room!!!!
The check-in staff was excellent and very courteous. For a terrible room bed was very comfortable.
Hallway carpet to room was filthy with all kinds of stains and had terrible smells. There was a large area of black looking mold under the sink. The shear drape was ripped from top to bottom. Bathtub also had mold in the corners. We slept with clothes and socks on as carpet in room same condition of halls. The room smelled terrible. Had we been able to find another in the short timeframe we were there we would have. Unfortunately our business event did not allow us the time to move.
We liked the cleanliness, location, comfort, and the breakfast. The staff was knowledgeable and courteous. It was a pleasant stay and we would certainly stay at this motel again.
Rooms run down stained. Carpets
