Staff gave good advice and one of the staff even moved his personal car so I could have his parking place for the nite.
Staff was very accommodating. Very helpful in setting up transportation and recommendations for dinner and sights. We loved the charm of the historic Hotel.
Great hotel / Super hotel
But be careful: there's a room on the first floor whose windows open directly onto Royal St.! You can't open the blinds obvisouly and it's very noisy Il faut éviter absolument la chambre au rez-de-chaussée qui donne directement sur la rue Royale, très animée.
The staff, the room and the location were great and the room was very reasonably priced.
The door to the room was a small challenge.
The location was nice and central, real close by everything. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. Always fresh coffee for free.
Would have loved a table to sit by for breakfast.
Historic setting with lovely upgrades appropriate for the setting.
Staff was fabulous! Give Eric a raise! He is an outstanding person who made us comfortable, answered out questions like a friend, always had an easy smile, no matter the hour
It was all great
Centrally and close to Bourbon street - Coffee corner across the street
- Wifi not secure - Bedroom is sloping, head is down causing nausea - Breakfast is not good
The staff was fantastic, always providing great dining suggestions, being very communicative and available immediately after we locked our keys in the room.
I liked that it was in the quaters but it was way to small.
Size of room to small
The hotel is located in middle of the French district. On walking distance of Frenchmen street / the Mississippi.
The rooms marked as small, are indeed very small. Some even lack a window.
This hotel is in the heart of the French Quarter. Nice hotel typical of the French Quarter.
Very close to everything. Only a few blocks to Frenchmen's St where the Jazz Clubs are. This hotel is in the French Quarter.
Staff was excellent, very helpful.
It's a bit of a maze to get to your room. Which can be difficult after a night on Bourbon Street.
Location, Staff, comfort
Cozy, intimate, peaceful room. Located walking distance to anything in French Quarter. Good value
Great hotel, very good location. Everything walking distance.
Easy to walk to everything. Royal street is most interesting shopping.
Always a great place to stay!!
Our room was not available at check in time. I will still come back!!!!
Everyone was nice and pleasant
The Staff, especially Justin. Everyone bent over backwards to ensure that we were happy.
Your advertisement of the property did not mention the fact that there was no elevator. If I missed it, shame on me! If you didn't mention it, shame on you! We are senior citizens and do fair well with stairs.
The location was perfect! The building was gorgeous. The staff was very outgoing!
The delux bedroom was super small! There was no room to move. You literally opened the door and the bed was there. The bathroom was horrible! I've never showered in such a small tub before. The website said it was going to be a marble tub and it def was not!
The staff at this hotel was absolutely amazing. I have worked in many hotels across the nation, and front check-in to check-out, every staff member was friendly, helpful and courteous. The location of The Hotel Royal was also perfect! Off Bourbon enough to be quiet in the evenings, but close enough to the best parts of the Quarter-day and night. Being able walk to Frenchmen St was a highlight, since that is where I spend most of my New Olreans evenings. I will certainly stay at the Hotel royal again and again!
The brick wall in the room made the wifi signal a little weak, but I wasn't traveling on business so it was ok for me.
Balcony, view, location
Had an exceptional Hotel Clerk. Every request was met with a smile and prompt compliance! His name was Justin. The entire Hotel was quaint and had an Old World look.
Would have liked an elevator (just for the luggage).
