Our room had a lot of street noise though the night.
Nice clean room.
I like how it's in the center of Chinatown, 15-20 min walk from fishermans's warf, and free parking.
Hotel a little tired especially in shared areas. No facilities outside of room.
On edge of Chinatown, so lively and plenty of great food. Short walk to cablecar stop, so easy to get around. Great view from balcony of bay bridge and skyscraper skyline.
Very old decorations
Free parking + location The owner was very nice
They did not accept our MasterCard although it is a well recognised card. They wanted cash. Fortunately we had the cash on us.
The convenience. Staff were obliging.
Close enough to walk to ATT Park, security walked the parking lot .
This is a real centralized hotel. Walking distance to so many places of interest.
No in house breakfast. Noisy street from traffic in the middle of the night
Good location for Chinatown and down town San Francisco
on the first or second floor were a few flies
Was close to lots of places....parking was good
Kind of noisy because of location but not too bad
Free parking, secure building, friendly staff
upon arriving, we noticed tornados of flies swarming around in each corner of the hallway. Walking into our room, we were hit with a very musty stench... a few light bulbs were burned out and wifi did not have connection in our room.
location...free parking in the heart of SF
Facilities are dated but still adequate. Didn't try Wi Fi as we were out and about. Would've liked an ironing board and iron in room. Not sure if they had at front desk. ?
Great central base for exploring all tourist locations. We were able to walk to anything we wanted to do. Free parking was awesome and their staff was very helpful. Parking guy was exceptionally nice.
The wifi was poor and the overall building needs a renovation. The rooms are okay though. Yet the only window was hard to open and very loosely atteached to the frame. We stayed on the fifth floor facing the main street. During the night the noise was incredible. Sirens, shouting and fighting drunks, car alarms and so on. Sleep was almost impossible. Even with shut window on the 5th floor it felt the street is right next to the bed. A room on the backside might be much better.
We were able to check in very early around 11 am instead of 3 pm and got upgraded to a king size room. Also it was possible to check out in a flexible manner keeping the keys and returning them in the afternoon and keeping the parking spot as well.
Old fashioned TV, WIFI didn't work (at least not the internet portion) No bath, just a shower; no big deal :)
Wifi was very unstable, I almost cannot get the connection all the time. Even in the lobby, the signal was very poor. The price is very high for the hotel like this.
Location close to Chinatown.
Bedbugs! Noise. Smelly rooms.
Location, helpful staff, free parking.
Quality of the place is pretty low, but manageable if you want to just crash somewhere and have a shower.
Location, place was clean
Room was beat up, wall paper peeling, mold in the bathroom, broken fan in the closet if you got hot, maybe a 20 inch tube tv and a shower I could not stand up straight in. Had people screaming all night right outside our door and someone tried to push our door in at one point. Traveling with my daughter I did not sleep the rest of the night. Looking at the other reviews and the price I would have thought it would have been better. Will not stay here again.
It was in a convenient location
Free parking and location. Easy access to all of San Francisco's main attractions.
Staff were very unacommadating upon our arrival, no free breakfast as stated on booking.com??? Had to pay a deposit and full price upfront in cash??? If you can find another hotel in same location do it!!
It's soooo loud! Most rooms open up to the parking lot with cars hunking and too much noise to be acceptable
Good location in the heart of Chinatown
Within walking distance to wharf, China town, evening events...
The dirty carpet was threadbare and had a hole at the bathroom transition. I also didn't like the $179 price tag for a room that didn't have AC on an 80 degree day.
I liked the location in Chinatown , and was on the back side of the building on the 4th floor, so didn't experience street noise except when we went outside. It was very convenient to step out and get all kinds of food, and the free parking was a plus.
