Just a 5-minute walk to Union Square Park, this luxurious hotel blends San Francisco Victorian décor with modern amenities like free Wi-Fi in all rooms.

Old fashioned TV, WIFI didn't work (at least not the internet portion) No bath, just a shower; no big deal :)
Location close to Chinatown.
Wifi was very unstable, I almost cannot get the connection all the time. Even in the lobby, the signal was very poor. The price is very high for the hotel like this.
Location, helpful staff, free parking.
Bedbugs! Noise. Smelly rooms.
Location, place was clean
Quality of the place is pretty low, but manageable if you want to just crash somewhere and have a shower.
It was in a convenient location
Room was beat up, wall paper peeling, mold in the bathroom, broken fan in the closet if you got hot, maybe a 20 inch tube tv and a shower I could not stand up straight in. Had people screaming all night right outside our door and someone tried to push our door in at one point. Traveling with my daughter I did not sleep the rest of the night. Looking at the other reviews and the price I would have thought it would have been better. Will not stay here again.
Free parking and location. Easy access to all of San Francisco's main attractions.
Staff were very unacommadating upon our arrival, no free breakfast as stated on booking.com??? Had to pay a deposit and full price upfront in cash??? If you can find another hotel in same location do it!!
Good location in the heart of Chinatown
It's soooo loud! Most rooms open up to the parking lot with cars hunking and too much noise to be acceptable
Within walking distance to wharf, China town, evening events...
I liked the location in Chinatown , and was on the back side of the building on the 4th floor, so didn't experience street noise except when we went outside. It was very convenient to step out and get all kinds of food, and the free parking was a plus.
The dirty carpet was threadbare and had a hole at the bathroom transition. I also didn't like the $179 price tag for a room that didn't have AC on an 80 degree day.
The hotel has gotten run down. It needs a new remodeling job. There were a lot of flies near the trash chute during the day. The front desk refused to call a cab for me to take to the pier.
GREAT LOCATION, CLEAN, VERY FRIENDLY
The rooms were nicely appointed for a bargain price, the location was convenient to our conference, the staff was friendly, and the onsite free parking was a blessing. The parking lot attendant at the public parking lot next door was really cool too.
2am we were woken by a woman's screams, a car hit something, I saw a man lying unconscious in the middle of the parking lot. Arms and legs in weird positions, he had been chased him from across the street, a huge knife was nearby. In the morning we were greeted by many chickens squawking as their heads were cut off and they were plucked at the restaurant behind us. Welcome to Chinatown!
Very poor wifi.
Walk right out to Broadway and you're in Chinatown!Stockton is half a block to your left.
The street noise was obnoxiously loud when trying ro sleep. Required my Mack's earplugs for decent night's sleep.
Great location & very clean.
Great location with FREE parking. We used the 30 & 45 busses exclusively to visit our kids near AT&T Stadium. 75 cents for Seniors to ride the bus. There is a bakery two doors down where we bought a goody to end each day.
Found a syringe with something in it in our closet! No compensation, disgusting.
Excellent location next to Chinatown with many good reastaurants nearby.
The area is kind of noisy, difficult to get good sleep at night.
We just left the car there and go walking or using buses and cable cars to go everywhere, the street is safe. We were in the 5th floor and we had very heavy luggages so we appreciated that it has an elevator!!!
The building is old, maybe it needs some renovations. A little bit expensive for what it is comparatively to the rest of our trip around California but in San Francisco it was one of the cheapest, so it is not that bad...
Location and security, free parking. It was fine, just a motel for a night that was clean and reasonably priced.
Price and reasonable location. Free Parking.
Very old building that is in need of maintenance.
Clean room for the price. Very quiet at nice and had a security guard.
Pretty run down.
The overall service
I loved the staff and how they tend to your needs, and the location is minutes from everything.
There was nothing I didn't like.
