king sized room was spacious, bathroom was nice and clean, nice living room space, loved being in the lobby next to the parking area for quick in and out to go explore SF!
would be nice to trade a little space for a small closet with hangers. also, would like the iron/board to be in the room instead of in the common area.
The only thing was you really need to have is new pillows for the beds. That would make our stay perfect.
provide free parking
No security guard around the building
No refrigerator in room unless you pay extra
The free parking was a plus in a good downtown location. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Beautiful view of Coit Tower lit at night.
The noise from the street was almost unbearable. We needed ear plugs just to get some sleep.
location near chinatown was okey
Very noicy from outside street Thick tv - old Dirty Near red light district
The room was cozy and comfortable. Free parking and excellent location. The owners were helpful and friendly. Nice eateries just around the corner.
Flat pillow. But I puff it up with my jacket so its ok:)) The beds are comfortable.
The area is perfect, walking distance to China town, little Italy and 1 mile from the Pier.
Even though you don't stay much in room there is details in room that need updating. Beds were pretty rough.
good location and complimentary newspaper
Great view of Coit Tower on street side. Very convenient to grab cheap breakfast pastries at the Chinatown bakeries and go.
Street side is noisy and fire trucks go down Broadway. For families, location is near strip clubs but can be avoided.
I liked the location. The hotel had everything we needed. We stayed with our children and there was lots of room. The bathroom was good and it was clean and tidy.
good location, if you are looking for a place only to sleep and take a shower this is the one, you are close to all the stores, bars and restaurants. I will go again next time i have to go to SF
Good dining close by. Easy walking to the wharves or transport.
Expensive compared to other places in USA. But thats San Francisco.
Nice staff Parking lot Columbus Ave nearby
Rooms could do with a makeover Surroundings not very clean Some rooms noisy
You can't beat the location. Centrally located, within walking distance to Union Square, fisherman's wharf, and Coit Tower.
On a very busy street, i heard large trucks going by and sirens all night! No air conditioning and you can't open the very small window because of all the noise. Room gets very stuffy. Dirty carpet, wouldn't dare walk barefoot. Bad cable tv, I got about10 channels. Spotty wifi.
We booked a king sized room. Check in was quick, the staff was very friendly, very helpful. The bed was comfy, everything in our room worked. My girlfriend and I intended to walk around the piers and fisherman's warf and this place made it very easy. They had broshures outside the elevator and the location is perfect, whether you're driving or walking. AT&T Park isn't too far either. During check in, the gentleman asked where I'd like my room (facing the street, away from the street, etc). My girlfriend and I love the sound of the street, so we didn't have any problems! Lastly, there was a lovely heating lamp in the bathroom, great for getting out if the shower.
The ice machine charges you a quarter, which is fine but I was pretty surprised. I brought my Xbox to watch Netflix on but the tube tv (so only AV Output) didn't allow me to change inputs. No microwave or fridge in the regular king room, so I assume none others but it's stated in the description. For a king sized bed, only three pillows were on the bed. Again, we didn't mind but just be aware.
Everything was fine. Perfect position to explore the city, located between Chinatown and North beach/Little Italy. The room was clean and the staff was nice.
Room was much cleaner than the outside of the building would lead you to believe. Comfortable beds, lots of pillows and decent water pressure. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. Walking distance to Union Square area.
My room did not include a mini-fridge or microwave, not sure if it's even an option. I rated it low for value because I came during Dreamforce '14 when the prices were jacked higher than normal.
Came into town for a few days and wanted to stay where the action is. For a very little, Royal Pacific is good. Close to much of the bars and nightlife in the italian district and chinatown. Definitely take advantage of this again.
Not many complaints. Felt the negatives of the hotel were unjust by other reviewers. Know what you pay for.
The location was nice, in the heart of China town, close to restaurants and other downtown attractions.
The Wi-fi was very bad, barely worked. Do not expect to be able to work from your room. While the staff was polite, they did not give receipt for accomodation as I needed it to be. If you are going to book the shuttle for the airport, expect to be there in 45 min.
Convenient to shops and fishermans wharf
Poor wifi connection too noisy at night and premises and surroundings were dirty.
This motel was conveniently located and a bargain price that included free parking which is impossible to find this close to downtown. It was clean, comfortable and reception was welcoming.
It's a bit outdated and nothing fancy but it's clean and comfortable
Convenient to walk to Fisherman's Wharf area or Union Square. Good restaurants close by in Chinatown. Also handy for buses. Overall a good central position
Wifi was not very good. Only worked sometimes. Coffee machine in room but unable to provide a kettle to make tea. No fridge in room either but supposedly available on request although we did not ask. No air-con but there was a fan in the room.
Chine town is the place to see its very busy but it is central to every where you need to see .
If you stay at this hotel try to get a room at the back of hotel as china town wakes up VERY early
