Close to places we wan td to visit
Location, parking, cleanliness
No flat screen tv
The layout of the bathroom with the sink in the main room (no door), the hotel was like a 1960s tower block and very run down, carpet in the room which looked dirty, mouldy net curtains. The staff were not very friendly. Only one small blanket. TV was small and outdated and could only get a few channels.
Excellent location, close to many eating places, markets, clubs. Pier 39 and Union Square are within walking distance.
Room was quite small. Limited tv channels.
Not a pleasant view.
It was 10 minutes away from the AT&T Park Satdium & easy drive getting there...
We booked for 3 nights to do some sightseeing, we wanted a hotel in a good location, Royal Pacific was perfect. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
We were initially given a room at the front of the hotel, but Broadway is a busy road and suffers from heavy traffic most of the night. We asked to be moved and were given a room away from the front, and away from the traffic noise, many thanks to the staff.
Location, parking free
Wifi slow, noisy, not good smell in room, expensive
Great location - nice walk to the Warf & Union Square. The staff were helpful when booking tours and trips. The room was clean and the beds were really comfy. We had a lovely stay in the Royal Pacific and would recommend the hotel.
The hotel is a bit dated looking but don't let that put you off!
Perfect location between Chinatown and North Beach. Free parking. Rooms are OK.
Wifi sluggish at times.
Location and parking
Time to renovate
Great location right in the heart of Chinatown. Helpful staff. Comfy bed, secure location. No fridge in room, but they are available if you ask. Secure parking the entire three days that we were there. Would return there again for sure!
Coffee was not good
Good place to stay for the price. Staff is very nice. Place is clean for an older hotel. Can't beat the price of parking.... FREE!!
The hotel is very close to Chinatown and only a couple of blocks from the cable car lines. Free parking!
Very old and not many updates, but clean.
Location, comfortable bed. Quiet, however could have been noisy at the front!
Noisy aircon, no fridge.
it not a clean place.
Location between Chinatown and North Beach Italian neighborhood. 10 minute walk to Union Square. Free parking. Could even leave the car there several hours after checkout time.
- Free parking - Clean bathroom
- Noise from the street. We booked the room 3 months ahead asking for a quiet room (which they have - facing from the street). And we got the worst room possible - second floor directly above the street. They just ignored our requet. Using ear plugs was the only option how to get some sleep (I never used them, don't need anywhere during my travels). - Noise from other rooms. Room next to us was just behind some strange door so we heart every word.
Proximity to Beach Blanket Babylon and the North Beach restaurants
They charge for ice in the ice machine!
It was a 20-25 minute walk from Pier 39.
It's too expensive for what we got. The room was fairly clean, but didn't feel truly clean. The sheets didn't feel clean. nothing smelled freshly clean. And yes, the shower had a bit of mold. you have to pay for ice. The walls are so thin, you could clearly hear others laughing. It's a very busy street, so we heard trucks all night. Our room didn't have AC, had to open a 12 x 12 in window for fresh air. And no continental breakfast. :(
Good location and comfortable bed
No Wi-Fi in the room
it was quitter than I would have believed being right on the street.
Everything was fine.
It is located in chinatown and has many things to visit. "Chinatown very aafe to walk" says the clerk. And its true.
The parking is good but cramped and a little inconvenient.
