If you need Union Station as transportation hub, this hotel is a good choice. And restaurants with yummy food are in walking distance.
If you have a room to the back street it can get a bit noisy.
first night was very noisy, had bad sleep,
20mins walk to union staion, just in china town, resturants around the area.
I saw cockroach in the room, very disgusting.
Always a pleasure speaking with their staff. Helpful and very kind. I'll visit again!
Street noise from pavement being worked on by city crews. Not the fault of motel.
It was amazing!
Comfortable and central location.
Restaurant recommended was terrible. Food awful and overpriced.
Decor and neighborhood was great. Lots of places to see and eat on foot around there. Liked staying in a room that was not run of the mill.
I didn't like driving my dad's truck and trying to get parking. The workers were very helpful in accommodating us.
Location of the hotel is walking distance to Union Station where enable me to travel without hazard of driving in the big city. My room has a fridge too.
Room smells funny, don't know how to get rid of it.
I liked that this place was clean. The bathroom was kind of small, but the shower was so quiet, so I didn't wake up my boyfriend in the morning. I also like the hardwood floors and the walk-in closet. And there were succulents everywhere. When we checked in the guy at the front desk said that there were two rooms left with king sized beds, he let us pick the room that we liked best. There was also a fridge in the room and a microwave downstairs. And there was a great Chinese bakery down the street that has the most delicious caramel covered cream puffs. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.
The parking lot is small. It was a little on the pricey side, $285 for three nights.
The Facility was really clean and simple. I felt that the pricing was good especially for it being a holiday. I appreciate them being pet friendly and glad they welcomed my furry children. The staff was absolutely friendly and helpful, not a one was rude. We had laminate flooring in our room which makes it convenient for my pets. They are also located in town which was convenient for us because we were able to walk downtown for dinner and back as well as to the little bakery shop for dessert or just a nice late walk with the dogs.
The Facility is located at the intersection of two fairly busy streets so if you open your room window you hear traffic all day or night. The beds were a little small in size and a little stiff(Hard). The only other con is parking, it's really small and tight but they do accommodate you in any way possible.
Cleanliness. Close location to Chinatown, Little Tokyo and downtown LA but that's pretty much it. Reliable quality.
Location. Bathrooms can be renovated. New towels please.
The front desk guy was really nice and accommodating. The building looks clean and we liked the decorations. Although it doesn't look like it at first there here was plenty of parking. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. It's in a really good location.
Although it says it's a smoke free hotel we could smell people smoking. There was a shower cap that someone had covered the smoke alarm. We guessed that it must have been the person who rented the room before us.
The staff was the best
Beautiful clean room, friendly helpful staff!
Staff is awesome.
This is the fourth or fifth time I have stayed at this property. It is clean, quiet, friendly and a great location! I travel a good deal and this hotel has been upgraded and done the best it can to keep up with other hotels in the area. For the money, it is outstanding!
The front desk is closed at night. there is no ice machine. So, if you need ice, make sure you get it from the front desk before it closes for the night.
I liked the fridge in each room & the parking. About 6 or 7 blocks from Union Station.
The room was infested with roaches. I didn't see any until I brought in food. It took only seconds in broad daylight until they were crawling on my food. There were many of them small & large. They lingered after I removed the food:( That's a pretty serious infestation!
The motel is located at china town, good quiet area, close to down town L.A. The room was very clean with a tv, towels, king size bed, fridge. The guy at the reception was very helpfull, always smiled, cool guy!!!:))) There is a parking a the motel. Price is excellent, recomended!!!
It is quiet. and clean.
The owner needs to have one smoking area away from AC Units...it draws in nasty smoke from the smokers all hanging around. Keep smokers away from all windows/ac units.
Amazing value, especially being so close to downtown la. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Location just outside of downtown la.
Location was very convenient, very friendly staff
Hardwood floors were extremely dirty white socks and feet were black after walking around
Room size was great with a big wardrobe area to hang clothes. Good TV.
Shower controller was backwards so I thought there was no hot water - layer found out hot meant cold and cold meant hot. Free Wifi was terrible but once I requested their password protected Wifi that worked heaps better. Location is not close to anything if using public transport.
It's worth for the money. Clean, good location. Only one I can say is very good and if I come to L.A. again I will stay here. The big room, comfort bed, clean bathroom and good signal of wifi.
