Poor condition property
I enjoyed my time at this hotel and look forward to returning.the staff is nice and the location is great especailly at night.
My shower was cut short due to a problem with the pipes and when i turned it back on a hour or two later brown water ran for a min or two.also the room was neat and clean except for random names scratched into the mirror and headboard.
, room was smelling really bad.i could not sleep. if you dont have to stay that hotel, dont stay. try to find another one. this hotel was disgusting.and at night somebody knocked my door. it was thrilling.
service and affordable price
There is old man Chinese at the reception disk very rude and yeiling at people when asking him and very anxious all the time The other 2 young workers at reception young man and young woman are very nice and helpful
the title says it all
I loved that the rooms were really clean they had a nice tv with cable and a mini fridge that worked and a bathroom that was really clean
Neat, clean, free parking, location
Close to dodger stadium day front desk was good. Rest of staff and property was awful
Location (middle of chinatown, walking distance to downtown and metro). Good value for mony. Good setvice. Free parking.
The rooms are bit crowded. The walls are thin so lots noise from parking lot.
The hotel was nicely appointed nice Chinese style decor. Very basic. Very friendly old man checked me in. Cheerful young man checked me out. Great central location and excellent value. Good internet.
The bathroom could have been cleaned and freshened more thoroughly. Found a hair in the sink. The room itself was clean.
Front desk was impolite. He didn't speak much English and we couldn't understand him. Had a bad experience.
Smelly, poor equipment. Except that everything is okay.
Great value for money motel in downtown LA. Nice tpuch to the motel. Free parking.
coffee was good
the room was small, no carpet, the motel has a bit weird atmosphere (we're Chinese, I've no idea if Americans like it or not)
The price is very cheap but the place is quite clean and comfortable. If you are on backpacking travel or want to save money, this is the right choice.
Location, price, privacy, day manager very polite and cool. Nite manager so/so.
Night manager demanding, and rude, at least to me.
My son was sick and requested late check-out, but was refused.
the old man at the front desk was a little ill mannered
This was in a perfect location for my specific needs, and it was a good location as a base for sightseeing all over LA. The free parking was very convenient. The room was clean and spacious and met my needs very well - really liked having a refrigerator in the room! I also very much appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee. Most of all, the staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. One young man even helped me plot a course for sightseeing and made recommendations for places to eat and things to see and do. I would definitely stay at Royal Pagoda again, and would recommend it to others looking for a well-kept facility, convenient location, and good value for the price.
I didn't find anything objectionable about this motel at all. It met all of my needs, especially for the price, and the location was very convenient for me.
Location, big rooms and clean
There was a group of people in their early twenties having a party in a room. They were going outside the rooms, yelling, slamming the doors, drinking alcohol in the hallway and with the music very loud and the motel management was unable to do anything. I had to face five guys twice to tell them to shut up at almost 3 am. I couldn't sleep at all. The following day I asked for a complaint form and they didn't give any.
Olny front desk lady was nice to us, asked us need ice and hot water,
First of all, if you book this place,I will say there's too noisy in the night, you can't sleep. Second, there's too hot in the room, even you turn on the air condition. And also the room has a lot of peculiar smell! The last one is the biggest problem! There has bedbugs, my parents and I had been bitten! Terrible !
The morning staff were fantastic. Friendly, helpful directed ne to THE bakery I was looking for out the many and great suggestions for food.
The night gentleman was a bit loud, rude, in a hurry and disrespectful to someone on the phone with two guests (I was one) standing at the counter. And not helpful with my questions. Total Night and Day difference.
