Staff was kind and approachable at all times to talk too.Wi-Fi system work well. Clean and comfort beds every night with great service from the housekeepers. Location was good as it was very close to a City bus, Subway station and a 7Eleven corner store.
Did not like the fact and idea of shared bathrooms. Wish they had a free phone at the desk to call back home instead of having to buy a phone card and using a payphone in order to make long-distance calls. Wish i had 1 room the whole stay and not have to switch and pay extra for another room.
The location is really good. A nice hostel to stay with a couple of friends for 4-5 days
A few rooms are looking bigger on the pictures than it actually is.
The hotel was very clean and quiet.
They could use more than one bathroom per floor. Maybe an extra toilet room. The toilet and shower are in the same room. Maybe they could be seperate.
For the price we pay to stay in NYC of course is good.
Waiting for hot water.
The location is very convenient
Its too expensive for the quality of facilities they have
- location is moreless ok
- do not believe in photos, the real situation and conditions are really worse! - really dirty - no conditioner - no bath in room - bugs at the restroom - value vs money - we asked to call a taxi to nearby town where we ordered a car at Avis - it was late by 40 minutes and it was not an official taxi, but some their folk plus the price was more than usual (75 usd, while it should be not more than 50)
room photos shown are good, but the room given to us was not the same as the photo I saw
2 min walk from 96th station (subway 1,2,3) 10 min away in subway from times square 10 min walk from Central Park Clean room, really nice staff
Close to subway and museums. Can save money by parking on the street if you decipher the street signs.
10 Cockroaches in one day, bedding unchanged, toilet dirty and usually shared no matter what they offer at reservation site, no towels, no light in a room, no working sockets, bugs in bed and roaches on walls in blankets, 10 year uncleaned windows, I can keep going forewer. Extra charge 10$ per bag for leaving your stuff during a day at the day check out When you check in the smell of dirt coming from oustside the hotel you just do not want to get , but if you finally come you find they said your reserevation did not go through and you have to pay extra if you want to go ahead. But all these fraudulent tricks look really colorless on the background of the collapsing room quality. I can just say stay away. I can only say , I would not let even my dog stay in such waste bin which even is good word for this hole
Close to metro stop. Easy to get to anything on the west side.
Shared bathroom was ok not the greatest not the worst. Charge for leaving bags with them in the morning.
Location: 5 minutes from Subway Line 1, 10 minutes from Central Park, variety of restaurants in the area
Rooms looked nothing like the pics on Booking.com. We complained and they gave us a slightly bigger room, but still just big enough to open the suitcases. Closet was a joke. Elevator was old, slow, and actually a cargo elevator (notice inside saying it was not fit for people).
The location and the wifi
Every thing from the moment I inter this place is baaaaaaaaaaaaaad Smel bad - no electric - the elevator stop working with people inside and the fire deprt open it - waiting more than 4 hours until they find another room for me if there is another word more the baaaaaad I will say it
location was great staff tried to be helpful
Grungy appearance..not kept up or clean No water/cups/ice/shampoo/soap Electricity went out once Bathrooms horribly dirty and small I did not even want to brush my teeth or shower in them...used bathroom facilities at nearby restaurants instead
The bed for me was the best thing. I was absolutely comfortable when I slept at the hotel. The staff was great. I came into NYC and my room wasn't ready. But it was exactly ready at 3.
The wifi. It said it was free but I needed a log in. I wasn't in my room long enough to care. Also only 5 tv channels. And all random. Would appreciate at least espn and potentially a movie channel option.
Too many bedbugs, wifi often requested authorization
No cable service in our room, community shower never had hot water, and water would frequently stop. Tiny elevator is actually a freight elevator. Incredibly loud floors squeak, creak, and pop when walked on (I weigh 157lbs). Cockroaches.
Staff were very friendly and helpful Reasonably cheap by New York/Manhattan standards Location was good, near the subway and close to many good shops and restaurants
Our room (double bed, private bathroom) lacked some basic facilities (such as chair, desk, ...) Still expensive when compared to any other city
The rate per night was good :)
Staff was friendly & helpful.
Hotel was hot, smelled of urine, water pressure in shower was bad, roaches in room.
Very close to the metro station, rooms are clean, and shared bathroom as well. Very nice staff
Cockroaches in the room!!!!! Very small rooms, nothing to do with photos...
location and facilities as subway - bus - security and so on
nothing to report
Was pretty good location. Beds were nice.
Only pbs on TV. Left do not disturb on door, but maids still entered room. Shared bath was flooded most of the time.
