If you are a budget traveller and don't care so much about the hotel and its facilities, then this if for you. Clean rooms. Relatively quiet. Good location, shops and cafes and an awesome diner just down the road. You share the bathroom, which was fine, never really too busy and it was quite clean. You can leave your luggage for the day, costs 2 dollars per large bag (free for small hand luggage) on the day you leave.
The smallest room with a double bed that you can imagine (so small you have to unpack your luggage into the 2 drawers (no wardrobe to hang stuff up in) so that you can then stash your luggage on one side of the bed so that you have any room to move about in the room, leaving one side of the bed free. Poor wifi connection (sometimes no connection at all). There is a TV, but it only has TV-shopping channels, or channels in Spanish. We had a water pipe going through one side of the room, and as it was really cold outside the pipe was boiling, making the room REALLY warm. The pipe is also right next to the headboard of the bed, making one side of the bed really warm. Also, with the other side of the bed experiencing a crazy draft from the window, either side of the bed was bad (for either of the reasons). The pipe also made weird noises throughout the night, banging, ticking, popping, so if you are a light sleeper, this might not be for you. Apart from the last morning when a car a alarm kept going off 3 times in a row, the hotel is off on a smaller side street so fairly quiet. Would have been good with a least a sink in the bedroom. The hotel does not look too much like the pictures online, or at least our room, floor hallway and bathroom didn't. Really hard and big pillows. We never complained for any of these issues, as we really just wanted a bed to sleep in for the night, with too much to do during the day to ever come back to the hotel for any reason, so if you plan to do the same, then this place is fine, as long as you don't have high expectations.
