Nothing but location
El primer día no tuvimos agua caliente. La habitación que nos dieron no era como las que salen en las fotos.
El personal del hotel es agradable y hablan español.
Poor access to power supplies near the bed. Poor storage space in the bathroom.
The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Great use of under bed storage in order to make up for a small space. Great use of wood shutters to keep light out.
We had problems with moving us from one room to another without warning. The staff had communication problems that caused that situation. So that wasn't nice...
The hotel/hostel is in a great place, close to the subway. The structure is good, it is clean and fairly organized.
I don't mind sharing a bathroom, though not my first choice. My room was right next to the bathroom was was good for convenience, but noisy. The TV reception was iffy at best, and I wonder at the internet reception as a result, though did not use it. Finally, no reading light!
The location was great for my needs. I had work in the Bronx and it was an easy on and off the West Side Highway. (I was driving.) Parking was also easy. I found a spot on West End Avenue and parked for free overnight. The staff was very friendly and efficient and the room was clean and bright, if bare.
Bathroom was very small, WiFi just worked sometimes. Hotel/rooms were quiet old and used (stains on the carpet). Das Badezimmer was sehr eng, das WLan funktionierte nicht zuverlässig. Das Gebäude und seine Einrichtung sind ziemlich alt (z.B. Flecken auf dem Teppich).
Many opportunities to get breakfast nearby, close to subway and Central Park, price was okay for New York City. Staff was nice.
Frank was really helpful. He made us very welcome.
extremely cold room (no heating), shaky wifi
good location close to subway station, restaurants, awesome housekeeping
During check-in, date error pop-up, our accommodation date was moved one day further. However it was solved eventually.
The great location in the heart of Manhattan, next to subway station, great Pizzeria and Liqueur store.
The person at the front desk kept telling my boyfriend and I there is no smoking or drinking allowed and we don't do any of the above and I woke up to the housekeepers talking loud to eachother at 8 in the morning and checkout wasn't until 11.
if I had to say what I liked the most its the bed that's it !
rooms bit shabby - but tolerable computers downstairs remember when steve jobs and bill gates worked together
great location - 2min to subway friendly staff clean sheets and towels generally non-problematic place
The bath tun got clogged witn water and when there waa a lady crying out for help we thought there was somerhing bad happening
Sometime we had to wait for the showers in the corridor, when they were occupied by other guests.
A very good hotel for that price and close to express subway station, only 2 stations to Times Square! The location is good, close to 3 big supermarkets and the Riverside Park.
Slow wifi, price too expensive, and noise from pipes of heater causing disturbance at night.
Near the Subway at 96St
Room ridiculous hot. Air conditioning was not working but we solved the problem by keeping the window opened. Most staff were nice but some weren't (the typical New Yorker bad mood that looks like we were making a favor by staying in the hotel.
The shared bathrooms were clean and the woman who was cleaning the floor was lovely and really nice. The room was clean. This is an EXCELLENT option in NY city based on price-place-location (I already stayed in more than 10 hotels in NY)
Wake up little early for the rest room and get in line!!! Needs little more attention to the cleanse of the bathroom
On upper west side of Manhattan next to the subway station and about 30 min walk from downtown for the price it's ok
I like it because when I requested for a private bathroom in the booking they gave it to me :)
Pretty worn off. My door did not even have a handle ;D Upon arrival had to ask to replace my bed cover which was quite dirty. My room was next to the stairs and there was always someone talking or laughing, not the best for sleeping.
Right next to the 96th street subway, literally 2 min walk. Lots of supermarkets and cafes in the area. 15 mins walk to Central Park. Staff was very friendly.
Being told not to unpack as we would have to move rooms the next day.
Shower was OK.
Wifi doesn't work half of the time. Occasionally see bugs crawling around.
Noisy pipes. I think we saw bedbugs in the shared bathrooms. Small room.
Good location near the metro
I don't know what the other rooms are like but our room was tiny. The bathroom was probably not even 2 metres long, you could sit on the toilet and put your feet in the shower! the shower was really tiny and was either boiling or freezing. We were the room right next to the stairwell and it was so noisy with people coming in and out up the stairs all night.
The location was brilliant. Literally 2 minutes from subway which is 2 stops from time square. 24hour shop round corner. Rooms are clean, bed is comfy. Brilliant value for money. Perfect for young people who just want to experience the night life or only stay a couple of days
There was an annoying pipe in the corner of our room (23g) which when heating up was very noisy.
Only one street away from a major subway stop (96 street). The market shop next door has everything you need for food and drink. Good storage space. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good value.
