Bed was super comfy. Very convenient location. Restaurant/bar onsite was good.
Walls a little too thin. Could hear people talking in hallway.
I liked the cleanliness I liked the comfort of the bed I liked the quiet heating unit I liked the location I liked the staff
Only one chair in the room
Everything was wonderful except the breakfast.
beds on the hard side
Stayed on first floor. You could hear every footstep through ceiling. Very loud all night long. Mattress was awful.Lighting absolutely terrible! No bulbs in over the sink lighting fixture.Everything very dim. Otherwise was no frills as expected.
People who worked the desk were friendly. We received helpful info on the shuttle. The keys worked first time. Nice shower. Clean.
We were mot told about the details of breakfast when we checked in by the young man. The woman at the desk told her check ins. So we overheard where to go and when. There was a crack in the tile on the floor. The futniture was was worn ; chair and dresser. Room needs a soft chair to sit in.
I liked the location and that it was quite. The pillows were amazing and the room itself was clean. The lounge was nice, when it was open.
The walls were paper thin, I could hear the man in the next room snoring. There were no vending machines, and the hotel was not very clean itself, it needed updated very badly.
bed was comfy, clean bathroom clean
toilet didn't flush properly sofa looked like it belonged in a college dorm room--tattered room temperature was difficult to manage
They went above and beyond what we are needs were. We were to have a microwave and refrigerator in our room. They located one within the hour. My father cannot sleep in a bed so they located hint a recliner to sleep in.
They have a restaurant within the the Inn and the smell carried up onto the second floor. Worried my clother would smell like fried food. All was good!
Great room, value, staff, nice breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was great. Next time I am in the Middletown area again for business I'll book my room at this property.
Size of the room, and the size of the bathroom, nice continental breakfast.
Door key had to be changed three times; only given one washcloth for two people each day!
We were there for a family event, so most of our time was spent outside of the hotel. It was convenient to all activities and we didn't need or want any extravagant extras. Basically, we just needed a clean, warm place to sleep.
Outside entrance not locked, phone not working, breakfast not great.
The heater was noisy.the breakfast was very simple so we didn't try it.
After reading all the negative reviews with regards to smells from the restaurant, holes in the ceiling and stains everywhere, we expected the worst, but could find no other hotels in this price range. Imagine our surprise when the smells from the restaurant were incredible, the room was very clean and hole-free and everyone on staff was very nice. We would stay here again.
The guy in the room above us must have slept in work boots and drank a gallon of water before bed, because he was clodding around above us all night.
This place is close to Bristol and Newport. Lots of stores and restaurants in the area.
On my floor there were kids running up and down the hall at 11:00pm. I should have called the front desk but didn't just put up with it until they stopped. In my room which was 206, there were outlets that didn't work.
The location was perfect with lots of places with in easy driving distance
I was told there was a microwave in the room and there wasn't
Good location and value.
No elevators and noise can be heard from adjoining room.
The staff at the front desk were nice and the shuttle to newport is convenient. However the condition of the room was not so great. Our window was broken and did not lock and the toilet ran all night long. In addtion you could hear everything going on in every room around you.
The shuttle to downtown Newport seems to be the big appeal and saving grace of this establishment.
The bed was excruciatingly uncomfortable and the AC unit shut off multiple times on its own which was weird given it did not seem linked to a thermostat. The hotel bar (if you must) closed 3 hours early ending our night sooner than we thought.
clean room, free breakfast, a good enough place to crash for the night while visiting newport.
outdated facilities and decor, hard bed.
I loved the location
Bathroom was outdated
The Ramada is in a good location close to many good restaurants, local sight seeing places and stores. What is nice is its close but not too close. The house keeping does a great job. When I say middle I meant there are better and there are worse.
The sheets need more softner and its time to get new mattresses. The continental breakfast leaves a lot to be desired, very very basic. Parking is tight on the weekends. The decor should be updated.
staff was awesome, shuttle to town for $8 per person. Large clean room.
room not finished, no base boards, shower not finished common areas out dated and run down
Location, price and free breakfast. There were no hidden fees and the wifi connection was strong. This place received mixed reviews however, I had pleasant stay. If I return to the area, I would have no problem staying here.
