Internal environment was extremely pleasant. Staff helpful. And most strikingly, really interesting artwork (which in hotels is usually utterly forgettable). Clean, pretty pool, and great view on the river. I was really very pleased with the hotel. |

Good views across the river of Boston, ideal location for the mall and the bar food was excellent. Individual traveller room was on the small size and located by the elevators but it wasn't overly noisy. |

Location I signed-in at registration at a rate of $156/night. After experiencing poor accommodations, tiny room and miniscule bathroom, I checked-out the following morning - however I was charged $250/night for the room ! Despite my vocal complaints, the Front Desk refused to make the correction to my charge card. I would never recommend the Royal Sonestra to anyone whom I value. The customer is certainly not Job One with this poor hotel. |

This was not our first stay here and we were delighted that there was no signs of any decline in either the ambience, efficiency or friendliness of all the staff. Location on the river whilst being easy traveling distance to city is also another plus for us. |

We didn't get any room service, so had to go get our own towels the second day and no one made out beds, etc. Also, for the veryhigh price per night, they don't even provide basic cable. You could order movies but not watch TV. even cheap motels provide basic cable. And this was in the middle of baseball post season. Not good. |

Can't fault the staff they were excellent the hotel has everything you want the ArtBar is a great place to have a drink. When i booked the room we were not told it was right next door to the service lift which started working at 5.00am every morning. And for the amount of money that i paid for this hotel i thought was bad service. |

The staff was truly exceptional! My one-year-old and I were made to feel so welcome. Just a few examples: The cafe crew made her first birthday morning so special by bringing her a beautifully decorated piece of breakfast cake. After inquiring about some things I left in our room safe, we had to leave for an errand. The security manager literally came running down the block after us once she found them. On our last night I pushed the room service table into the hallway, and accidentally locked myself outside with my baby inside the room. I frantically called the front desk from the elevator lobby phone, and within seconds someone was unlocking our door. The views, artwork, location, concierge service, fantastic. Didn't want to leave!!! We stayed in two rooms on separate days...both rooms were lovely with incredible views, I would only suggest to add some towel racks to the second room (#768). |

The valet guys were really good. Front desk was not very warm or friendly all the times I was inquirng about something or another. The breakfast buffet staff were terrible. There was 3 of them running around doing who knows what, while there was only 4 patrons including myself. I couldn't even wave anyone down to get a 2nd glass of grapefruit. They were not very friendly or accomodating. The concierge was very busy when I showed up and asked questions about tours, he basically said just take the orange bus, we have tickets for $70, its the best. thats it, no elaborating on exactly what they do, just gave me a map and asked me to have a look, in the morning he was very helpful, by mid afternoon he was very very cranky. I would not stay here again. |

The staff was really friendly and the room was very good. The spa facilities are also nice. Yes, the fact that the hotel charged $5 per 20 minutes use of the Internet. |

The hotel was fantastic, the staff was lovely, always happy to help, smiling and friendly. The location was great on the Charles' river and it was easy to access the city centre by foot or by tram at short distances. I highly recommend this hotel. |
