Everything was very tidy and clean
Friendly staff, bright decor, lovely rooms.
The doors of the bathroom on the 3rd floor next to the gym were locked in the early morning. Not the most convenient for an early-morning workout.
The staff was great and very helpful with all of our questions. The location of the hotel was convenient and close to everything. Beds were comfy too!
Funky Really SWEET staff
NOISY NEIGHBORS EVERY NIGHT
Relatively quiet location surrounded by good but not over-crowded restaurants and just a short distance from the heart of the French Quarter.
The phone wasn't set up right and no instructions on the phone itself.
The location was close to the French Quarter
My single queen room was so small. Two people could not stand in the bathroom at the same time.
Size of room The price for the size of a closet No privacy Horrible water pressure, didn't want to even shower because it was so bad. Not worth the money by any means.
Very good Mardi Gras location. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Small room, poor reception on TV, no HBO
They gave us a handicap room that wasn't our request, also no place to park on property.
Location is good
Really old, dirty rooms, uncomfortable beds, extremely loud elevator...
Good location, able to park car and walk to key location. Small but clean, comfortable room. Would stay here again
The fact that the layout of hotel leaves for rooms with no windows.
The Hotel does not work well with booking sites and the staff was rude. They are also quit slow. When we arrived back at hotel around midnight from the concert the security gaurd was asleep and snoring on the sofa in lobby. I had to wake him to locate the Ice machine. We had no shampoo in bathroom, were unable to get extra blankets. The advertising of the parking should be better explained because I would have used it if I could have located it. I drove around for 40 mins before I found a parking lot then had to walk back to hotel with children carrying everything. The entire stay was not at all what I expected and we will never stay there again.
Being charged for wifi I didn't need!
Bellhop were very nice
The room was too small. Like a closet. Elevators were too small. I left one shoe. Very expensive. Called to ask if they found it twice. They can't I think they threw it away.
on parade route. Bell man (captain?) evening bar tender. Concierge.
smallest room including France. Front desk could not change $100.00. I went across the street to Marriott, where I'll stay next time.Even coffee shop ran out of items like butter, frozen drinks and plates. Room not cleaned until 6 PM when I complained. Housekeeper was nice.
Friendly staff and very clean.
Rooms were a bit small. Need more counter space in bathroom
The location is perfect both for business as for those who want to go to the French Quartier.
Too noisy. And the pillows are too small.
close to Canal and the French district , wonderful restaurants close by, friendly staff , from our room we could see the parade . Balcony was nice , great to escape back into the room when it was raining or cold.
Great location. Half a block from Bourbon St.
location and staff
pricey but it was Madi Gras
We could view the Mardi Gras parades from our room window.
The room we were given was a handicap accessible room which was tiny with two queen beds. The wasn't a refrigerator or microwave available in the room. The restrooms on the 3rd floor hallway were locked and not available to guest. It would have been nice if the hotel would have informed guest that they would have to walk 2 blocks from another hotels parking garage to the hotel.
I liked the location. It wasn't too far from everything.
One of the staff was really rude to me and had a nasty attitude! I locked my purse in the room with my card and license. She refused to let me in the room telling me "I need proof of who you are." I kept telling her have someone come up stairs with me and I will get my license but she kept saying no. I was livid! Finally, she gave in and let me up after 10 minutes of arguing that could have been avoided. Plus the rooms are super small! There is no room to have open bags or walking space!
I liked that the hotel staff was more than helpful during the crazy Mardi Gras timing of my stay.
I didn't like the location of the hotel. I didn't think it was center of downtown on a corner. I thought it was a corner of downtown. Couldn't get to the hotel at all during the parades and at the time there was no parade schedule available to me. The bathroom was entirely too small for comfort and the room was very awkwardly positioned.
We loved the view. This hotel is directly on the most popular parade route in New Orleans so that in itself sold the room for me!! We were in a room facing St Charles Ave and could watch every major parade just by looking out our window!!
Well, our stay was scheduled during Mardi Gras so there was definitely evidence of some extreme price gouging. We paid a significant fee for a 2-night stay in a very small room with a kind of a terrible bathroom. Shower head was horrible , the toilet seat was stained, and the hot water would not work in the bathroom sink. The air conditioner made a rattling noise too, but engineerinng did come right away to repair. Loved the location, most of the staff was friendly, but I won't pay a mortgage payment to stay there again!
