angenehmes, gut geführtes Hotel. Individuell und sehr gute Lage. Leider nicht mehr das "alte Royalton" von Ian Schrager. Die Renovierung der Lobby ist vom Design nicht gelungen. Die Zimmer sind noch überwiegend im Philip Starck Design. Heute ist das nicht mehr das coole Designer Hotel, sondernein gutes, normales Hotel für Geschäftsleute. |

die Lage und Design normale Zimmer sehr klein, die von mir gebuchte Loft-Suite war nicht mehr da obwohl wir schon am Mittag ankamen. Die mir offerierten 100 USD Nachlass pro Tag wurden dann am Ende nicht gegeben, da der Mitarbeiter sowie auch der am Tag meiner Ankunft zuständige Manager nicht auffindbar waren, das Personal war bis auf - Tania vom Ticketservice - unfreundlich bis unverschämt, gegrüsst wurde z.B.nie |

The lobby was amazing. The staff was actually very helpful. We asked them to change our room because of the noise coming from the fans outside and they very politely obliged. Rooms were small, but reasonalbe for NYC. |

The hotel was different to say the least. Not what I would call a family hotel necessarily. As others have said, it was darkened. And yes I had trouble seeing to put on my makeup in the bathroom. But the room was clean and we really liked the rain shower head and glass enclosed shower. Our room was a pretty nice size considering there was three of us. Myself and two daughters. Really great location. A couple of doors down from the Hippodrome parking garage which was really great. It cost us $55.00 to park for 32 hours and we were able to go back and forth to the car to get our luggage and then return it at checkout time. Very convenient. I would stay again with the deal that I had. |

Well located and comfortable. The staff were friendly and most things I needed were there. Decor was dark, no cotton wool pads or shower caps in the bathroom. |

The lobby of this hotel looks stunning and was just renovated 2 yrs ago. The rooms are in reasonable size for NYC and designed by a famous designer Phillipe Starck. Both me and my husband are designers and we enjoy the well made furnitures and details of the room. |

the location was great, the design of the lobby and the room, the lobby bar was very nice, breakfast facilities were good and the room was very neat and nicely decorated At some occasions the concierge was not available and but the reception staff were very keen to help with the requests |

The size of the room was more than expected The check out was swamped. The concierge was nowhere to be found day or night. They overcharged me and I had to show proof of my booking.com reservation. |

I would stay here for a month given the opportunity. Very comfortable rooms, great bathrooms and classy decor. Incredible restaurant and bar and extremely friendly staff, My best stay in New York ever. |

The hotel was very dark, the furniture was so modern, hip and design to the point it lacked the bare minimum comfort (ie drawers, night tables) and was way too small for 3 people. |
