1. I was charged $100 more for the room than I was told 2. There was a reserved party in the lounge so I couldn't use the facility (at 5:30 PM on thursday, Oct 20.) I went to the Algonquin instead. Because of this I will probably never stay here again, and I'll make sure I tell my associates as such. I feel like I was robbed,

Room was a good size and Bath Tub in the Deluxe room was huge. Overall the design was nice. Hotel was incredibly dark, as soon as you walked in there is no natural light anywhere inside the hotel. AIso the floor we stayed on smelt like a smoking floor even though the hotel was a non smoking hotel. Too be honest I expected more as I've been to other Morgan Group Hotels.

We loved everthing about the Royalton. It is a beautiful hotel - very classy. I was a little worried about candles being left in the rooms to burn in case of fire. Although I did love having them - just a thougth.

From start to finish everything about the Royalton was brilliant, from the little touches like the IPad in the room, finding out there was a balcony overlooking New York, luxury products for free, massive walk in shower, huge hd tv and a very comfy bed. The staff were always on point with everything you needed, couldn't say enough good things about this place! It was everything we could of dreamt of and we will be returning soon, we suggest everyone does the same too!

Very chic hotel. Lounge was great, drinks outstanding. Bathroom was beautiful. Really liked it alot. there wasn't any music in the room unless you paid for it. There was an iPod docking station but we didn't bring the iPod.

Hip, stylish hotel without the snotty attitude. Staff was universally friendly and helpful. Rooms are decent size and nicely decorated. Breakfast at 44 restaurant downstairs was terrific. The midtown location is ideal for getting anywhere in Manhattan. I'm a former NYC resident and the hotel is next-door to my company's NYC office, but I'd stay there even if it weren't. If I'm not staying with friends you'll find me at the Royalton. The lobby can be a bit of a scene after work....lots of noise and singles mingling.

The room was not as beautiful as in pictures, fireplace could not be lighted, and we had booked this type of room due to this fireplace. Lifts and corridors look old while the rest (rooms, reception) try to be modern. Only one person in reception and long time to wait.

A seriously funky hotel in a great location for shopping & sightseeing. Gorgeous rooms with a really handy i-pad, fab bathroom & comfy bed. Staff were a pleasure to deal with, nothing was to much trouble & they were full of great tips & ideas for restaurants etc! Great hotel, would highly recommend!

Very warm and friendly, yet quiet and refined. The room was amazing the Bose stereo and Ipad were great complimentary devices to have on hand. A mini fridge to accent the mini bar would have been a bonus.

Location is great for people who likes to shop or theater. The rooms r nice and comfy, the beddings r very very nice. Can't find bell boys to help with luggage. A nice man smoking outside had to help me with my luggage up the stairs.

I have stayed at the Royalton a few times and love the friendliness and personal attention the staff give you. They accommodate to every detail and need to try and make you stay enjoyable. Thank you to the staff at the Royalton Hotel in New York from Shaun and the other gentlemen at the door, to Jason and Robert at Concierge who went out of the way making our stay enjoyable and to Jeff and the staff in the Restaurant who made my family enjoy every meal we ordered. The hotel was in the most appropriate position and it has an intimate and personal vibe that allows you to feel like you are attended to your every need. I love the design from the foyer to the individual rooms that I have stayed whilst visiting New York. Thank you.

having stayed before and enjoyed it, we looked forward to our return .We were not disapointed but felt the room was a little tired and the bed was not as comfy as before. However to be fair to you we are nit picking.The hotel was great the staff were friendly and effecient and the lobby moody and and swank.
