The fact of blankets being between two clean sheets & plastic cups in sealed bags. The room was clean & comfortable
The rooms need to be updated
location, internet is getting interrupted many times, breakfast is only some toast, cheese, tea and cup cakes
Checking in was quick an easy, the young women at the front desk was very helpful giving directions and was very pleasant.
We were in room 516 and the beds were way too soft and felt like a cheap hotel room. The continental breakfast was very small, very little choices and they used mini size muffins, bagels and danish. I didn't see any fresh fruit.
No Restaurant, run down.
How they are trying to make the hotel a better place to say.
The smell in my room
Flexibility. I was able to book another day with the information the help desk provided.
We went for breakfast at 10a but there was no fruit left nor coffee.
No towels in room. Old coffee filter still in coffee pot.
Personnel is not pro active. At check-in, the desk was unattended and we had to wait for over 10 minutes, because the receptionist was making a phone call with his cell phone outside the lobby. After check-in we had an additional question for which we returned to the reception. Again we found the receptionist outside the lobby making a phone call. In the morning, we had to get up real early because breakfast is only served till 9.30. At 9.25, the breakfast manager turned of the lights without noticing that we were still having breakfast. The bed was of bad quality when one of us would turn around, the whole bed started moving. This is not very handy if you would like to get a good nights sleep.
The price was decent. Staff was friendly. The lobby was pretty. And I hAd read bad reviews about the breakfast but it was ok. It was your standard complementary breakfast. Nothing fancy but decent.
The pool was closed. We stayed here 4 yrs ago and the pool was closed for maintenance. This time there had been a storm and the table top broke so it was "closed due to glass". It was green anyway. They said it would be open next day but it never did open. We stayed 4 days. On the last morning the pool was actually clear. On second day the #1 elevator broke. Got stuck btwn floors. And lastly....the emergency door at the bottom of the stairwell was broken and didn't even close right. Think that's a huge safety/security issue. Oh wait I forgot something. The box springs are so old that the bed sways back and forth if you move even the slightest bit. And there was a dirty towel shoved under the dresser. I usually don't complain much about things but this is just stating the facts.
