Scenery Wildlife/Natural Setting Friendly People Window Washing Facilities Gorgeous View from Room Entry had a great variety of games(we forgot to pack one)
Unsupervised new person at check-in, he forgot to explain Food Certificate and we were too tired to care at the time. No On site/room service menu in the room directory.
Nice rooms, nice place, free parking would need more than an overnight stay to allow time to explore grounds.
Restaurant not big enough for amount of people who wanted to eat there. Was only eatery open on site so no other option but wait. Service and food was good though .
This is our second visit and we will continue to make this a destination. The staff is extreamly friendly and helpful. Breakfast is amazing and the location is great. This is the perfect quiet weekend getaway spot
Beautiful scenery, great food, excellent service & amenities!
Fish&chips and wine selection besides tranquility
Too soft mattress for me
everything is good
price a little high
Helpful staff. We had a good table for dinner and the dinner at the hotel was good and served hot. A good view from the room.
The buffet breakfast was cold. A Japanese woman ate all the blackberries at breakfast! A little pricey for the breakfast but the dinner good value.
great value for the money
It is located in the middle of nowhere.
Wonderful golf course!
I absolutely loved checking out of this dump.... If you like to waste your hard earned money this holiday inn aka y ranch stay here. Waste of stay
There were Nats everywhere at the entrance of this so called resort and no one to help with luggage even though their was valet. I had to go in and grab a luggage carrier and do everything on my own as my wife took care of our infant. Service 0 out of 10. Place looks beaten down and it might be time to just call it a holiday inn instead of a resort. 0 out of 10 on the whole visit. Almost forgot.... Food was horrendous and they offer no room service. Not surprised after being there for 10 mins
nice staff very clean and calm restaurant large rooms
Friendly staff and a spectacular resort.
Upgraded to house on golf course due to a/c problem. Sports center very nice. Beautiful property as compared to area in general. Accommodating staff.
A/C didn't work in hotel room. Standard hotel room unremarkable.
Not for the over nite traveler
The hotel has good sports facilities. Staff were helpful in advising on walking routes and other things to do. Views from the restaurant balcony were pleasant.
Room cleaning was missed one day and the WiFi was unreliable. The restaurant service varied between poor and very good depending on the waiter/waitress. Unsupervised access to the pool for guests under 14 was not allowed, but my 17 year old 6'2" son wasn't allowed into the pool on his own.
Great location. Nice big room. Quiet and clean facility. Nice and helpful staff.
Restaurant has limited selection for food. More of a burger/fries place.
Location and property as a whole was fabulous. Beautiful pool. Lovely room with balcony overlooking golf course and sliver of the lake.
Staff was really loud in both the kitchen area and front desk even before 6 AM. At breakfast, the young staff wore really short shorts and no aprons or anything to identify them as workers vs. guests. First I received extra meat although I asked for no meat, then when I finally got my omlet the second time, there was no cheese. Note to staff - put in orders that are sent back in the front of the queue. We waited almost an extra half hour for my meal. My friend was done with her breakfast and several cups of coffee by then. White, cold bread does not qualify as toast. Although our meal was ultimately comped, there was no apology. In this type of property I was surprised by the lack of professionalism.
The setting and the lodge feel!
It was hot and our AC died.
Rooms were updated and clean. Grounds were lovely with many nice trails. View was pretty. The menu was not as varied as I would have liked, but the food was good and yhe outside patio lovely.
There was a jerk customer who was upset on the outside patio dining area because the manager told him he couldn't have his dog there (duh). The manager didn't handle it well because they were arguing with raised voices for at least 5 minutes while the rest of us were trying to have dinner in the "peaceful" surroundings. Front desk staff were not fully trained on customer service...not bad, just uncomfotably tense. No room service.
Painless check in, decent enough pool but very shallow which is a trend in pools I hate. Staff were friendly. The steak and beer I had for lunch was good. Probably good for golf but I detest the sport. Close enough to Crater Lake.
Not really much going on around there, if you are an old guy in khaki shorts, polo shirt and baseball cap you will fit right in. Also I ran over a squirrel on the way out but I can hardly hold them responsible for that.
The staff was very helpful about suggesting we visit Lava Beds National Monument in California and other nature walks in the area. The inside pool and hot tub were very large, nice and clean.
The menu at the onsite restaurant was somewhat limited, but not overpriced.
Lovely, luxurious resort in an out of the way location. The staff were extremely helpful in their efforts to accommodate our dog. I sincerely appreciated their extra effort.
Food and food service was mediocre at best. AND, the resort is so far out of town the options were slim to none off the property.
Very nice and quiet location, restaurant inside premises is great
Could be cleaner
Almost everything. Waitresses were great. Good service and friendly. Quiet rooms.
Limited dinner menu. Patio needs more shade and cement in need of repair. Coffee cups are clumsy to use. A regular mug would be better. Bathroom shower is a tight fit and I'm not a large person. Bathroom sink takes up too much room so there is no place to set things down.
Staff were very accommodating
A guest in a resort such as this shouldn't have to be competing for limited Wi-Fi resources. It's a relatively inexpensive amenity to provide, and its lack of availability due to "too many subscribers logged on" is a stain on an otherwise excellent property.
