Creekside villa charming
You can't create snow so everything else was fantastic
The location of the property was excellent. Just outside town (probably a 10 minute walk to the town centre) and across the street from the Elk Refuge. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Depending on where you stay you may or may not see the river. If you don't, go for a walk and find it. It is well worth it. Even in freezing conditions it is a beautiful place.
We weren't told that the restaurant etc at the hotel wouldn't be open until the 12th Dec - we checked out on the 10th. They did have a shuttle to take us where we wanted to go, but staying in wasn't an option which, after a long day out was just what we wanted. The gym is in a building with glass on all sides in the centre of the driveway. It allows for a beautiful view, however when it is 20 degrees outside, the thought of heading out to the glass bowl is not all that appealing.
The check-in was excellent and we loved the room. It was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The bathroom had been completely redone and was excellent, no tub, but a great new shower. They also provided an excellent breakfast buffet with the with which included cooked to order eggs. We have stayed in Jackson several times and the value for this room was excellent.
the property was very nice and upscale our reservation clerks were very nice, and the drivers both times that took us downtown were very friendly and fun . overall we were very happy and would return, just a few bugs fixed would help
cleaning people knocking on our door at 8 am on a Saturday.. last time I checked I thought folks were going here to relax the cook in the breakfast presentation hated his job and it showed loud and clear.
The hotel was a short walk to the center of town. We enjoyed the wildlife and nice private room
we went out for dinner and drinks, when we got back late to the hotel, past 10PM and learned they had nice gas fire pits. As we started to settle in and enjoy. Staff came out to shut it down for the night. We asked to keep it going for a few and was nicely told no. Wished they would have worked with us.
Was quiet but loved the sound of the creek at night, great Jackson scenery off the porch, and staff was very friendly and accommodating!! Great walking distance to downtown.
Bar was closed due to off season, too bad!!
It feels secluded although it's in the city.
Wifi does not work in the rooms One member of staff totally rude and unhelpful. So disappointed, we left a day early even though we had prepaid because they were so appalling
Gorgeous views of the hillside range, walkways alongside creeks, and beautiful room and lodge/ dining area. The lovely people in the town of Jackson left us with a better impression of the area.
With the exception of the young lady who checked us in, staff were cold and unfriendly - no smile or acknowledgement in passing or after greeting them; which was extremely disappointing. Wi-Fi constantly drops out and required sign in, it's a big deal when you traveled from overseas.
Excellent location. With in walking distance of the main square. Enjoyed early run along the National Elk Refuge. Bathroom floor heater was awesome.
TV picture distorted on the sides. Room may need the TV replaced.
The grounds were amazing, with the fall colors as a backdrop. Loved the fire pits and Teepee experience...and the Moose in the pond was a wonderful 'fool the family back home' opportunity! :)
Nice big romantic lodge. Good breakfast selection, nice small bar. Laundromat available.
The cabins were luxurious with much attention given to all details. The breakfast was fantastic!
Nothing. Everything was great!
The Bistro food was excellent. The bed was also very good.
Location was misleading in the website photos. Appears to be away from downtown and not on the main road, which is not ghe case. Also, lose the bus guests.
Natural park & stream
The grounds were beautiful and the fire pits created a great meeting place to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The stream running through the property added a pleasant ambiance as well as the view of the hillside on the backside of the property.
The room was stuffy and extremely hot. We opened the window for ventilation but it made little difference so we often left the front door open. We slept very little due to the heat and poor air circulation. Also, the internet was very slow at night and we found it difficult to get business accomplished via the internet.
We were offered a free upgrade to the spa suites. They are brand new and are so beautiful and comfortable. Every amenity you could want and the staff were so friendly and thoughtful. Very unique seeing and experience. We will go back for sure.
Restaurant choice of menu and price for dinner
The location is great. Walk into town, not far from airport. Felt like you were miles from anything, but really very central. The new spa suites are wonderful.
There was not anything we did not like.
The rooms were not bad and the cleaning staff too.
I didn't like the fact that they don't tell you that you don't have Wi-Fi in the room. They gave us a big run-around story about resetting it. That's a lie, because all 5 days we did not have it. This cost me a full day to work at my conference. Also, they was no hot water for the shower in the morning. If you don't make this right, I will not be using your service again! Thanks! Randy
Overall ambience and decor was good. Location was good. Facilities were good especially the guest laundry. Room was very comfortable.
Bistro had limited food choice, food was not best quality and was compatibly expensive. Service could have been better. Eggs at breakfast buffet were dry. Was overcharged for room on checkout, but this was corrected when pointed out to the manager.
Nice location and rooms
We were charged more than the price we were quoted online. We were told we were upgraded, but we did not ask for this. Also our room did not get cleaned. The maids were next door to our room when we left and we put the clean room sign on the door and when we came back 5 hrs later it was not cleaned.
We rented creekside rooms which were lovely with a great porch. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. Staff were excellent; courteous, helpful, and professional.
The most comfortable beds with amazing linen, felt very luxe. Glam bathroom with a generous selection of upmarket toiletries. Breakfast was delicious with a selection of fruits, pastries and cereals, as well as cooked items.
We stayed in a double queen room. The lighting was quite dim and there was only one bedside table and 1 reading lamp for 4 people. It would have been nice to be able to read my book and have a place to put my glass of water.
Loved the cabin, grounds with scenic creek, bond fires at night, free breakfast, great bartender.
