The doorman was very friendly and extremely helpful. Always polite and willing to answer questions.
When I requested a receipt I was told I had to go through booking.com to get it and they wouldn't provide me with a copy of it.

Head board to bed should be replaced - worn out spots from heads pressing against board! Lounge chair in room had soiled spots and arm rests of chair was dirty!

The elevator too slow.
Carpet worn, head born had a worn out smudge that was about 8 inches in diameter and a reddish color- so it was unattractive and decreased the value, look and feel of our room.
The staff was very nice.
I will not stay again because you charge to use the internet and to park at the hotel.
The desk clerk who checked us out that morning was the highlight of the entire experience!
The cost for the value was not acceptable, not to mention, $14.00 for parking at the hotel!!! Ridiculous! $200.00 plus dollars for a bed, and the room wasn't that clean; terribly dusty, and the lower floor (parking garage entrance), smelled like a sewer! I will NEVER stay there again!
Good location for the things I had to do
The carpet was very dirty from pets. Lots of spots in the room and hallway. The elevators were so slow that I went up 6 floors and came back down before my wife got in

We've stayed here previously on a couple of occasions. The hotel is excellent in some ways. The room was clean and comfortable and a value for the price. The location is excellent.
We had the breakfast buffet on Sunday morning. The food was poor quality and cold. For the price, (14.95 per person), the buffet should have been top notch. The explanation that there had been a recent fire and they were working out of a secondary kitchen was sensible, but the price and menu should have been more in line with what was offered. I'm also one who does not understand why a hotel like Sheraton charges extra for internet and breakfast while lower rated hotels offer both with the room rate.

only one elevator working and the hotel was almost full with family reunions and wedding receptions; only learned of reason at check out when I over heard receptionists explain to another guest that the part had to ordered; should have told as I checked in

Location: close to transit system, close to our convention hotel.
Elevators slow as molasses and one wasn't working. Multiple times had 20-minute wait for elevator. Ice machine on 9th floor did not work the entire time of our stay. Computers were slow and 2 of the 3 that I tried would not connect to the internet.
Staff at front desk, although sparse, were very friendly.
Lack of elevators for the size of the facility. Entrance inadequate to accomodate arriving and exiting guests. Not enough front desk staff.
Staff was so friendly making suggestions and helping us navigate a city we had never been to. Very clean and comfortable. Very quiet in a very quiet, adorable neighborhood with some good restaurants!
Elevator was out of service so we took the stairs a lot to the 7th floor, not a problem except we were on vacation ;)
Shower didn't work well, TV was disconnected when turned on, two men came to room and reconnected tv which still didn't work well. Refrigerator didn't work and all or food was applied by morning
How easy they made my stay
I like it all
Paying for parking; keys never worked, had to constantly get them re-keyed; towel rack falling off the wall; restaurant used dirty dishes; elevators didn't work and had to take the stairs, hsd only 1 sink in the bathroom.
Everyone was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the bed very comfortable and pillows were nice and soft. I liked having fresh clean water in the room and ice machine was close and handy. I liked the looks very much of the hotel too.
The room was a bit small so was the restroom and shower to small for 4 people. The dining facilities was over-priced for what we received. We constantly had long waits for the elevator sometimes as much as ten minutes. I personally didn't like where the hotel was located for an inexperienced driver it would have been very difficult to maneuver around
the beds made me sleep like a baby!
I found the people at St Louis very friendly, except for the staff at the front desk of the Sheraton Clayton. For a Sheraton the service and amenities were pretty standard. The hotel has a good location, but for the price of the room per night I could've stayed at the Drury inn, have free breakfast and dinner, friendly staff and a mini fridge in my room. The elevator was a mess, a whole chaos. there's only two operating elevators in a hotel with 12 floors!! So having multiple events happening at the hotel (2 weddings and a family reunion) was a BIG problem for us business travelers who needed to rush to the hotel room for something left behind, or just make it to the room after a long day of work. For example, it was late at night, had an exhausting day, when I finally made it to my room (elevator contention) my key didn't work. I had to go down to the front desk twice to get the key reprogrammed (twice because the first time they did it didn't work) So it was an ordeal of over 30 min thanks to the congested elevators. Not convenient!

I did not like the fact that you have to pay extra for internet. Also, it was not hot but it never got cold like the air in most hotels do.
The location was great, restaurants, a beautiful mall, and Shaw Park were all conveniently close! Parking was free on Saturday!
The pillows were to soft, elevators to slow, and they charged for Wi Fi!

The reception desk. It took the gentleman almost 20 minutes to find our prepaid reservation - this was accomplished after help form a colleague! Check out procedure was superb!
The connecting doors to the other rooms on both sides were not that sound proof and there were children playing on the other side of one. We were also in front of the elevator door and it was loud.
