It had fridge and microwave
Location Front desk staff
Room not cleaned the 2nd day. Very very noisy (room looking at the parking lot, car alarm going off at 3am, people speaking and runing car engines at 5am). Wifi signal very weak (needed to keep the room door open to get enough signal)
The only thing that was nice about the room was the bed. It was fairly comfortable.
We walked in and it looked like it hadn't been vacuumed! Then we go into the bathroom and there was a wrapper on the counter and empty shampoo bottle in the shower. Then there was a gross oder throughout the room. All in all I didn't want to walk barefoot in there.
I had the absolute worst experience at this particular location. The rooms were absolutely disgusting and smelled awful! The gal at the front desk tried to accommodate us the best she could. When asked to talk to the manager she was not willing to do anything about all or any of our complaints. I would never, ever go back here and am highly disappointed with the false advertisement on booking.com. This place is nothing like it looks and the customer service was some of the poorest I've ever received.
Staff very friendly
Rooms clean, but old Cracks in ceiling, lights poor or broken, chips and cracks everywhere. Beds terribly soft . Food dairy or bread. Cabana crowded and limited seating. No elevator only stairs to carry up luggage,
Cigarets smell in the room
Good location, easy access to highway and small shops. Has a co located grill.
The general upkeep of the property can be improved
Clean rooms with hardwood floors. Comfortable beds.
The breakfast cabana ran out of food when we arrived at 9. My kids had a yogurt and I had coffee.
Close to my office. Running into an equally dissatisfied couple in the parking lot who had similar complaints. I booked the exec suite, a spacious one bedroom apartment but got creeped out after about an hour. Favorite part was leaving at 11:30pm and driving home.
The front desk tried to charge me a higher rate at check in. The poorly lit stairwell and pitch black corridor leading to my room. (Did not feel safe). The overwhelming musty, dirty stench that the room stank of. Set my allergies off big time. cracking the windows and running the fan for over an hour didn't improve the smell. The fact that I booked presumably the nicest room in the place. Walking in to the lobby to tell them how dissatisfied I was only to have them tell me to contact the owner 'tomorrow'. Paying anything for this room. I should have demanded a refund but was too tired and had to drive home. The prospect of returning to deal with that wasn't worth my time.
bathroom not clean, not very many channels. we had to call the sherrifs the 2nd nite because of people partying upstairs past midnite. its just a shame its overpriced because its "silicon valley" .
The room has been refurnished. The timber floor looks quite clean. The staff did their best to help us enjoy our stay.
There is only 1 washing machine and 1 dryer for all guests to share. On the first two nights, the washing machine did not work. On the third night, when the washing machine was fixed, we had to wait until mid night to use it as it was occupied by other guests. The breakfast indoor area was tiny. We found it difficult to move around 8.30am when everyone arrive for breakfast. 2 out of 4 outdoor tables were broken. They had very limited offer of food and they won't replenish them. Everything was shut down right at 9am. We have young kids who are slow eaters. The lady who served breakfast told us that she got into trouble for giving us 10 more mins to finish our breakfast on the first morning, even though she has stopped serving food. Her boss wanted everyone out of the room at 9 am! And she was only allowed to give 1 egg to each guest. The air conditioning unit was so old and so loud that we felt like sleeping in the engine room of an aero plane!
The look and cleanliness of the room
The staff during the evening was not the friendless. The gentleman appeared to be bothered by customers coming into the office to ask questions.
wood floors, not carpet the free breakfast
It was really close to highway 101 which is a big plus
There was a few bugs in our room and the beds were hard
The cleaning staff were very pleasant.
The water temperature in the shower fluctuated dramatically while showering. I believe the hotel was used as residency for some occupants. One of the couples was engaged in a domestic dispute over our stay of two nights - no fun! The food was inconsistent and in short supply, and one of the staff was so very rude I was completely put off by his demeanor and lack of willingness to help when asked. His response to my requests for information regarding shuttle or bus service was as though I was burdensome.
Nice breakfast. Comfortable an clean room. We heard no traffic noise.
The Lobby carpet needed cleaning or replaced. Neighborhood construction going on so weekdays from 8-5 was noisy.
Beds and pillows were comfy. Felt comfortable with the pool location.
My room was upgraded to the suite because of a system malfunction.
My room carpet was different colors. More dirty than anything and that's being nice. Some electrical outlets did not work. Wi-Fi signal was very poor. House keeping goes home at 4pm so God forbid you need anything like extra towels or blankets you just have to make due with what you have until morning. When house keeping finally came around they did not empty the trash or mop rest room floors. I called to have them come out and empty trash and they never came. I called back an hour later and was told that they were gone home for the day. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone and me or the people that I traveled with will never return. Horrible service and upkeep.
Good value accommodation at an excellent location.
Not the cleanest of places and almost impossible to get consistent water temperature in the shower. Unreliable and slow WiFi.
Very unhelpful, did not have the room I paid for and would not refund my money.
The location was good relative to our side trips. The breakfast was welcome treat although would have been nice if you offered a breakfast meat as well.
The price was just a tad high all things considered.
Clean room and very nice toiletries. The hot water was very hot - great for showering. The cold water was very cold and delicious for a drink on a hot day. I rarely see these temperature extremes in water, and really appreciated them. Breakfast was good, I appreciated the server trying to keep up with the Sunday Exodus. I tipped her and personally thanked her for her efforts.
Receptionist at check in at 1:30 a.m. took a real attitude with me when she ran my credit card, stating it was declined. I told her there were plenty of funds to cover the room and requested that she re-run the card. The card was approved on the second try. Only then, was the receptionist apologetic, and was back -pedaling about her first reaction to the declined card. I felt like I had been considered guilty til I proved my innocence with her. I understand that hotels have to be careful that charges on credit cards go through properly and that they collect room fees to stay in business. That said, I also know that "glitches" can happen with a credit card - pretty routinely requiring that the card be re-swiped or re-run. Since this is a well-know fact, the check-in staff need to be job-coached to MODULATE THEIR TONE in advising the visitor that she will need to make a second attempt to re-swipe the card. If this approach was used, I would not have been upset AND she would not have to go into "apologize mode." Please forward this information to the Hotel Manager for coaching and a teachable moment!
Everything was fine as we were attending a 50th anniv at the Elks lodge.
other than highway noise the room was quiet. Food at breakfast was excellent. Staff was very helpful when we discovered a flat tire on our rental.
Allowed an early check-in after a long flight from Australia.
Not being able to use our car space with our daughter's car when we all went out for the day in one car. We were only trying to replace one car with another and still use only one space but when I asked the staff, permission was flatly refused. Perhaps I shouldn't have asked.
