Overall conditions fair
room needed work, outlet plates falling off, there wasn't a lock inside the door to double or triple lock it (was broken off, so put door under handle to feel safe), tv had very little channels to view, had spilt coke on sheets and sheets weren't changed, no ice machine or vending machine on floor, smoke alarms for entire hotel went off at 5 am and took time to stop, housekeeping made me nervous told me they had no towels and could they come back later (when I left the room..cart was full of towels) hence the taking of all valuables wit me at all times, no do not disturb sign...all in all, if I could have gone somewhere else I would have.
The staff were helpful and cordial. The shuttle to the airport (costs extra) was on time. The free wifi was helpful.
The walls/ceiling are paper thin and you can hear just about everything your neighbors are doing. Choose the 3rd floor so that you have no one above you. The free breakfast was strictly carbs... no yogurt or fruit.
Continental breakfast, hot showers and free wifi
Being called by the front office 5 minutes after arriving because the miserable woman in room 207 on 11/8/14 complained that at 6pm my baby whonis one, crawling on the floor was too loud, so we had to pack everything back up and move to a lower floor. Very inconvenient and rude of the woman who didn't even give us a chance to settle in.How loud can a babys crawl actually be! ;-)
Fermin, guy at FD. He went out of his way.
Other than Fermin, most of the FD staff was either unfriendly and or apathetic. The bath towels had stains on them. The breakfast was advertised as not continental and a reviewer even mentioned waffles. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was for a full breakfast, so I was quite surprised when it was just coffee, a toaster, and a waffle maker. That's not a full breakfast obviously. Lastly, the fact that you charge people who are already staying at the hotel for every shuttle pick up or drop off is insane. I've stayed at hundreds of hotels and many of them had shuttles, but they never charged anyone extra. And on the last day, I had a reservation for the shuttle as I had to make a train. I booked it and pre-paid, yet when the time came, there was no shuttle. While I was waiting and more than ten mins had passed and I was getting worried, I asked about the lateness of the shuttle and lo and behold, there was a shuttle there the whole time but apparently no driver, even though there were three people at the front desk. Finally, an Asian man who is not an official driver, took me in the van that was already there. He was very nice and even gave me a dollar because I was short on bus fare (due to spending all my cash on shuttles). And Asian man who I think is a driver and picked me up the night before, came to the station, didn't call my cell, and then started to leave. I happened to catch him just as he was exiting and when I tried to figure out what happened I found he didn't speak a word of English.
Breakfast, microwave available
Room overwhelmingly Musty smelling. Non smoking room. Lingering Smell had to be washed out of clothes
The staff was terrific and the cleanliness of the room can't be beat!
The TV cable system continues to be a real sore spot with me. It is just too bare minimum for me. I think that for this reason, and this reason alone, this is my last stay at this hotel.
The staff was great. The breakfast was wonderful and served so early that we could have it.
The Rooms were adequate for the price. Did not expect luxury!
Hard to find, beds fair, pillows were awful!
It was dirty .sheets were dirty and rooms smelled of urine
Very fair price! Convenient for air travel, Staff was very courteous and helpful.
Hard to find due to signage being obstructes by trees and Fairfield Inn!
Was close to a good restaurant, only steps away. Close to Hwy, to get back on our trip.
The desk staff, completely rude and dismissive. Room had no small lamps only harsch florescent lights running above the beds. The t.v was mounted almost to the ceiling. Bathroom had no over head lighting, not working. Bathroom dark and dingy. Looks better from the outside. For money, you can do better elsewhere. Not much of a breakfast.
Comfortable room, quiet
There were Bed Bugs, I got bitten by them, im just so glad that my newborn did not get bitten.
The staff was very friendly and the restaurant next door was great.
Not cool. The smell of cleaner when I walked in was so strong it burned my nostrils and throat. The walls are so thin is sounded like an elephant was staying up stairs and the next room was joined with mine. The 2 pillows provided were very small unlike most hotels that offer four very big per bed. They charge for extra towels, the bathroom wasn't very clean and the shower head sprayed the whole bathroom. There is no refrigerator or microwave and you could only see the TV from one bed. The breakfast only offered bread products and juice. There was no option for a gluten-free person. I'm fairly easy to please. I've never given a bad review before.
The fact that there was a television. I could extend my stay by a few hours without paying extra. The shuttle to airport is a great facility.
I believe your televisions need to be updated. Almost like watching black and white......colour bad.
The hardest bed we ever sleep on. The room was so small it was like being in a closet. No microwave, no refreig., TV mounted so you had to be in one spot in the room to see it. I will never stay in this chain again.
Location was great...price was good for the size of our room. We'll stay here again when passing thru Sacramento. Staff were friendly and pleasant.
Hallway carpets were dirty. Room cabinet and drawers were dusty. Other guest were noisy.
I like the easy access location and closeness of surrounding facilities. Black Bear Restaurant right across the street.. Chevron on the way out.. so the you can hit the road full. The room was ok with a fridge and microwave...Fair price for the budget conscious..and not a bad , free self serve breakfast facility..but get there early.
Bed pillows were terrible.. They are way too small.. The TV in my room had some problems with the sound but since I was staying only one night I didn't make an issue of it. The bathroom had a sink but no vanity so, while brushing teeth , shaving etc.. there is no place to put your stuff.. except the top of the toilet tank. There were a few minor maintainence flaws..but no big deal.
Lots of towels, Good shower, Large room,
the airport shuttle was great, I didn't have to get up so early to take daughter to airport. It was nice and quiet.
Clean Quiet Very economical Close to a great restaurant Close to main highways
Extremely close to Discovery Park. A cab fair was only $14 there for the Monster Aftershock event I went to, that was a huge plus for me so that me and my friends didn't have to worry about having a designated driver. There is a Black Bear Diner, Burger King, and a Gas Station just right outside the motel which you can get to on foot faster than you can drive to. Overall the place was kept fairly well. I've rented motel room in many locations for the same amount of money and felt that I got true value out of the price of the rent.
The motel is 3 stories high and the only place to smoke is outside on the first floor. The shower rod was bending downward when we got there and the way it was designed it didn't allow the curtain to close all the way, so it was really distracting (providing you care about getting the motel floor soaked). The ice and vending machines were all on the first floor while my room was on the second floor, so between that and smoking, I had to use the elevator alot because there were no stairs that I could find.
24 hours shuttle services to and from the airport. It was great not having to pick up my sister late at night. I drove to sacramento and my sister flew in. The morning breakfast was good and the hours of operation was excellent. I think the breakfast was available at 430am on the weekend. I checked in at about 730, and your desk clerk was very efficient, but most of all he had a good sense of humor. I love your hotel.
