the airport shuttle was great, I didn't have to get up so early to take daughter to airport. It was nice and quiet.
Clean Quiet Very economical Close to a great restaurant Close to main highways
Extremely close to Discovery Park. A cab fair was only $14 there for the Monster Aftershock event I went to, that was a huge plus for me so that me and my friends didn't have to worry about having a designated driver. There is a Black Bear Diner, Burger King, and a Gas Station just right outside the motel which you can get to on foot faster than you can drive to. Overall the place was kept fairly well. I've rented motel room in many locations for the same amount of money and felt that I got true value out of the price of the rent.
The motel is 3 stories high and the only place to smoke is outside on the first floor. The shower rod was bending downward when we got there and the way it was designed it didn't allow the curtain to close all the way, so it was really distracting (providing you care about getting the motel floor soaked). The ice and vending machines were all on the first floor while my room was on the second floor, so between that and smoking, I had to use the elevator alot because there were no stairs that I could find.
24 hours shuttle services to and from the airport. It was great not having to pick up my sister late at night. I drove to sacramento and my sister flew in. The morning breakfast was good and the hours of operation was excellent. I think the breakfast was available at 430am on the weekend. I checked in at about 730, and your desk clerk was very efficient, but most of all he had a good sense of humor. I love your hotel.
Almost everything was great, and specially employees, they all were really nice ))))
vibration from trucks, felt uncomfortable ((( No fridge and a microwave in room.
convenient to all major highways as we traveled across town, south, and to airport
Cheap Clean other than the carpets
Smelled like smoke in the hallways which seeped into the rooms. Carpets needed to be replaced. Breakfast was just toast, waffles, oatmeal.
The price. Convenient to airport
Carpets, wall paper the whole facility is run down on the inside. The couch is stained and feels dirty. Carpets stained. Old t.v. the towels are stained and ripped when I dried off. Smelled like food and alcohol in the hallways. Wasn't a pleasant relaxing stay. Location is great.
food close, shuttle, wifi excellent
the rooms weren't as soundproof as I would like.
I was only there a few hours and it was long enough to notice cracks in the bathroom floor, the rubber edging around the base of the bathtub was falling off and the room was not very clean.
Charge for parking. Polyester comforter with cigarette holes. Old TV. Window shade didn't block out light from street lamp.
The freeway is a bit loud. And, so is the airco
Everything was excellent as far as the staff and us staying there...had a fridge...a.c. was icy cold while it was 103 outside... comfy bed and pillows and insanely clean.
Only problem I had was the WiFi was always toggling back and forth between no coverage and one bar making it log on and off the wifi itself. It made me just use up my data just so I dont have to see the message and log in every ten minutes.
Price was reasonable, location is good for interstates 80 and 5 travelers. There are food options next to the building. Breakfast is included - while minimally stacked and attended- it is still free.
Staff: before you even get to the counter to address the shift attendant, you hear an irritated "Can I help you?" Forget the smiles too, the staff look miserable. However, if you ask them to do something, no matter how irritated they look, they will take care of your requests. The facilities are 'clean', but if your expectation of clean is no hair on the bed, or dirt marks on the carpet, and a properly functioning bathroom, be it the shower head, or the courtain, you might get problems (we did with both rooms). There is freeway noise and the room doors have no insulation seals, which means you hear what happens in the hallway. The walls are also thin, so goo luck if you have inconsiderate neighbors. Wi-fi is a joke with super slow speed, assuming you can catch the signal with your device. My laptop's network adapter was better at finding the signal than my iPad, which could not locate the wi-fi network at all. Overall, the place would be good if the people running it cared enough. The staff is poorly trained and shows lack of motivation to provide good customer service. Their business acumen is absent.
The price and the breakfas were excellent
Wifi was poor
How big the rooms were and how cold the AC blew
The front desk worker was not friendly or helpful at all
Good close location to the sleep train arena
Poor water pressure, had to park on street cause parking lot was full
Friendly and helpful staff. Conveniently close to the airport.
Loud buzz in the TV audio every time the video displayed something bright white. It was an HD screen but not HD video.
I continue to love its proximity to a diner you can actually walk to. The bed was tremendously comfortable and the shower worked like a dream. It is my favorite affordable stay-cation spot!
However, I am not a fan of where the TV is located in the double bed rooms. High up on the wall like that makes for difficult viewing if you have vision challenges. I am also not a fan of the selection of cable offered. I would like to be able to get HLN, which I thought was pretty basic for any cable package.
Good value, location
Only one computer/printer which was monopolized by one guest. We were unable to use.
Great location. We love Black Bear Diner. Room clean & comfortable w/a VERY helpful front desk attendant. She gave us excellent advice for flying SoWest w/ an 87 & 88 year old senior, both w/ walkers. The 88 y.o. , my mother had never flown commercial before. (It turned out to be a great experience.). We were 4 adult family members meeting in Sacramento for an adventure.
1) I followed the directions from your website and it took me right past that hotel to the one on Madison Rd. The girl at that desk gave me the address back to the airport location and said that it happens a lot. I clearly typed in Sacramento Airport as my direction. 2). There was no coffee pot in the room. (Much needed at 4am.). 3). The shower curtain bar needs to be put on straight so the shower curtain doesn't slide away from the wall & leave the floor all wet.
Quiet place. Staff are nice
Poor breakfast. No meat, no eggs, only flaour.
Nastiest hotel EVER!!
The motel was easy to find and is located near an excellent Black Bear Diner. The rooms were spacious and good for comfort.
The breakfast area is way too small for such a big motel. For tens of rooms there were only 3 small tables in a cramped tight space. This didn't make sense at all taking into account how spacious the rest of the reception area was, including non-used space for lounge seating. For breakfast either come early or go elsewhere.
Tiles were coming off; sink plugged up, all around low quality room.
