The grounds were pretty
Our room was not clean when we got there. The tub faucet was broken. The blow dryer would not work. For the hefty price we paid per night I expected a more high end facility, with working items. Very disappointed.
VERY close to Lake Arrowhead Village Good access to everything Great atmosphere - a historical hotel Breakfast buffet was very convenient and more than adequate.
the bathroom was a bit overdone with the gigantic whirlpool tub. We did not use it, but others might really like it. -storage space was adequate
loved fireplace in the room...
had people smoking outside of our room, because they were all non smoking rooms, they were loud and we could smell the smoke....
Loved the location, staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was good too. Location close to the village.
We had a 2nd story room, it was hard to tell where the 'landing' started from the step in the room.
Great atmosphere (ambiance). Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Stairs were a bit tough at the end of a long day. No other access to third floor room.
Restaurant food expensive..
The juccuzzi tub was amazing. Having a cabin feel with the fireplace was really romantic everything was wonderful.
Leaving it was a short trip wish it could have been longer.
Good Bed, Friendly Staff
Room was so small that we had to leave all day because we could not enjoy ourselves in the room. It is so small that if you wanted to read a book or watch TV, you had to sit on the bed. Air conditioning was located in the hallway, not in the room so you have to leave the door open. Floors and carpet were dirty.
Staff in restaurant was wonderful. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
#1 Our room was right on a parking lot so lots of noise. (The pictures showed quaint cottages, but no parking lots.) #2 Our toilet ran off and on all night long. We asked for it to be fixed but that was a no-show. My husband had to shut off the water to get some rest.
Close to the village Jacuzzi
Bad Spring on bed AC Not labeled well
Restaurant quality of food and service very good for dinner fair for complimentary breakfast. Facility very convenient to village.
Room is somewhat hazardous for older persons, especially stairs to unit we were in and uneven floor in bath, and plumbing. Hot water temp is too high, also a potential hazard.
The room we stayed in had a small privet balcony that was great to watch the sun come up. The cabins are all nestled in to the trees giving them a secluded feel .
The room needed a little more attention. The refrigerator set on the floor and the door drug across the carpet making it hard to open. The TV's cables were just hanging down from the mantel making it look like it was just thrown in.
History and resort location.
Hard to locate cabins and it was work to move luggage from parking area to room/cabin.
Staff were brilliant . Room was delightful .
Staff was so great, food amazing really quaint and cozy vibe.
room was musty/mildewy
The restaurant and bar area is cozy and the Fish and Chips special was tasty and very good value.
Outside the reception area Wifi was very patchy and bombed several times.
The Rooms were clean . The beds were comfortable. It was a bit overpriced for what you get.
I felt like the accommodations could have been more.I expected a more country feel for the mountains. No coffee pots in the rooms.Lobby may want to consider leaving coffee in lobby past 10:00-10:30 am. Room service did not happen until a phone call at 3:30pm. King rooms needs a sofa or chairs to sit on not a futon. If someone needs extra sleeping they could have a rollaway brought in.
The location and surroundings. The staff
Loved the location; so close to everything including our cabin in Blue Jay. We are in the process of beginning a remodel and needed a place to stay during the process. The project will probably take from 6 to 8 months
The room next door had a small barking dog and the occupant made a tremendous amount of noise (stomping, etc) at very late hours (approximately 10:00PM-1:00AM).
