History, location, staff, and the western hospitality.
We only had time to stay a few days.
Location close to town
Liked the location, within walking distance of all Tombstone attractions. Very quiet at night.
Our room was not cleaned the first day, let front desk know and no problems after.
Location in Tombstone was great - walking distance to everything. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Room was spotless and the property was in a quiet area. WiFi was spotty, but we were warned about that and the hotel was in the process of changing its provider to improve the reception.
It was clean and the owners where nice
The room was the smallest I could touch the walls when I would stretch out my arms the bathroom was so small that my shoulders would touch the walls and there was no place to sit other then the bed had to park on the far side of the building and walk up and down hill to my room....
Location, staff, price.
Size of rooms.
Location, location, location. Walking distance to downtown Tombstone.
Mattress too firm for our liking. Could use a memory foam topper. Gravel parking for motorcycle is dangerous.
The place was awesome. The manager was very friendly. Close to everything. Had a great time.
It was a kind of cool old looking place
Got ot tombstone to find motel. Pulled up to the office to find out that people who ran motel were gone, found out through people in town that they were on there honeymoon. They put the key in envelope on office door with instructions. Went to room #7 & found that there was not enough room inside for my wife & I to walk in room together, 140 square foot. Made do. In the morning went to take a shower & there was no hot water, no one there to tell. Can't believe you can run a business like this. Will not be back to Tombstone Az.
No hot water - cold shower No staff on duty when we arrived Told credit card would not work and had to pay cash Had to make very expensive phone calls to contact anyone No staff on duty when we left Air conditioner did not work very well and very noisy
It matched the theme of the town.
I enjoyed history about Sage Brush Inn. Staff very friendly & accommodating to needs & comfort. Really enjoyed our stay.
Can't complain about anything. I had a great 3 nights stay. Rooms a little small but nothing to complain about. Would stay again.
Staff very friendly and helpful felt like staying at a friends home
Nothing it was great
The owners were very friendly and helpful. We brought steaks and uses the grill which was so much fun Can walk to everything and still your in quiet area of town. We've stayed 6 times in past two years at different places. We will definitely stay at sagebrush again.
Room was small but we knew that ahead of time so I have no complaints.
The room was very clean and the staff very helpful, I will recommend it to others.
The bed was a little to hard for my old bones.
Really enjoyed the decor!
The Glen Ford suit was awesome! Host was great. Superb location and very reasonably priced.
The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff friendly .
Rooms are VERY small
It was a very small and tidy room from good olden days (1942??). Most of the celebreties stayed there and the rooms were named after them. Nice feeling and comforts are good and looks like an oasis in such kind of a place 'Tombstone'. The owner left the key outside when I went late in the evening and I did not have a chance to meet her :(
Great value and with in walking distance to Allen St. Friendly Staff and clean no frills room... But everything you need... I would stay again
Rooms are a little small ... But it is what it is.. But still would stay there again when in Tombstone
Very original motel in a quiet residential neighbourhood, 5 minutes walk from OK Corral and the main streets. The motel and the rooms are charming and definately not your average hotel/motel experience. Very fitting for at trip to "The Wild West" and also John Wayne afficionados, as he allegedly slept in one of the rooms (according to the sign on the door). From a practical perspective everything was nice and clean.
Wi-fi spotty and beds were very hard
Away from tourist area. Quiet. Great people running it. Neat history.
The woman that owns the hotel was very friendly;a nice person.
The mattresses had big holes that you sank into. Definitely way passed their prime. Most of the electrical outs did not have the ground port so my CPAP machine could not be used. The odor from cleaning fluids were so strong it was nauseating. The bathroom had a large hot tub and they had built a landing to enter it which partially blocked the entrance to the bathroom. It was a real tripping hazard at night and could cause a pretty nasty fall into the toilet. This hotel really needs updating to be a reasonable place to stay. I'm all for history and quaint but it needs to be in the 21st century for safety comfort. We had reserved on line for 3 nights and the afternoon of the second day we left even though we knew the money paid would not be refunded. It was that bad that we didn't care about losing the money. I really think this should not be considered a place to stay.
