In the center of the city of Las Vegas, Oasis at Gold Spike is just a 3-minute walk from the Fremont Street Experience.
Score from 13 reviews Very good
A variety of restaurants are on site for guest convenience at this Las Vegas hotel and casino. Guest rooms offer free Wi-Fi.
Score from 828 reviews Good
The convenience, the cozy room, the atmosphere, the restaurants, staff and other guests were nice and not rowdy.
Maybe a comforter or blanket put in the room
Best deal for the money.
Far from everything.
The people were great ,the facilities very pleasant. Staff in a couple of the restaurants not as pleasant , Friday's and Italian food court .
Staff in a couple restaurants .Friday's and the Italian food court food was horrible . Had to toss it, burned and tasteless .
Liked the facilities, a lot to do for all ages, nice theater and bowling alley, with a large casino and good restaurants, no need to go anywhere else
type of people staying there. friendly staff
no airport shuttle.really that is about all.
I THOUGHT THE BEDS WERE A LITTLE TO HARD AND SO WERE THE PILLOWS MAYBE BETTER PILLOWS ..
The hotel was very much as expected. No surprises.
I felt the lay out of the hotel was somewhat awkward. Access to parking and hotel was confusing.
ADA needs where met. Clean rooms. Accommodating staff. Friendly atmosphere. Great Valet service. Updated rooms, they don't look old and outdated.
They need more food options. A 24 hour cafe of some sort would have been nice. Coffee spot is needed with pastries. Dunkin doughnuts was awful in selection and service. Do they really need it anyway? Pizza was so greasy.
It was a casual, slower paced casino. Really liked the place. Not as fancy as some other resorts, but clean and comfortable.
Staff at check-in was rude and unconcerned that the room that was reserved (king bed) was not available.
Everyone was very friendly and made our stay very nice.
The pillows on the bed and overall stay was awesome.
The person checking us in.
Everyone was helpful and friendly. It was quiet (not crazy like some) and yet fun. Clean. Won a little cash and met some really nice people. The shuttle to the strip was very important for me.
The internet says it is free for 1mbps, but there is a charge for 10mbps. You have to agree to putting the charges on your room bill before you can access any - not what I had thought when I made the reservation. A frig in the room would be nice, as the ice melted very quickly.
nice room, very clean, big bathroom! Best Price for nice room! Perfect for a off strip stay!
Friendly staff, nice rooms, slept very well. First choice when in Las Vegas.
Loved the bowling alley in the basement! Also, they offer lots of nearby parking.
I was unhappy to learn that the Mystic Falls display, something featured VERY prominently in their ads, was down for maintenance, for the whole month of October. What made it worse, was that no place in the ad, was this mentioned. We found out about it, on'y upon check in. Not cool!!!!
Easy access to freeways. Plenty of places to eat and there are other activities besides gambling
They require a $100 deposit for room damage. Think that should be posted somewhere before you get to check in!
Very pleasant atmosphere, traditional Las Vegas experience, very good dining choices in the traditional Las Vegas way. Hotel is in very good condition. Many entertainment / activity choices
Palatial rooms with bath, everything you would expect from a business hotel but really really good value and soooo much cheaper than the strip. Gym. Restaurants on site. Huge Walmart opposite and Starbucks just down the road (where you can get 3 coffees for the price of 1 on the strip !). Normal priced area on all facilities as opposed to much higher on strip.
Arriving. Nightmare. Especially in the dark as the signs aren't illuminated. You need to go to parking garage 2, third floor to get across the walkway then down escalator to the first floor or lifts other end of corridor o get to reception then locate your room. Check in first then get your bags! The normal hotel arrival is all valet parking. Easy when you know how!!
We had a garden view room. It was amazing. Fantastic free show daily good food and drink facilities nice pool area easy access to Fremont Street along Boulder Highway
necessary evil - walking through the smoking areas of the casino
The room was spacious and comfortable. There was a variety in gambling choices. Other entertainment was also offered.
The location was far from the Vegas strip
We were delayed on our arrival due to vehical break down. I called to let them know they not only held our room they told me how to get in the easiest way with a big uhaul and car in tow. I can't tell them thank you for the wonderful service.
parking everything across the street didn't feel very safe
no refrigerator in rms
Room was cheap for my 3 day stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Sign up for player reward card and buffet is cheap. Breakfast is my favorite meal and Buffett was $6. I don't gamble but this hotel had a lot on site bowling, movies etc will stay there again.
I enjoyed the leisurely pace of fellow guests. The large selection of events (bowling, bingo, etc.), resturants, numerous machines, and table games was impressive.
I was assigned room 661 while parked in 'garage' 1. I was not told that 'garage' 2 would give me quicker access to my car when deciding on other away from the casino experiences.
The bed was comfortable and we liked the way the room was set up.
First of all, we were gone during the day-when we got back the room smelled like weed!!! We went to the ice machine and there were people smoking in the hallway. The following morning, the maid knocked on the door when we had the do not disturb sign hanging plus we had a late check out. I complained to management and they did nothing to accommodate us!! Very disappointed!!!!!
