Really good value for the money, especially since it is so close to everything (Alamo, Riverwalk, Market Square). It was quiet and quaint and I will definitely stay here again!
Very unique place unlike none that I've stayed in. Very clean, love the atmosphere of the rooms.
Need more parking so guest won't have to worry about their vehicles, or some type of security to watch over them.
The decor of the room.
The water pressure wasn't great in the shower.
How clean and organized the place was....
There was nothing to not like...
This hotel was like a diamond in the rough. The location was a bit scary but once you got inside and especially in the room, the Patel's had it polished clean and the room was fabulous! The furniture was beautiful, bed was comfortable (a bit small, but very nice) and the bathroom was very clean and well-kept. The location was a bit lacking, but it was very close to everything downtown. I am not certain I would walk anywhere at nighttime, but daylight would probably be okay! Will definitely stay here again when in San Antonio.
There was a dirty pair of underwear behind the curtains, they're probably still there. There were hairs all over the sheets when you pull the blankets back. The hotel location in regards to the riverwalk was excellent but it was entirely too close to the bad side of town and it was a little uncomfortable to go outside after dark
Staff were very friendly checked in early without a problem. The area was not the best because there isnt anything walking distance but other than that hotel and staff were great!
Area...wasnt anything within walking disrance.
The management that was under the owners. A pleasure
The owners customer service was horrible and rude
Location from down town attractions!
the location was very close to the Alamo and Riverwalk - which made it very nice..
we didn't have bath towels in our room-- and when we returned very late at night - no one was at the front desk.
Rooms were pleasant
The front desk- Sign clearly stated breakfast @ 6:30a.m. Front desk said she would not have anything(Coffee, Water, Toast etc;)ready until after 7:00a.m. When everything was ready Danish, muffins and coffee only, with no apology for the delay.
Great Room, Awesome people to deal with. So close to downtown. Great stay!!!!
No pool. :(
Urine on the bed that soaked through
There was a distinct smell of urine on my bed in my initial room. In fact it was wet and soaked with it. When I informed hotel management I was told that they could either change the sheets or I could find a new room. We then had to scramble to try and find a room but were not able to. Eventually another member of my group took the bed and switched rooms since it was his belief that there was nothing wrong. He then got upset when they changed the sheets and the entire mattress was soaked. There was human hair all over another bed. Second, the Continental breakfast ran out at 9:15 when we were told it would be longer. Third, safety....we were told the front doors lock after 10pm. Around 11:30 after coming back from going out we were all talking outside. A random person asked us if they could get in the hotel. We told them no they must have a key, that person then opened the front door without one. Walked in and then walked out. I do not recommend this hotel and I don't know how they have won so many awards.
Bad blankets No tea maker!
We stayed for 4 nights, even thought it was in a rough looking neighborhood we felt safe. Our nights were very peaceful and quiet, the beds were very comfortable. The location was great. We will definitely return.
Water pressure was a little low.
Great location short walk to Downtown and excellent customer service. The room was great with comfortable beds.
I loved it all, it was a great room, very clean
The only things a didn't like was the location seem a little bad considering I'm not from the neighborhood but the hotel was great and also I had room 202 and the picture on the wall just scared me, I felt like the family was going to come out of the wall and kill me lol other than that it was great!! I would highly recommend it!!!
Was a nice place
La ubicacion y el personal es muy amable
rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The hotel was nice and quiet even when the noise level was rather high outside
only complaint and its not even really a complaint is that it wasn't in a very nice neighborhood. It wasn't the worst neighbor hood Ive ever stayed in but it did leave some to be desired
Staff was very nice and friendly.
5 minutes from River Walk, Alamo, St. Paul Square, and other downtown attractions. Clean, up do date rooms with Wi Fi and flat screen tv... Great value for the price... Small enough to have personal attention from the staff.
Breakfast buffet is lame... only muffins, coffee, and bananas.
Room looked nice
We found a condom wrapper and a old sock beside the bed
