good location for downtown lovers; clean.
Parking costs $40 a night. No parking is available till one mile around the hotel in downtown are. No free wireless. No fridge and microwave in the room. Coffee maker is placed in bathroom! most of the TV channels are not free. No pool in the hotel, but most of the hotel on that area offers indoor pool.
Location was great.
Check in front staff ratio wasn't up to the task of moving people through quickly.
Amazing room, view, staff, rooftop bar, and restaurant!
I had to eventually leave
So close to ballpark- beds are super comfy- room is clean
Overpriced- no swimming pool- parking is $40 a night
The view over Petco Park, central location, good sized room, comfortable bed.
Our Room was not cleaned one day & the reception staff were very unaccommodating when informed of this. New towels were delivered, but the old ones were still left on the floor. Also called reception with a wifi issue but it took 3 attempts to get resolved finally only after a call to external tech support. The rooftop bar was open to non guests and there was a lot of drunkenness in the lobby and in the bar.
location, big room
paying for wi fi in room
Loved the location. Hotel is very close to most of the attractions. Everything was in walking distance or within a quick cab ride. Room was a standard, clean, quiet room. Stayed on the 10th floor and I heard no noise. Also loved the roof top bar. It was such a great place to grab a drink and unwind.
I didn't like the fact that wifi was not included with the cost of the room. It wasn't a deal breaker but for the amount of the room it seems like it should be included in the price.
Staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was good. The room facilities were good.
It was overpriced for what you got The standard of food was poor No buffet breakfast option The Concierge club room was not of a high standard - same food every day and fairly basic. Showed its age and was not open every day although you paid for its service every day
Hotel was fine
Booking.com was very poor. Did not make reservation. Fortunately the hotel staff made it work
Gorgeous room, sparkling clean, lovely fresh breakfast,Fabulous location right in the heart of the action, with petco park, the waterfront, and the gaslamp district right at our door. The rooftop bar is VERY cool!!! Huge fire pit, good music, great drinks, amazing views.
Very clean Very Comfortable Additional Study area/room is great
A bit on the pricey side
No Wi-Fi In the Rooms unless your a Gold Member...ice Machine oin Hallways was Broken....
The price to stay not worth it, I found other motels in the same area lot less to stay, next visit will not stay at this location.
Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms
The internet was slow specially on hand held devices and needed to log on many times in a day
Location, friendly staff, good value for money.
There were no bath robes and slippers, we had to call the housekeeping. There was some hair in the bath, which I think is nasty.
Excellent location. Hotel kept clean.
Question #2 Staff: I put poor only for your restaurant staff. The service was very poor . I had to get up and pour my own coffee. Waiter took 30 minutes to take our order. The table was lacking silverware. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. We couldnt understand why waiter took so long to take our order.
Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Location is perfect.
I didn't appreciate that booking two rooms that one room entry door lock was broken. The key would not allow access into room. Waited over 40 min for hotel assistance to unlock door. Spoke with the manager and was treated poorly. Assistance should have been immediately. An apology doesn't cut it with an unsatisfied guest not promptly taken care of with the amount of money spent booking two rooms. I will never refer friends or family to the hotel on custumer service alone. Extreamly un happy and no compensation other then an apology.
Well located and a very helpful staff member called Tatiana on the front desk.
The hotel is well located, and it takes FULL advantage of being on the doorstep of GasLamp. It is not unique to any of the other big hotels in the area. It is not value for money if you are in the city for the nightlife. Car parking fees are unreasonably high. I feel if residents were offered free parking it would be a selling point.
Location in the heart of the Gaslamp district, adjacent to the Petco stadium
The hotel staff recommanded that we visit the Altitude terrace on the 22nd floor. They mentionned that we could order room service food from the terrace. We took a quick shower, got the kids ready (7 and 11) and rushed to get their in time for the sunset. Upon arrival we were kicked out like delinquants by the bouncer as the terrace, from 5pm onwards, becomes a bar and kids access is forbidden... I went to the reception to complain, asked to speak to a manager and could see no one. After 3 nights, I was still unable to speak to a responsible person. What bad management. I will never go back to this hotel.
