Large king size bed
No WiFi, not enough sitting room or chairs. No help in getting WiFi, seem people didn't care.
That it was in walking distance to the sports arena and restaurants!
Thermostat did not work in room when we checked in. Room was in definite need of make over. Had to pay to park at hotel!
The staff was helpful and courteous.
The environment didn't feel safe, the room was run down, doors were broken, bed was hard, and there was caution tape on the railing next to our room. I later booked a 4 star hotel for about the same price.
The location was perfect. Close to downtown San Diego yet far enough to relax in comfort. Loved the restaurants surrounding the hotel and enjoyed the proximity of the gym Victort.
Very uncomfortable bed.
It was great to have separation of a living room to the bedroom. Made stay more of a homelike feel.
Internet service on the phone even with WIFI was challenging with AT&T. Could of been AT&T though. Parking was a bit limited.
Helpful staff and location close to good but reasonably priced restaurants.Jason especially very knowledgeable and helpful.
Price for the hotel
Staffs are helpful
You can't use the wifi unless in the lobby. Promoted as 6 pepole in one room, turned out not comfortable at all and i need to book one more room in the end.
close to where we needed to go.
paying for parking when it was supposed to be included and the ants in the room
I enjoyed the comfort of the bed and the size of the room. The staff were very nice.
Did not have a refrigerator in the room .
The wifi was just horrible could not get on it if I did it would shut down its slow too
The property's not in the most convenient location, but easy enough to find. The room was spacious and clean.
The air system wasn't working in the room, which critical but not necessarily a positive sign. And the bed/pillows were not the greatest. I've been in worse, but the bed felt old and saggy. The pillows weren't normal bed pillows and were pretty lumpy.
great customer service, especially during checkin..arrived at 4am and clerk was very friendly, helpful and welcoming.
Parking sucks....if you have anything bigger than mid size don't try and park.
Location, they say free parking but its not, they charged my wifes card even after i paid them in cash and still hasnt been credited back,
Nice, clean room. Many opportunities for shopping and dining around the hotel. Bus (to Old Town Transfer Station, from there it's only a few stops with the Trolley to downtown) stops directly at the hotel.
Weak WiFi signal in the room, so internet connection was slow and not very reliable. In the lobby the signal was good, but since it is a comparatively big hotel, the way to the lobby might be quite long.
We booked a room with a sofabed. Couldn't even lay there for 5 mins, it was so uncomfortable.
The place is okay, I got the suit with pull out couch, slept 6 adults. The only place is decent.
You have to pay a parking fee, I believed is $10 per night. We only stayed one night so not so sure if per night or entire stay. But yeah don't know why no free parking, didn't know that before booking.
I was very impresed with the young man who helped us out getting our bording passes for our next day flight. He went beyond the call of duty.
The beds were comfortable.
Mold in our first room, window barely hanging there on the 3rd floor and ants in our room. The room they wanted to move us to had mold in it as well.
The comfortable beds. And friendly staff .
The room looked run down.Looked like no one stayed in it for awhile. The T.V kept turning on and off. Honestly I wouldn't return to this location.
There was no wifi the 2 days we were there. The matress on the pull out couch was nothing but springs.
Picked this hotel because it was located close to Sea World and Balboa Park and had a sofa bed so that our family of five could share one room.
Apparently, this hotel is used by persons using the nearby casino and "sports arena" venue. Loud music, doors slamming, people in the parking lot and elevators openly drinking liquor out of bottles. Like being in the middle of a fraternity. Security tried to address - but one person against hundreds of partiers had limited effect. Noise was so bad the fact that (a) we found a cockroach in our room; (b) the wifi could only be used in the hotel lobby; and (c) the sofa bed was so uncomfortable that my kids declined to use it seem like minor inconveniences.
When I booked the room, I booked under certain terms. Free parking was one of them. However, when we arrived, they were insistent on holding to their $10/day parking fee that they'd made effective that day. I did not feel comfortable staying there with my 12-YO son. People were hanging out in the parking lots, which were strewn with trash. The rooms are barely clean and the beds hard. Internet is virtually non-existent. They want to nickle-and-dime for everything: early check-in; early departure (a full night!); parking. Although we had a DND sign up, housekeeping knocked several times until we heard them say "Oh! There's a sign." Location is near a decaying sports arena between 3 busy streets in a strip mall area. They make good use of Photoshop.
