The beds were comfortable and the rooms were large

Rooms were very dard and close together. A lot of noise from other rooms kept us await all night.

The room whit wiew to the Golden Gate Bridge. The pool, sauna and fitness studio. The Staff was allways friendly and helpfully.

The sink was not really well because water couldn't run out and once we wanted to watch a movie but pay TV didn't work...but after we said it they fixed everything ;-)

Room clean and enough space. Personal friendly. Quite location but not far from fishermans wharf. Bus line to downtown directly in front of the hotel

No fridge

Location was perfect. Easily accessible. Friendly. View of the Golden Gate Bridge was perfect. There was a problem with our bathroom door and an engineer came immediately and took care of it for us. Very nice!!!

Had to request clean glasses each day. Used cups and glasses were left in the room.

Room with no air conditioning. Only ceiling fan Was so hot. It was 85 in our room. Even after box fan brought by engineering it was 76 No air circulation in our room Had to prop hotel door open with fan. And at night too hot to sleep. Well Other rooms had sliders. To let in air. Would have been possibly better Our a tiny window at top of blinds and unless you opened blinds to let everyone see right in not even that air came in.

Staff moved me to quieter room for my 2nd night and provided box fan to help me sleep; very grateful.

Noisy, heard other guests through walls and traffic through walls. Confusing fixtures. continental breakfast is subpar.

1. Breakfast is trash. The only eatable thing was chopped melons. No meat, no porridge, just a lot of bad quality cakes. Only one cup of drink is available, each next costs $3 !!! 2. Besides the breakfasts, if I would describe the the hotel in one sentence, it would be "A lot of small inconveniences". I would not stay there even for $50.

I loved my room with the view of the city and the bed was very comfortable.

One reason that I chose to stay there was that there was a fitness facility. There were, in fact, not working cardio machines in the gym and I had to go elsewhere for my workout which was inconvenient. In addition, I had to use the land line for a couple emergency phone calls and the fee was well beyond my expectations. Over $40 for 3 short phone calls.

The proximity to the Nob Hill district and Fisherman's Wharf area were the best features of the Hotel.

The elevator was extremely slow, the rooms didn't have air-conditioning, and the attached restuarant was gross.

Beautiful views from the fifth floor of the Golden Gate bridge and the Palace of Fine Arts. Overall a comfortable stay.

The room was extremely hot as we had a few unexpected warm days in SF. The fan was ok but reaches one of the two beds. So we opted to open the front door until the room cooled off enough.

This place is great value for money, and has great facilities, eg pool, sauna, gym. The breakfast consists of bagels, fruit and coffee - which is really all you need!

Great central location. Staff were very nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and this was a big saving. Liked it so much we booked again when we returned to the city!

We travelled as a business / leisure trip - the staff were REALLY friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We then stayed at a Holiday Inn and found Da Vinci Villa to be far superior. Thank you!

Sparsely furnished, dimly lit room. Only ventilation was an overhead fan. Noisy since the room faced the pool courtyard. Advertised "free" continental breakfast was bread, pastries, and hard, barely edible melon. No cereal, no yogurt. I'm an airline pilot, I travel for a living. This was a Motel 6 at almost $300/night

Very handy to public transport. Walking distance to Fishermans Wharf. Clean & tidy rooms. Free wi-fi.

Very noisy being right on Van Ness Avenue. This could be solved by supplying earplugs.

Too expensive. No free parking. Very small bathroom with only a sink, nowhere to put down your makeup or curling iron and no mirror anywhere else in the room.

I enjoyed the bed the most. It was the most amiable mattress that I've ever slept on; the pillows complimented the mattress well.

The complimentary breakfast was disappointing. If you are on a low carb diet, this certainly is not the meal for you. Not one ounce of protein (i.e powdered eggs, bacon, nuts) were included in the breakfast.

One of the main bus stops is right out front. It takes u straight to fishermans warf or go the other way and u can perfectly get right on the California trolley line. And your just a couple blocks away from the bus that takes you all the way to the Golden Gate Bridge. Pretty convenient location. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Had a problem with the heater not shutting off in the room. We called down and they immoderately sent someone up and changed out the thermostat and it worked fine then. The big thing was the noise. The hotel is a square with a hole in the middle where the pool is. If u had an inside room it probably wasn't bad. But we had an outside wall room and the traffic noise was almost unbearable. Not that it's that busy but the traffic is constant thanks to the buses and u could hear a mouse fart. And because there are no A/c units installed, common in San Fran, you would have to sleep with the window open. So the traffic nose is extremely loud then. There is 100% no insulation in the walls. And the breakfast. I travel for a living so I have learned not to expect much. But if u are expecting something special or it to change daily. Don't. It's just begals and some pastries. It was fine for me but a lot of ppl were complaining.

The very spacious bedroom with two queensize Beds and view (Golden Gate Bridge) was really good for our purpose. We liked also the sofa, the quality of beds and sheets and the small kitchen with microwave.

The breakfast was not really fresh, specially on the 2nd day. Some of the sweet buns/rolls got some mould, we fortunately saw it before eating it. Also it was not really cheap, we paid for it!
