clean room good position
bad Wi-Fi performance big noise
environment is OK and service is OK
wireless is bad if face to street, loud noise
We had an upgrade with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge and the staff at reception was fantastic. Breakfast was great and the same restaurant at night time is fabulous. Laundry facilities as well, very helpful. Great location, I could go on and on.
Getting lost working back from Fisherman's Wharf and having to walk up and down Lombard Street to get to the hotel. But at the same time, we walked Lombard Street both during the day and at night, what a bonus.
Location great, 15 mins walk to Fishermans Wharf, 10 mins to Lombard Street. Good breakfast and great view of Golden Gate Bridge from the top floor.
Expensive parking (though all of SF is expensive). No air conditioning in room made for a couple of very hot nights.
Rooms warm... airconditioner great.Pool area fantastic.Great for relaxing.Staff very helpful.Breakfast good.Easy walk to Fisherman's Wharf.
No fridge. Did not mention you need to order this when booking. One was supplied straight away.Lift is extremely slow.Needs an update.very difficult to get bags into the Hotel .A ramp would be more helpful for older people to get their bags to reception.Parking a little difficult.
Rooms very clean and location is great, breakfast quite ok. I would return.
A bit motel like outdoors entry to the rooms
Close to the Wharf and bus stops. Good breakfast, helpful staff, comfortable room.
Our room (149) was close to the elevator and was noisy, we were offered a different room, but just for one night we decided to stay put.
Very loud can hear everyone walking above you, around you, in the hall way. Couch was not clean
Lift noise Noise from above room
Nice location! I was expecting continental breakfast and was surprised in a good way about it. The rooms was very cozy, and the beds were really good.
Room could smell better. The guests on the room above ours walked in a really loud way during night, making a lot of noise. Bit overpriced, but i was in the city during Dreamforce...
Great shower Excellent location Good breakfast
Poor lighting in room - very dark They tried to over charge us by $150. Make sure you take your Booking.com paperwork with you as proof. No small fridge to keep water and drinks cold
room didn't have AC
i really liked the staff in the hotel, The hotel looks old but the rooms are very clean and tidy.
i didn't like the food in the hotel, especially for breakfast it was quite unsatisfied.
Helpful staff with local info, calling taxis etc.Clean, comfortable rooms.
Very expensive for what is more like a motel than a hotel. Some noise from other guests pool-side.
The Cow Hollow (Union Street) shops and restaurants are only a few blocks away and in the other direction is Polk Street with another few blocks of shops and restaurants. The cable car is 3 blocks away on Hyde Street. A Muni bus line is out the front door. Try for room 544 or nearby with great views of Golden Gate Bridge!
Good access to Fishermens' Wharf and the city. Comfortable motel with pool. Staff very helpful and gave good advice.
Charge for car park.
we had a great view of the golden gate bridge from our window
room overlooking the bridge. very nice. good breakfast for the United States
Very nice staff - courteous and helpful.
Our room (439) faced onto the outside corridor. This meant that we couldn't open our blinds without being exposed to anyone walking by. Also, there was a bright hall light right outside the room that was impossible to fully block out at night, even with the blinds. The elevator is VERY slow.
It is fairly located - you can walk to the center of the Marina district and to the regency ballroom. It is well cleaned, though not overly romantic, as it has more of a motel setting.
Not overly romantic - more of a motel setting. Practical, though not dreamlike.
The room was really clean. The location was great. Parking was so convenient. It was guarded by security all night and they lock the gates past a certain time so we never had to worry about our rental. Staff was friendly and informative. Price is pretty good. The location was in the trendy, ritzy part of San Francisco. We had a nice view if the bridge. I can go on. It was nice. I would stay there again.
Traffic. It's loud and woke us up every morning.
most staff were helpful
Location (not very close to main centres), tired look, very slow lift, limited breakfast and virtually no gluten-free food for my wife despite advance request, price (restricted choice due to late booking but with more notice can stay on Fisherman's Wharf for same price), Wi-Fi hit and miss
Location. Comfortable beds and pillow variety. Coffee and fridge in room. Staff.
No sitting area in room. Musty smell. Too much light from pool area at night, need drapes.
