Housekeeping, Slow elevators
Friendly Staff, Dim sum Restaurant, Lounge area.
The breakfast was ok. However my small child doesn't always eat right away and they don't let you take an Apple or banana back to the room. That was irritating. Just to add the hotel shares the Dim sum restaurant and the staff if not part of the hotel. Maybe if they were the breakfast experience would have been a little better.
The staff, beds, and view were exxelant!
Breakfast could have done with a selection of cold meats and a little more variety.
It's location. It was close enough to walk to town, but far enough out that it was quoted in the evenings and not so busy. The building itself is well kept and the staff are very friendly and know the city well.
Expensive parking. A bit disturbing street noice.
Friendly and helpful staff. Nice gym
Dinner was ordinary.
Breakfast &location was excellent
The room smelt damp?
I loved how close it was to tourist attractions, I loved the family suite perfect for us!
Nothing to dislike
Loved everything about it.
The bed, sheets and pilliows were lackluster for the amount I was paying. For 4 star hotel and over 245.00 a night I expect a lot of my hotel. I would not stay here again. It lacked expected amenities for the price. The only good thing was location.
The location is within a 20 minute walk to the far side of the Wharf. Which was nice. If you are touring Alcatraz the hotel will let you leave your car on site until 1600 on the day you check out. From the middle of the fifth floor you have a gorgeous view of the Golden Gate Bridge.
location,breakfast is very good.
The staff was so helpful. When we needed help booking excursions, cab rides, directions, more towels, coffee, and even duct tape, they went above and beyond to help us out. We were extremely pleased with our service at Da Vinci Villa!
The rooms were big however quite noisy - we were on floor 2 and continuously got woken up by the people walking above us!
Very convenient hotel and good for our stay in San Francisco.
We could hear the traffic through the windows loud and clear and also could hear the people in the room above us stomping and even heard them talking. Not really the hotel staff's fault but all the noise did make it hard to sleep.
We loved the staff, the room was very clean and spacious - the junior suite. Pool was really nice to hang out next to. It was central to many things, great restaurants nearby. The room we were in had a decent view. Parking was more affordable than other hotels we looked at.
I stayed at the Villa because I thought I was going to get peace and quiet after traveling all week long. What I got was a room that smelled like mold so I turned the AC on to help with the smell and the room next to was blasting music till who knows what time. Needless to say I will not stay here again.
Walking distance to Fishermans Wharf. Spacious, comfortable room.
My room barely had wifi connection. Also, there weren't refrigerator which was the major problem. No Bathtubs. A little loud if your room has the van ness street view. Paid 700 for three days. Price wise, not the best choice
walkable to the pier or to anywhere really. I bought three day ticket for the cable car and it's only three uphill blocks from the hotel. Car is unnecessary. People were nice, okay breakfasts, and good services. I think the best part is its location and if you are visiting, that's what matters the most.
Horrible customer service! Did not fix issue that they created with my room. Front desk staff rude and unapologetic for their actions.
Close to many locations, walking distance from fisherman wharf.
Elevator is slow, and breakfast is without savoury option (no ham or bacon) and salads (no tomatoes, cucambers or pepers), and I am not the type who eats cornflakes or sweet bagels for breakfast.
Clean room and bathroom, with good furniture, had no noise issues, very convinient location to use public transportation. If I am ever back in San Francisco, highly likely to book again in Da Vinci.
A little loud along Van Ness
Convenient location and secure parking, good for a quick one night stay in SF. Didn't spend much time there but it was fine.
More vending machine options and more breakfast options
