One of the weak areas of SF we are given to understand and that was a letdown when traveling with family
Staff was helpful and hotel was clean and comfortable

I did not like the neighbourhood. Lots of homeless people on the streets. Location itself is quite far from main tourist attractions. We rented a car but if you plan to go on foot, be aware. On the other side the parking in SF is expensive. Other thing I mentioned - they could improve breakfast experience by placing microwave into the kitchen. We had to use cold milk for our cereal, no way to warm it up in the kitchen.
The building is quite old but good maintained which is a plus. Comfy beds. Microwave and fridge in the room.

- area is not safe, imho, lots of homeless people - shower courtain needs replacement - the room might be organized better
- small, but rather clean room - very helpful staff - baby crib available - huge storage space

The thing I don't like is when I went out a lot of homeless sleeps outside, not literally outside of the hotel but around it.

It was do much what I didn't like more like not what I was expecting.
It was close to public transportation and a lot of places to eat

Breakfast - ghastly - unless you like paper plates, plastic cutlery and poly wrapped danish!
Friendly and helpful staff

Wifi was weak in some rooms (we met others who were online in the corridor like us).
Relatively central, some of the staff friendly and helpful, good breakfast available (self-service).

Its the tenderloin. There are homeless people around the hotel. If you don't want that crowd, don't stay here.
Very accommodating staff. Very clean. Even for tenderloin district, was a secure place.

If you like to see a lot of drunks and druggies this is the place for you , smack in the middle of china town. Horrible room, mildew and mold in the bathroom, thin walls, very cramped. The worst I have ever stayed in San Fransisco , and I have been here many times for business. Too expensive to be afraid and not get any sleep. Prepaid on the parking otherwise , we would have moved hotels. Hotel would not reimburse me. Needs much improvement and some kind of security for the hotel. I felt uneasy thru my entire stay.

Lot of homless around, we scared a little bit at first :))
Clean and comfortable and so quiate
March 29, 2015
Showerhead didn't work at all, radiator heater was way too hot at night and was not evident how to adjust it (no thermostat)... having gotten in late we just crashed asleep instead of troubling to ask the desk how to adjust. Between that and very loud people on the street, it was just good we were very tired and so were able to sleep. Breakfast was not quality.
The staff is kind and very helpful.

Location wasn't great. Lots of homeless people hanging around. Not the greatness neighborhoods to be walking to get to shopping or the trolleys.
Okay for the price. Staff was very friendly and rooms were clean.

The hotel is central but the area is full of homeless with drug problems. That made our coming back uncomfortable, above all at night.
The staff was friendly. We stayed in a queen room, that was big and confortable.

Couldn't go out at night to go for a stroll with friends and famiy because of common drugged individuals and harassing. It is better if you travel with men if you stay here just to be safe. Didn't really like the location because of the behavior homeless people. When I wake up and look out the window the first thing I see is a homeless man trying to break into a car right outside my window. There is no garage to park your car you have to walk across the street to Park your car however the prices are reasonable and they are there 24/7
Really like that the rooms were really clean as well as the bathroom. I like that we had a great view from our window. Overall hotel was really clean there is an eating area as well which is really nice and the staff was really friendly and really informative when he came to tourist attractions and services!!!

When I booked the room it was for the wrong room, when I went downstairs to talk with the gentleman I explained that that wasn't the room that I was looking for so he changed it but before doing so he said "if your friends have touched anything in the other room then you'll have to pay for that room too" when I asked him why he said because there cleaning lady is gone for the night. The building also smelt like animal feces as we were going up to our room.
The beds were very comfortable and we had a nice view.

ROUGH part of town. Hot water and WiFi don't always work. Homeless people yelling at each other during the night kept me awake.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. Comfortable bed and plenty of space.
March 3, 2015
Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Room was nice and quite. Excellent TV connection and screen. Like the Refrigerator and microwave also.

We arrived to the hotel thinking there would be free parking and then the sir upfront says there isn't and we would have to pay. He didn't tell us it was free if we found at least a parking post considering we were there the weekend, we had to learn that from a homeless. After that once we unpacked the room didn't look anything like the picture online, it was squished. You can hear everyone screaming and squeaking everywhere. last but not least, when I tried cancelling before even entering they were gonna charge me 186 just to cancel, that's a steal! I did not enjoy this stay..
They brought up some more towels, and the tv.
