noise no heating mouldy bathroom rude reception paper plates/bowls bad bed no tv
We were on the 4th floor and kept awake almost all night long due to People outside screaming all night long, we noticed that there's a lot of homeless people camping on the sidewalks close to the hotel but we are not sure if that was them causing all the noise of arguing and shouting at each other. I really feel for the guests on the floors closer to the ground.
The room was really small, stain on pillow case, tub looks dirty, weird smell, found a t-shirt in the room made me feel as if they didn't clean the room, free breakfast sucked. Had to wait in line to cook own waffles that had a funny taste. Very old feels like the floors are going to fall in. Very small elevator was hard to get bags up to the fifth floor with my 2 kids and there double stroller. Pretty ridiculous staff doesn't even help you.
The staff was friendly breakfast was decent
Overall the place was dirty. Mold in the bathroom especially in between shower tiles. Sheets were dirty so I asked for new sheets and when I returned to my room I ha new sheets, but I had to make the bed. My toilet did not refill automatically so I had to fill the wastebasket in the sink and dump that into the water tank. Also I had a room with a window facing Eddy Street. Plenty of characters throughout the night made continuous sleep difficult.
Close to federal building
Not a good/safe part of town at all
Continental breakfast. Room was clean. Bathroom could have been cleaner.
Homeless at entrance and corner. Was walking to parking garage and a drug addict woman had a needle and was about to shoot up. Also there was no air conditioning. The room was very hot
Not a palace!
The room was nice
Seeing people peeing and shooting up drugs on the street was horrifying
it was very noisy from the traffic and all the homeless people yelling. there was no ice machine, the breakfast was limited in choices and the make your own coffee needed more water or bigger cups?
Free Wi-Fi Free coffee at all hours Friendly service (they learned my name!) Noise level was decently low even with windows open Windows open!! Nice sized wall mounted TV
Options for breakfast were extremely limited. Bring your own food. Wi-Fi down 1 day during my 6 day stay. TV channels were limited Didn't receive a receipt when I checked out
Price was extremely reasonable & room was quaint & nice.
So noisy outside it was hard to sleep & beds were very hard. Large amount of homeless made us a little uncomfortable. Not being very knowledgeable on the areas of San Francisco we learned the hotel is in the area known as the Tenderloin.... Exactly.
Location, room (you will get some wierd smell), wifi, price, bed. lot of home less guys with terror faces live around the hotel. Some times they even come behind you shouting or throwing something. If you are coming late better to take cab.
They had availability
The staff was friendly. .the place is clean, very close to the civic center & public transportation. The breakfast is nice.Don't be afraid of the area, the locals won't bother you.
Location is really Bad. The Price is too expressive and breakfast really Bad and NOT enough Space. Nö Body Take care of us!!!
Overall was fine, the room is pretty good and comfortable.
Need better cleaning, and staff is okay, but not really helpful. The cleaning lady tried to walk into the room even with the DND sign on, and breakfast needs to be replaced more often (when we walked in there was no coffee available).
The only saving grace about this "hotel" is its proximity to the downtow core. Nothing else !!!
neighbourhood full of drugs, prostitution, unsafe. No air conditioning, no screen on the window, very noisy. Priced
No AC or FAN Elevator was not working WiFi was not working properly Drinking water provided only 500ml for a day. After that each time you need to go to reception for additional bottle. Toilet was not clean No pen/paper/stationary in the room
Not secure Dirty Very dangerous neighborhood
Check in was fast.
The bed was incredibly hard and we were only given 3 equally uncomfortable pillows. The windows blocked out none of the sound from the busy intersection below. The first thing the hotel told you to do was lock your door after entering the room. The bedside table had a broken handle which only needed a screw to fix. There are a myriad of homeless on the street the hotel sits on. The staff did nothing to make the stay better after a complaint was submitted.
The breakfast was better than what I had expected, but then my expectations where pretty low from motels and such. But there was 3 kinds of bread, waffles, 2 kinds of cereal, milk, fruit, juice-like liquid and coffee/tea. So that was more than ok. The staff was friendly and polite, and we also meet and spoke to friendly guests.
The neighborhood scared my girlfriend, although nothing happened. But at one point I took some safety measures. I got the feeling that although we got a price-deal it still was almost to expensive. It is just a feeling of did I get my moneys worth?
Location was very bad, rooms dirty, breakfast bad, expensive parking.
Staff are okay.
Outside environment.. Scarry. Lift is old type and small. Old and dated...
the staff is rude and trying to cheat you, everything is dirty, there are some insect in the lift. The location is very closed to some place where a lot of homeless people gather, plenty of them everywhere!
