They brought up some more towels, and the tv.
We arrived to the hotel thinking there would be free parking and then the sir upfront says there isn't and we would have to pay. He didn't tell us it was free if we found at least a parking post considering we were there the weekend, we had to learn that from a homeless. After that once we unpacked the room didn't look anything like the picture online, it was squished. You can hear everyone screaming and squeaking everywhere. last but not least, when I tried cancelling before even entering they were gonna charge me 186 just to cancel, that's a steal! I did not enjoy this stay..
Breakfast and price ok.
Not a good location. Had to pay for parking.
The bed had bed bugs
Over all is very good
The neiboughood is not so safe. Not safe to walk alone, specially girl.
staff and room was comfortable
terrible free breakfast menu and area around hotel was run down
My room had a 50" HDTV and HD TV service - a nice surprise. I also got two free bottles of water. The property is conveniently located and was one of the only hotels I could find with available rooms.
There were more homeless people sleeping on the street within a block of the hotel than rooms in the hotel. It's an old building that's been recently painted over - with glossy paint, so it feels like a hospital (just not a clean one). The building was very tired and worn and the renovation the cheapest imaginable. The mattresses AND box springs were wrapped in thick plastic and the bathroom, while clean, was dilapidated, outdated, cheesy and cheap. The free breakfast was worth every penny and the breakfast room downright ghastly.
Smell of lobby and rooms.
I like the fact that the location is close to Union Square, Fisherman's wharf area and the access to those areas from the Hotel location. I like the architecture style of the building which fascinates me. The breakfast i really like the waffles.
Not the hotel in general but mainly the odd people who loiter around the hotel area especially when hearing constant altercations outside at night and was a bit noisy too at night time with all the ambulances, fire trucks, police cars driving through.
noise no heating mouldy bathroom rude reception paper plates/bowls bad bed no tv
We were on the 4th floor and kept awake almost all night long due to People outside screaming all night long, we noticed that there's a lot of homeless people camping on the sidewalks close to the hotel but we are not sure if that was them causing all the noise of arguing and shouting at each other. I really feel for the guests on the floors closer to the ground.
The room was really small, stain on pillow case, tub looks dirty, weird smell, found a t-shirt in the room made me feel as if they didn't clean the room, free breakfast sucked. Had to wait in line to cook own waffles that had a funny taste. Very old feels like the floors are going to fall in. Very small elevator was hard to get bags up to the fifth floor with my 2 kids and there double stroller. Pretty ridiculous staff doesn't even help you.
The staff was friendly breakfast was decent
Overall the place was dirty. Mold in the bathroom especially in between shower tiles. Sheets were dirty so I asked for new sheets and when I returned to my room I ha new sheets, but I had to make the bed. My toilet did not refill automatically so I had to fill the wastebasket in the sink and dump that into the water tank. Also I had a room with a window facing Eddy Street. Plenty of characters throughout the night made continuous sleep difficult.
Close to federal building
Not a good/safe part of town at all
Continental breakfast. Room was clean. Bathroom could have been cleaner.
Homeless at entrance and corner. Was walking to parking garage and a drug addict woman had a needle and was about to shoot up. Also there was no air conditioning. The room was very hot
Not a palace!
The room was nice
Seeing people peeing and shooting up drugs on the street was horrifying
it was very noisy from the traffic and all the homeless people yelling. there was no ice machine, the breakfast was limited in choices and the make your own coffee needed more water or bigger cups?
Free Wi-Fi Free coffee at all hours Friendly service (they learned my name!) Noise level was decently low even with windows open Windows open!! Nice sized wall mounted TV
Options for breakfast were extremely limited. Bring your own food. Wi-Fi down 1 day during my 6 day stay. TV channels were limited Didn't receive a receipt when I checked out
Price was extremely reasonable & room was quaint & nice.
So noisy outside it was hard to sleep & beds were very hard. Large amount of homeless made us a little uncomfortable. Not being very knowledgeable on the areas of San Francisco we learned the hotel is in the area known as the Tenderloin.... Exactly.
Location, room (you will get some wierd smell), wifi, price, bed. lot of home less guys with terror faces live around the hotel. Some times they even come behind you shouting or throwing something. If you are coming late better to take cab.
