Good location, good insulation against the traffic noise. How the staff handled the fact that on both days my electronic room keys didn't work. As if it was my fault. It was a nuisance to have to have to walk back and forth to resolve this twice, but the way it was handled compounded the situation.

They are dog friendly, i don't travel or stay in hotels that do not allow dogs. I have a small pug, & some places charge $100~$200 deposit!! Stupid, my dog is trained!!!!!

Close to town and no freeway traffic or street traffic. Balcony overlooked a quite parkinglot. Our room was in a location by housekeeping and supply room. Lots of traffic and could hear peple comming and goin to their rooms.

The hotel has upgraded their rooms and they are quite nice. The rooms are large and the balcony was a good size. The staff members were friendly. The room was a good value for the money and close to Dana Point. The pillows are not great. The hotel used to run a shuttle to the Blues Festival, but no longer does this, which was really disappointing.
