I regret that there is not a rating level below "Poor" on this website. I also regret staying here.
This is the dirtiest hotel you will ever find, every surface (carpets, walls, doors, furniture, appliances, tv etc) is covered with several layers of grime and is sticky to the touch. You do not want to touch anything here.
God awful does not begin to describe the stench of our room, which was a horrible combination of cat urine, stale cigarettes and the unmistakable scent of broken dreams. The smell was bad but what made it worse was the INTENSITY of the smell. Generally when you smell something bad you get sensitized to it and after awhile you don't notice it really. Not so here, the perception of the smell was as bad when we left as when we arrived. Perhaps if you are a medical researcher studying olfactory perception this may make an interesting case study, for everyone else, not so much.
As many other reviewers have noted we were double billed for our one night stay.
The decor of our room was done in the timeless style of Salvation Army dumpster. If you ever wanted to know what becomes of the stuff even Salvation Army can't use or sell, stay here and find out. Broken chairs, beds that strike a heretofore unknown balance between, saggy, broken, lumpy and hard, filthy ancient appliances, its all here.
Do yourself a favor, stay somewhere else. I don't care if everything else is booked, sleep in your car and you will be way more comfortable. I don't care that you're traveling with 3 other passengers in a Yugo and the seats don't recline, it will still be more comfortable.
The roof didn't leak, but to be fair it wasn't raining either.
The location is great, right off Commercial Avenue.
Not much else good to say about this place.
