San Luis Creek Lodge    

We love this sweet lovely B&B inn, which is our most favorite hotel during the trip along CA Route1. Every detail makes it different from ordinary ones. Highly recommend.

Breakfast time is only until 9:30AM. No elavator, could be difficult if carry heavey bags. But we still love it!

Charming! Large rooms, nicely furnished and very comfortable.

Shower head was placed about a foot too low. Had to bend down to get wet above the waist.

Parking was odd Rm # 426 does not have a sheer curtain, so either you stayed in the dark with the black out shut, or you were exposed with them open.

Great room,l really friendly staff, good breakfast.

The breakfast was very good. The proprietor very kind and friendly. Decoration of room very nice. We had special pricing from Internet. Not sure if I would pay more than $135.00 because of location. Although our rooms (stayed twice) were quiet, clean and very comfortable.

Some employees can be flippant. But, they are young.

Clean room. Nice setting. Very good breakfast offerings.

Told we could not get into the room...too early. That was fine. Told we would be called when room was ready. No call. Was told room had a repair being done. Next morning, a call came to the room and we were asked when we would be gone so that maintenance could check work the room. We asked that maintenance come while we were there. Housekeeping showed up, instead. Went to the office to ask why this was happening and was given very weak responses to our questions. If a repair was needed in the room, then why were we not given a room that did not need repair? There was only one other room rented out. There was no reason to put us in the room that had to be repaired.The entire place was only minimally rented throughout the five days that we were present. Additionally, we were not told by the lodge or by Booking.com that the rate for Feb. 14 would be double what the rate for other nights were. Did not find out about the rate until we were presented the bill at the end of our stay.That was unacceptable.

The accommodation was clean, beautiful and spacious. The layout of the motel is unusal as it is in 3/4 blocks. The staff were welcoming, courteous and friendly. The breakfast was included in the tariff and was more than addiquate. The location is fine, a 10 minute walk into the centre of the town.

There was nothing that I could fault with our stay.

We try to stay here whenever we visit and have never been disappointed yet. Love this sweet little inn.

We loved everything about it especially the high quality craftsmanship and design. The building was so solid it felt like a fortress. The staff was great and the location perfect.

Very comfortable large well appointed room in perfect decorative order. Set well off street so quiet.

Breakfast was uninspiring - assorted pastries and a few cereals plus some unappetising looking potatoes and eggs. I had a made to order waffle but it was not very good. Some prepared fresh fruit and some oatmeal would have been appreciated

We have stayed here several times and it has always been above average.

Apparently the greeting at the check-in has changed under the new ownership. No glass of wine, No chocolate favors, No warm cookies!
