Dirty patio furniture and dirty boxsprings. Poor breakfast, better a coffee maker in the room.
I really enjoy the location very convenient for gay people, every gay bar and rest. is near by!
The general cleanliness was non-existent. Seriously, the floors, walls, and shower was filthy. I also would have preferred some additional lighting. One small bedside lamp in the corner was hardly sufficient. The media center could also use some serious updating.
I appreciate the accommodating nature of staff regarding my dog. I also liked the location, with it's close proximity to West Hollywood.
Room was what I'd imagine a low security jail cell would feel like. They also up-charge you from what is quoted here for a "resort" charge. What???
The room, the pool, the landscaping, the staff. This place looks exactly as it shows in the photos on the internet--very beautiful and very comfortable. The staff were all great. I can honestly say I have never been more comfortable and relaxed in a hotel--it is really an oasis in the middle of West Hollywood and excellent for the price--I know that they are doing upgrades and am glad that I was able to stay there while I could afford it.
They charge me 50 dollars just taxes and parking , my fee was 99 dollars and end up paying 150. 50% more . Besides they didnt give me the room I reserved. Wi fi slowooow. Rooms Are noisy. Never going back
staff was stupid false theres no hot tub no steam room theres to many reasons I wont go back
it was clean
Shared bathrooms were a bit weird but relatively clean.
The 24 hour reception with exceptionally friendly front desk staff. Loved the location- right between Sunset Blvd and Santa Monica Blvd. Secure premises and outdoor areas were awesome too.
I did not have a bad experience at all. However, a coffee machine (even a cheap one-cupper) in the room would have gone a long way to make it even more enjoyable. And a rug or two on the wood floor would have been appreciated. I gave a low score on cleanliness only because the bathtub wasn't clean when I arrived. I had to use some t-p to gather up the hair not cleaned from the drain. Otherwise, it was very clean.
The staff was very nice and the place was a relaxing oasis in an urban area. I enjoyed my stay.
Room was small but there are bigger ones available
Although the notion of a shabby chic pop up hotel is quaint, there is a tipping point and there were bugs in our bathroom, a very gross rug, toenail clippings on the floor and a chair stained with a wide variety of visible stains.
Lovely plantings, elegant outside decor, warm and clean pool, good location and friendly staff.
Secluded location with a real sense of calm about it. Staff were very help and bed comfortable. I wanted to stay longer.
Staff great.. Nice quiet n cozy place..
Took money out of my account without asking. Messed up booking on arrival. No apology.
The shower was terrible. No hot water.
I like the clean room. They have an amazing pool outside.
the outside was a bit dirty and the pool too warm, for my taste!
This place is wondeful... the staff is great and the facilities are wonderful. It is a little oasis in the middle of the big city. Are you gay this place is awesome, its all gaybars around the area:-)
If you expect this property to be mainly gay guests due to its pnosimitry to WEHO not so, there were lots of straight people stays g here, did not like the people smoking at pool and using profanity being loud.
The patio and pool atmosphere. Lighting at night. Our private deck off French doors in for "Q"
The rooms are very tired and the bathroom was really not good. The cleanliness was poor and there were no towels in my room. Also there wasn't an iron or ironing board.
the location is great. The bungalows are quirky and cool and the improvements to the public areas are great.
Nothing to complain
Perfect for a weekend in West Hollywood!!! Can't wait to return.
We got to the room we were in shock! They didn't clean the room after us! We went to complain so the second time it was still dirty from hair ball in the shower from the guest before! The room is really dated! My advice just don't go there
Love Rachel! My friends and I are always happy to see her.
Budget style accommodations in upmarket location. Wonderful oasis style gardens /pool areas with lots of nooks and crannies for reading chill or conversation. Top class cleanliness and friendly accommodating staff. Shared facilities and simple style rooms may not be everyone's cup of tea but for young-at-heart, seasoned or discerning travellers wanting MORE than just budget basic then San Vicente is a charming upmarket budget retreat in million dollar location.
Everything: The hotel rooms built around the pool, the minimalist decor, wooden floors, atmosphere of fading beauty and old Hollywood elegance, the hotel's history, the wonderful reception staff, the welcoming bars and bistro's right around the corner on Santa Monica Boulevard. Our stay was made extra special by Rachel, a lady working on reception. She just went out of her way to help us every time :-)
Poor breakfast Rooms facing the street may be a bit noisy
Very close to the attraction points in LA. Walking distance to Sunset Blvd and Santa Monica Blvd. Friendly and helpful personnel. Clean rooms. Very good price.
The room we stayed in was fine but it was a little rough around the edges. There was mold around the shower caulking and the floor needs a good scrubbing. This hotel is on the cusp of being great but just needs a little more elbow grease in the cleaning department.
You know that single uncle or brother you have? The one with a cool house but he does all the cleaning himself? That's what the San Vicente Bungalows are like. Very cool little boutique hotel. Amazing outdoor pool area with gardens and fun seating areas. The rooms are nice too but are set up more like guest bedrooms in someone's house than a hotel room.
